Nice, clean park in suburbia. Some walking paths (not very long or wide), tennis courts, playground for smaller children, and picnic areas. Enough grassy openings for balls, frisbees, etc. Most parents and kids had masks on too.

A peaceful park in a quiet residential area. Only small but a good walking path to exercise. Tennis courts and nice picnic area

It is a nice park, not too many people when we come with the grandkids. It has a nice playground and restrooms available.

Small but clean park and playground with newer play structure (except the old iconic rocket). Very high mask usage percentage, even amongst the kids.

Super wet grass in the morning so playing football was a slippery experience. Still great though and lots of open space

Its a nice park in a great neighborhood. The park is super clean, has green lawns, a small shady walking/biking trail and lot of trees. There are restrooms, water fountains, tennis court, volleyball court, picnic area with tables, benches and bbq grills on site. The restoom sink faucet automatically shuts down ridiculously fast, approximately every 3 seconds. The playground has no shade but has lot of interesting things for kids to play with. Its highlight is the rocket structure which has ladders to climb in and a big slide; the view from the top is nice. The playground has also an interesting music box as well as baby-friendly swings and slides. The park is generally quiet but gets quickly crowded after school since its located right behind Hickory Elementary school.

My 4 years old son loves the Rocket slide as it is longer than other slides.

Great flat park with spots of shade. The wood chips arent the best, the metal rocket slide can get extremely hot and there are A LOT of bees. Summer Park Days (crafts and sports) are offered however the staff would not let my son color without shoes...its not like he was using scissors...

No shade on the playground, but ideal for all ages of kids with not too many falling hazards. Theyll need help with the cool rocketship though. Lots of shade on the grass and a few grills.

Nice park with shaded grassy areas, playground structures, tennis courts, and sand volleyball courts (no nets for volleyball during my visit though). Just a warning: the womens restroom has 3 stalls but only one has a door, so plan carefully for privacy.

Huge grass areas and big trees. Great play structures. Caution the rocket ship slide is super fast, only 5yrs+ should go down unassisted. Big kid and baby swings. Mulch ground. Bathrooms. Right next to Hickory Elementary. When school lets out this park is SUPER BUSY with people picking up their kids.

Pretty nice park. If you have a young one who wants the climb in the rocket though, beware, he might be too scared to climb down and it is hard for a grown-up to climb in it.

I like this park much better than Wilson park on Crenshaw Blvd. Wilson park is very crowded. My kids are under 6 years old, they got stepped on by the bigger kids while at the playground. Compare to Hickory Park, it locates in a quiet neighborhood and since its not big (but enough to entertain my kids), not many people would go there and its easy to keep my eyes on them.
