Great park to walk your self or your pet. Has soccer fields and plenty of room for other activities. Two Thumbs WAY Up!

I live not too far from this park and its a shame the city neglects this park when theres so much historical significance to it.

Really good walking trails in a little park for the younger ones

The parking lot became filled with teenagers and young adults. They were just hanging out in the parking lot and as more people arrived, I no longer felt safe having my kids there so we left.

A truly great place for the family to get out and exercise has all kinds of stuff to do would definitely plan a picnic or family outing here

Could use some more play things. Something a single overweight parent can join their young child in. Especially with the pandemic, because children, unfortunately cant play together.

Unless you live in this area, or are involved in the Junior soccer games, I do not recommend this park. Teenagers and drug addicts tend to hang out too close for my comfort when I have taken my grandchildren there. BTW, I live 2 blocks from the park.

Good park I love the half mile trail!

The upkeep is somewhat alright but it just seems like the place is run over by homeless people, junkies and teenagers who are trying to be cool. The track itself has a nice view and occasionally the flowers and birds make you forget you live in a horrible city.

Only two parking spaces have actual shade. The whole park is full sun. Great if youre alone using the track, but, bring hydration for the kids, its full sun.

I called to ask a question the lady was really rude for no reason then hung up on me and when I called back she started yelling at me. I dont know what kind of people they hire but they should find someone that enjoys their job.

Navarre park is amazing. Grew up directly across the street from there on Navarre ave. Played basketball and hockey at the tennis courts all day everyday when I was younger.They have a nice playground there now were the bowl is.They also have a really nice walking or running track out back were the basketball court is. Ran many and many of miles there.

Earned my swimming card there back in the 70s...swam there everyday ALL day in the summer....they even fed us all lunch back in the day.. arts and crafts sometimes 2Pray with all the renovations coming it turns back into family KIDS postive OUTSIDE FUN!! and with Debs across the street ice scream u scream we all scream for ice cream! GOD BLESS THE 05!!

Was very disappointed. Took my boys to go swimming during the hours posted, and the pool was closed and overflowing. So we decided to go to the park for a bit. Its was disgusting with garbage everywhere, and a used condom by the swings. Most disgusting park I have ever taken my kids to and we absolutely will not be returning. Clean it up Toledo!!!!

Clean and decent atmosphere!

Stopped to use water fountain which is provided by the city and water tasted great...lots of ppl using park,nice neighborhood,lawns were cut and just a beautiful day to stop off to get water.

Great place to have a gathering for a group

We went here for some sledding fun with our kids and there are a lot of hill options from small to big for all kids. As far as a sledding park it was great fun. The only negative was that there was some broken sleds and a few items of trash but not enough to impair our ability to let the kids have the freedom to sled.

First off, i live across the street. I love taking my walks in the morning or afternoon. Its beautiful scenery, clean. Has benches to sit, you can take your pets, has kids playground and swimming during the summer months. Also has a hall to have your gatherings. Very well taken care of.

Its ok its got a pool a nice track to walk or run field for soccer or what . Horseshoe pits, I think you have to bring the stakes and shoes, its next to the tennis courts.

Good place to walk but theres people there walking their dogs without leach sometimes so you have to be careful

Nice place to take the kids/grandkids during warmer weather. The shelter house is very large and a nice place to have any kind of function in and can hold quite a few people. Tennis courts if thats your choice of exercise. It used to be mine about 30 years ago. And I believe that there is a basketball court and there is a baseball diamond on the other side. Plenty of swings, a slide, jungle gym and I believe that its all been updated. I dont have kids so no grands. I just use the shelter house. Very nice free fun for the East Side families. There are also picnic tables and there used to be those built-in grills, but I am not sure if the grills are still there and I would bring my own anyway.

Nice trail to walk

The walking trail was a first for me. It was clean it was paved. Yet it was short but sweet. Also in conjunction with the pool Navarre pool and playground. Brought back childhood memories.

Its nice its open nice to see the Marshlqndl and and have Trails a little flooded today with the rain but you know thats to be expected pictures of handicap accessible toilet need separate air but still fully usable

Nice park as long as it doesnt get a heavy rain. Though there was sewer drains put in there is still times where it will flood around the drain and/or just be very wet/damp.

It has a nice walking trail. Grills and picnic tables and a playground area. In the summer the pool is open.

I work by it I looked at it every single day I just never go there theres really nothing to do for kids unless you play on my team of some sort

I was working but the wild Lillys are growing in the back of the park.

I had breakfast at the Senior Center. The breakfast had scrambled eggs, pancakes, ham, and hashbrowns,and coffee.

They are hopefully gonna fix the pool for the kids this year.

The so-called playground they have for the little ones to play on is shoddy at best. It was in it was in need of repair. And after about 5 minutes of going up and down a couple of slides they have there that was it. No little rocking horse animals. No monkey bars to speak of. Its about as bland as dried unbuttered toast. TPD rolled up on us like we were the Mexican drug cartel. And sat there and watched us while we were playing with our child on the slipshod slide. Yes it was close to where we live within like 10 minutes. But I can guarantee you that will be taking the extra few minutes drive out to Central Avenue and going to Wildwood where its beautiful and they have toys to play on and dogs to see & sometimes pat on the head. Get it together Toledo! Pave your roads and get some decent playground equipment thats safe for our children to play on! What a pathetic experience we had today! Not even worth posting a picture on this site!
