This has been one of my favorite parks since moving to the Walteria neighborhood in 2011. Ive been to a lot of parks and even my pup knows when were almost near the park. He can be in a dead sleep and all of a sudden hell jump up and go put his head out the window. He only does that for one other park and the beach lol.

Good for all kinds of outdoor activities. Plus the Library is right there with a friendly staff

Nice park, quiet neighborhood and cool playground. Also good for parties... Can get a little sketchy at night as theres some homeless that like to hang out there but during the day its awesome....

Played hoops here all through high-school. One if my favorite parks back then but unfortunately still closed now with Covid.

I am from out of town. I brought four boys to play; ages 2,4,5, and 7. They enjoyed the playground and I enjoyed that it was clean and enclosed on three sides. There were plenty of benches and a shelter with picnic tables. Great neighborhood park!

Awesome Park to take your kids too. They have a trail to walk around, a little park for the kids to play at, a huge field to throw ball around, a Treehouse for the kids to run around, and many other things. Farmers market is awesome! On Saturday and Tuesday morning.

Everyone visiting L.A. needs to visit and also enjoy the tour and great restaurants!

Small park with nice tables and grill. Nice place for gathering.

Bathrooms need a lot more maintenance...I LOT MORE!!!!!!also around the bleachers area sometimes I see same trash laying there over a week maybe needs cleaned more often and better job done, not to mention the blue benches where the kids area is its nasty I really dont know how residents reserve this area for birthday partys and other events other than just blowing the leaves from one side to the other, I lived in this area for years now and have never seen the tables, sinks,walls, floors sccrub down not once not to mention all the spider webs all over the wood on top and both sinks always cloggall the children pouring sand in them..there should be some kind of note posted for children not to do this since the parents are too busy on their phones to even notice or even care.....I really hope to see some improvement soon, because Walteria is a beautiful park it just needs to be kept up to day!!

Good park, lots of grass and great for kids. I used to love it here. Key word- USED. The park is still in good conditions, with a McDonalds near by, but there are to many mentally ill people or homeless guys. There is a lot of cursing, and weird things being said. I drove past their once, and saw a guy with only his undies on. So, to sum it up, DONT GO HERE!!!

I love this park. Its big with plenty of room to find your own space. Its dog friendly, kid friendly and adult friendly. Theres a play area for the kiddos, plenty of grass area for your dog. Basketball, handball and tennis courts with a workout area. Cook out BBQ pits and tables and a bonfire pit. The trees are big and beautiful with plenty of shade and the best breeze ever for those super hot days.

Has 1 basketball court, 1 softball diamond, 1 tennis court, calisthenics area, bbq grills and birthday party area.

Showed up for a crochet/ sewing class as posted on Meetup and I was straight - stood up!.... Never been so insulted! I had the twins and they gave the jungle gym area a 5 for the balancing pods. They also have good inclines for fun scooter riding.

Great Park. Has a Library close. Shuffle board area. Does not look like it has been used. Very Clean. Senior center. Torrance Police SubStation. Restrooms Clean.

I like that Park itself had a beautiful room where they did crafts and stuff however not good for bringing a classroom or a daycare for the day a few homeless people hang out there which is fine they dont bother anybody but it makes people feel very uncomfortable when you bring their children in that environment so the park itself is beautiful

The place for half court basketball every Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. this place is Infamous in the South Bay. Local bums have invaded the picnic area n/e corner of park, otherwise safe place.
