Great park. Beautiful pond with ducks and geese. Great walking and running trails.

This was a beautiful park! I was not expecting it to be this great. I didnt use all of the attractions at the park, I mostly just ran on the trail which was really great.The trail allows for walking, bicycling, or running. No motor vehicles allowed.While I was there I saw two playgrounds, a dog park, a frisbee golf course, baseball diamonds, and more. The lake was also a nice little attraction.This is a great place to come just to relax, or have a fun day with the family.

Nice, large park with numerous playground areas, shaded seating, and paved walking paths. Lots of ducks and geese in the lake. Great afternoon out for all ages.

Great park to come to for walking or disc golf!! They have 3 18 hole disc golf courses in site, I played Central and it was well laid out and fun.

I enjoy it here at the park! It is a nice place to go! I come here, and I have been sweeping for two month here, and I have many compliments on how good I clean the trial. I do it for the people that go and exercise, and other activities! I want to thank the people who encourage me on!

Great disc golf course! Very well laid out and so much fun! The signs were accurate and the baskets perfectly placed. A wonderful experience!

Came for the dog park. I love that it was separated for big and small dogs. If people would pick up after their dogs it would be an amazing space. Plenty of dirt, grass, and sand to track into your car.

I ride my bike here almost every day of the week. Beautiful park and scenery. Definitely recommend for anyone to enjoy this beautiful park in Texarkana.

We are so happy to have been introduced to this park. Its beautiful, quite large with plenty of play areas and a splash pad, and gorgeous water features. There are geese and ducks, a fishing pier and small stone bridges. The park has a lot of picnic tables and benches placed around the various play areas and near the water. The trees are gorgeous, very mature, and provide a good amount of shaded spots to relax under. The bathrooms are pretty clean and have toilet paper. There are plenty of garbage cans around and the grounds are very well maintained. Theres a little free library available there too. I cant say enough good things about this park. We plan to go back often.

Everything you could ask for while on a road trip with your dog. Areas sectioned off for different size dogs, water, and shade. Really well done.

I am from Minnesota and love coming to this park when I am in the area. This park has great trails for walking and or bike riding, several play grounds, a splash pad, a beautiful disc golf course and very friendly people.

We love SLP. From playing on the multiple play ground setups, to watching geese, playing pokemon, playing frisbee golf, fishing or watching baseball or soccer, SLP is the go to park for all ages

Very nice location for family and friends my grandkids and I love to go feed the ducks there but you can also fish play on the playground and soon to open will be the splash park where all the kids and grown ups can stay cool

Great memories. Brings them back to cone here and feed the ducks, go for a walk, or take the kids to play. Also great for booking birthday parties or family reunions.

Great clean park to take your kids to play. Easy to reserve a pavilion for a birthday party or a family get-together. The dog walk area is really nice as well. The kids splash pad is always too roudy to many big kids taking it over and pushing the little ones out. The park shouldnt allow kids w/o parental supervision to play on it. The summer movie nights are pretty cool too.

Public restroom is past the dog park, next to the ball field on the right. The dog park is great. Its clean, it has a nice large run, and water in the entrance so it easy to convince your dog to get back on the leash. There are benches and doggie bags stocked. It has both a large and small dog enclosure. There is a swing set just outside the fence for your kids. This park also has a kids splash pad in the summer.

I love this park! I take my dogs as often as possible. The dog park section is awesome. Very friendly dog owners.I love the fact that they provide doggie mess bags. Atmosphere is friendly and save.Also I love to fish in the pond. Currently I only cat and release. Last time there I was able to teach 5 kiddos how to fish.

Lots for young children to play on, but spooky as the sun sets. Also has lots of pokestops and raids with pretty good Pokemon to catch.

This park has lots of memories for me. I grew up going to the park and zoo. Now they are hosting Movies in the Park. I think this is great because it is giving bavk to the city and bringing the city and community closer together

Great fishing use bread as bait

Had a pleasant day at the park. The bathroom wreaked of bleach, BUT at least it was very clean. The grounds were well kept no trash laying around, my child enjoyed feeding the ducks and sliding ...equipment is fair wish their was more for younger and EVEN OLDER kids, but its free and what they do have is in good condition. Also Ive heard the fishing is decent there not great, but fair on some days. Definitely a well taken care of, pleasant, and safe place.

Best city park in Texarkana. I have been going to this park since I was a little kid and it just keeps getting better. They have new equipment, play grounds, splash pad, movies in the park, and pond has been re-dug. You can fish and so much more. Great Family Park.

Good place to stop and text, input data on your phone etc. There has always been a calm atmosphere here. You can watch the pond or feed the ducks. Or just take a stroll around the park

I absolutely love this park! I have spent so many hours there, if I need to exercise, waste some time, or just think, this is where I go.

The water fountain is fixed. Made the walking lanes bigger. Loved the stone work around the pond . Not sure if kids will play on the play equipment. Wish there was a company to rent those paddle boats.
