Flowers History in the Baking is a community treasure. It is a must-visit in Thomasville, GA. This exhibition of baking history is done with excellence. It shares the Flowers story with great attention to details and engagement. I loved meeting the long-time retired employees serving as host and exhibit guides. This speaks volumes for this company. They were so kind and personable. John Hesters (bakeries 1st employee 1919-1956) story was inspirational! His quote said it all...” I was good for the bakery and the bakery was good for me!” So glad our friends shared this hidden treasure with us. This exhibit would be great for school groups with a follow-up visit to the bakery/corporate to see and learn all aspects of business and great leadership through generations. Dont miss this stop!
