Great park nice views excellent for walking, running, biking (golf course)
A fun disc golf course with pretty long fairways. No easy opportunities to lose discs, and that is a big plus. There were other friendly/helpful players on the course, but it was not crowded.
I used to visit this park a few times a week during 2000-2007. It was nice and quiet then. I paid a visit August 2020. It brought back some great memories. It was quiet and looked pretty much the same.
A great place to take your kids, get some fresh air, explore mother nature, exercise, party, picnic, family reunion you name it
Great place for a run or walk, even a challenging small hill!
Took the limes out for a ride in the park. Loved the area. Beautiful park near the university. Needs more trash cans along the trails.
Great to get your workout, stairs, hills peaceful people always there
Great place to go for a walk. Now the bike trail connects Jermain Park, Ottawa Park, Woodlawn Cemetery, and Willys Park. Toledo is improving.
I like this park a lot. Has a good disc golf course and I love the amphitheater. Two knocks are that the trails are a bit lackluster and I dont always feel perfectly safe there, despite the police station on site.
After reading other reviews on the golf course thought was going to be run down and and maintained poorly. Let me tell you this course is fun challenging and very well upkept. Its been right under my nose all these years may become my new go to course.
Short mature course with a great deal of character.
The pace of play was excellent. We played in three hours and 35 minutes. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. The price was excellent
There are wide variety of beautiful places to walk or bike. Theres golfing, ice skating, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Its pretty clean too! Its my favorite park in Toledo right now.
We ate a great lunch in the park, at a picnic table. We just drove down Ottawa Dr until we saw the first picnic table available. It was great considering the today was a little cold. Then we did a driving tour of the rest of the park. Its wow, we will have to come back here! There are picnic tables everywhere. I like the fireplace, and so I think we should make plans for that in the future. This park has bicycle paths all over the place! Please like my review.
This park need some work. The play area was nice!
Beautiful, manicured, classic park with specimen trees and paths perfect for running or walking.
A place full of beautiful trees and green lanes, clean and not far from residential places.
Its a huge park with great scenery and wonderful paths
The course is old-fashioned, quiet, and demanding without great length. The faireays are generally fine and the greens are impeccable.
Had a cool little get together for my daughter 13th birthday
Great 3 mile trail to run/walk. Has some hills to make it just a bit tougher. Id give it a 5 but the parking lot and playground are was full of trash
It has nice looking Tennis Courts and a Disc Golf course.
Im so grateful for the beauty of this Park. Its clean and the environment is serene. Just what I needed.
Nice course that is just a bit challenging but very beautiful
Ottawa Park has plenty to offer everyone. This park really has it all. The Jogging, running, walking and bike trails take you through some beautiful scenery. The Golf Course provides the perfect place for anyone to get out on the green. Many playgrounds scattered throughout the park offer a fun day with the kids. The sledding hill off Upton St. has provided generations a place to get out in the winter for some family fun. To Top it all off, The Ottawa Park Ice Rink! It has served as one of the very few places (until recently, the only outdoor) in the area to introduce generations to the sport of Ice skating. Now Partnering with Tam-o-Shanter, they offer the opportunity for many children to learn the exciting sport of Ice Hockey! The only drawback from 5 stars, is the neighborhood surrounding Ottawa park. Over the years it has become crime ridden. Yet the Park still shines
Great park, and right in my area
Toledos oldest public golf course. Original water canals still run through the course. Designer Jermaine also did the original layout for Inverness Club of Toledo, a Top 50 course in US.
My favorite part! Its Toledos best kept secret!
Movie night was wonderful thank you
Good trip to the police museum and some scootering in the big pavilion
Always love the park. Porta potties were very clean.
Love walking the trail. So peaceful and serene, while getting in some exercise.
Relaxing and perfect temperature for me today
Clean and open, easy trail to follow with lovely scenery
The nature trail was such a great experience to walk and spend clearing my head for a while. Beautiful day to be outside
Lots of fun in a small park.
Played disc golf. City park course. Markings are a bit tired. Course flows well. Two concrete tee pads for each of 18 holes.
Relaxing with beautiful fall foliage
Central location within Toledo, and nice trails.
Nice 18-hole disc golf course.
Great for walks and riding your bike
Beautiful in the woods.. however right now the mosquitoes are so bad I just go over to the mall to get my 6 to 7 mile walk in. I will be back in the fall when the mosquitoes arent so bad.
Always a fun time. Ride the trails for a bit and then play tennis
Great little course with a lot of history. Unfortunately as you can see from the picture of sand traps look like s***. Also some major areas of crab grass. Greg Fish or the City of Toledo whoever is in charge of this should be embarrassed by these conditions. That being said, I will come back because its a fun track.
Course in great shape, greens a little slow.
Absolutely beautiful park to go for a run. Hiking and walking trails galore. Went for an early and cold run, saw 4 deer walking around. Would like to visit in the summer.
Nice for family picnic.
Played here for 4 decades, the new management is really bringing the course back to shape. Greens are really coming around.
Beautiful walking path.
Nice local course
Car parked in front of us couldnt see the movie
Historic City Park, good hiking trails Scenic tall trees, Golf Course
Love it. And its free
Have played here for over 50 years
Very short course. But fun to play!
Nice paved trails to walk around the park, 2 playgrounds that have some graffiti on them. You cant really get away from the traffic but at least the trail is paved so when its wet you dont get muddy.
Well kept, nice neighborhood park. Great place to to for a walk, go for a run, or just hangout on the swings. A nice benefit is that there are grills scattered throughout the park, so if its a nice day you can bring some charcoal and have a cookout with some friends.
Old management drove it into the ground but its coming back. Green are in so-so shape at best.
A gem of a place. Great for running and biking.
Ive played here for years Im so glad they have people in place to care for it properly!! Never seen the greens this smooth cant wait to see it next year !!
Right across the street from the ghetto. Watched someone get brutally assumed while playing disc golf.
Golf course was in bad shape. Dont waste your $
Very helpful an filling
Gorgeous Golf Course and STELLAR Staff!!
Great golf course
Played the golf course. Great municipal layout. Greens were in great shape. Fairly well maintained and price was right.
Ate lunch there city street sweeper came by and caused dust
Good playground equipment, paved bike path, and a lot of open green space.
I enjoyed a meeting
Nice trails but some of them can be very muddy
Peaceful even at night
Good place to work out.
Beautiful park. Great golf course
Near UT and a nice Tennis Court!!!
Nice venue!
The paths were well made, black top most of it. My first time today. Did not find a trail map near the parking area. I didnt even know how many miles the loop would be. Fortunately I used mapmyhike app to figure out if I was going in the right direction back to my parked car. My hike was 3.84 miles because I had to turn around and find a better trail.
Nice quiet little park with alot of trails to walk or bike
What can I say about Ottawa Park I live across the street from it taking my granddaughter there and she has made some amazing little friends the families who take their kids there have they themselves been taken there by their parents and they have shared stories with me of the wonderful childhood memories they have when their parents have taken them there they also have this fantastic BBQ area and a beautiful fireplace I highly recommend you bring the family friends create memories there. Just barbecuing but am I having the children just run free in this spacious Park its also nice to have the Police Museum next door and the police station next door to that hes safe place for the whole family a safe place in my community highly recommend
We went for a picnic in the park and it was beautiful! Lots of tables and tbe park is clean. The trails were also nice!
This is a really pretty park with nice trails. There is I creek or something there that is cool. Its also where the police museum is. Check it out!
Great place to chill with your side piece and/ or smoke a blunt.
Loved my jog/walk at Ottawa. Loved the views and just being outside. The trail is amazing!
Loved it ! Beautiful Phenomenal & Safe Park. The children can play, the adults can meditate, it lunch, get quiet time, walk, run, ride bikes there & have picnics there. The police station there for your protection.
Great big park
Nice trails in the fall, right now they are pretty bare. Does not appear to be as well taken care of as other metro parks- the equipment was starting to look a little run down, there are still a lot of dead leaves & with some garbage caught up in it. But overall has what you need for a park: swings, playground structure, and trails. And the kids had a good time.
Played golf and had a good time with my son. Very old course, I believe it is 120 years old and in fairly good shape considering all the rain and flooding earlier this year.
Clean,cut,nice park
Alot of activity out there but no catches there
Great golf course and disc golf course
Like stepping in the wilderness from the middle of town well kept trails and other activities will you just want to get away from all the city life
So beautiful, plenty of deer around, too. Paved paths. Lovely trees and meadow areas. Wish there were directional signs for the paths, as they do cross over the golf course and it can get confusing.
Amazing park, beautiful walking, biking or running trail, and the scenery is amazing. The deer are also amazing to watch and gives a great photography opportunity.
