Great place to visit. You need to take your kids there and LEARN! about fire Safety. They have the experts there to teach them, and even adults will learn something too.I wont wait so long to go back there ️
Its so full of information for such a small building. The guys there give great tours and are very knowledgeable. It was so neat to see how many things were there!
My toddler and I had a lot of fun! Our tour guide, James, was very patient and included my daughter. Its definitely kid friendly and interesting for adults too! Be sure to check out the retro candy store across the street after the tour.
Great place for to learn the history of the Toledo Fire Department and more. And also great for children.
Nice local museum telling the history about Toledo’s firefighters. It was cool to see the first fire engine.
An absolute must-see. Awesome place thanks .
Had everything firefighter related. Even had a fire demo which involved the kids. Would enjoyed it more but kids wanted to leave almost soon as we got there.
This awesome wonder is tucked away in a place that many pass as they drive by and may not discover. Even Toledo Residents may not know of this very interesting gem. Its a relatively small look into the history of Fire Fighting in the City of Toledo. You get a lot of information very quickly. Its an awesome experience, yet they could use a little more space. See what being a Fireman used to be like compared to today. Meet Firemen from ages past as you read & look at the pictures.
Great museum! Lots of local history, cool equipment, stories and interaction for kids.
A lot of collectibles, fire engines and gear to look at. Museum is free and we were given a guided tour by former Toledo fore fighter.
1st time there was awesome.
Great people great museum really nice God bless our firemen Toledo were proud of you
Hats off to the Toledo Firefighters for creating a neat look into the history of our fire department. Bring the kids to enjoy together!
Great collection of firefighter items and Toledo history!
Awesome Fire Museum..All were VERY KIND People.
Great place with tons of Toledo history.
This is perhaps one of Toledos best kept secret. The museum walks you thru firefighting from bucket brigades, hand pulled pumpers, and on to motorized rugs. The newest being a Jeep rig from the 60s.It is rumored to be in the top 5 fire museums in the country. When you figure some of the bigger cities have a bigger advantage, Toledo fire Museum should be extremely proud. Thank you!
Definitely lots to see. Very knowledgeable people.
Great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. The guide was very knowledgeable about the fire department and other local history. Both of my three year olds enjoyed seeing all of the old gear and lots of firefighter/truck-related toys.
