Nice paved sidewalk style trails which are great for a walk or jog. Approx 3 miles round trip to the north and 1.5 miles round trip to the south.

Was affordable summer fun for our family. Busy busy and packed. Everything was better than expected. For 24 dollars for my family my expectations were low, but the facilities were fine, kids were actually behaved, lifeguards everywhere and a small variety of entertainment. Will visit again.

A very pretty park. But the playground is not designed to keep younger children/ toddlers safe. They must be watched very closely. My 19 month old easily accessed all areas of the playground. Several areas open up to 6 drops. There are no vertical barriers or larger steps to prevent easy access. ...also, some of the walking paths have large cracks. I twisted my ankle when holding my toddler and not watching where my feet landed. The bathrooms were large, clean, and private. .... the POOL looks amazing, but it was closed, possibly because of covid 19.

Its a super pretty park but disappointed in how the creek was. Lots of overgrown brush, branches and trash in and around it. Also theres not much for toddlers to do.

Very nice playground, its not for infants or toddlers, they do have swings for them, but the playground is for kids 5 and up. And the Frisbee golf crowd is usually there too..

Love the disc golf course: great for beg-intermediate golfers. Popular walking trails too. The water park is usually popular for the kids but not open now

Open trails to walk run kids have a playground open a d restrooms. Pool is closed for public swimming . However you can plan profit parties Check with the Recreational Director

Good for disc golf. However, some holes have been replaces and it get confusing.

I love our temple parks and this one is no exception. There are two parts to this park, the water park and the walking trail with disc golf.The trail is very short and isnt very shaded. I wish they had used all the space and made an actual walking loop instead of a mostly linear trail.I havent visited the water park but its always packed in the summer and the prices are reasonable.

So fun! A well kept waterpark and very affordable.

I had no idea I lived so close to this water park. Its small but serves its purpose on a hot summer day. I took all 8 of my boys, yes I said 8. They had a lot of fun in the different areas to play in. There was a lot of little kids there so I made sure to tell them to be careful. I think the lifeguards need to be more alert with rowdy kids. You can take a cooler to have a picnic outside of the water park and they will give you a stamp to re-enter.

We took our two toddlers there and there are so much that they were able to do. They loved the train slide and lazy river the most. It was so much fun! There was a lot of older kids and adults too. They have two waterslides and a big pool for just swimming as well.

Great little park for family fun time. I suggest showing up early and parking right at the entrance. No food is allowed, but I suggest bringing water bottles that you can add flavors to! Definitely bring sunscreen and shades. Theres a little some thing for everybody. From infants to adults.

When I heard that it was a city ran water park I was prepared to be underwhelmed but this is a very nice water park. Two large water slides, a kiddy area that is super fun for probably 8 years and below, a lazy river, and a regular swimming pool too. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this park. My compliments to those who designed, built, and operate this water park. Very nice.

Fair prices and the whole family had fun! Kiddie pool and area, older kid/adult pool, slides, and a mini lazy river. Theres upbeat music and snack concession stands inside as well.

My grandson learned he can swim at this park. We are still working on diving. On a 1 to 10, his dive was a 0. Lol, There is a first for every thing. This park is so much fun, and has discounts for grandparents with a grandchild, on certain days. No beauty contest on these days everyone is viewed through love colored glasses.

I love this pool, it is so clean. Now they will let you bring a bottle of water. I like that they sell food.their staff is good & always try to be helpful

Nice park that features a water park, play ground, frisbee golf, and walking trail. Pretty popular place. Frisbee golf seems to be popular all the time, you will usually see someone there. Large parking lot here so usually parking isnt an issue. A little more crowded when the water park is open.

Great place to have fun. But it gets a little to crowded. I wouldnt say its a good place to take a person with a disability. But its good for all kids and adults who are big kids at heart

Our great grandson loves the slides. What happened to the cover? The park is well maintained, the only negative is dog owners that dont pickup after their dogs do business. We watched two pet walkers just walk away even though the city provides poop bags. I guess some people are just too lazy!

This place is great! Great for all age-range of kids. Actually, there is more for the really young ones to enjoy than the olders. I suggest going early as you can, because it gets very busy later in the day. They do not allow food, but will stamp your hand to return and there is a playground/park RIGHT next to the water park. We will be going back!

It is pretty nice, when it is not too crowded. Price for admission is reasonable as well.

Reviewing the disc golf course: The first basket is gone, and all the holes are misnumbered and its pretty tough to tell which tee goes to which basket. It would be pretty nice if someone would come to update the signage and the basket numbers. Overall we had a good time, be wary of the water its pretty deep and hard to get to in some spots but the shots are pretty interesting. Probably could use some tree trimming too the branches are wild, bit for a free course it was a good time.

My daughter loved it. Cant wait to go back. We kind of picked a bad weather day to go. Besides having to get out of the pool we had a great time.

We had so much fun. Small well maintained water park. Its crowded though so get in line early to avoid standing in line for hours! Didnt like the fact that even Killeen residents have to pay a non resident rate but well didnt have the choice and its only $1 difference. $7 for residents and $8 for non residents.

Good walking path, but a lot of trash along the creek bank. And after it rains, some of the walking path is flooded and have it walk in the wet grass. Could use a couple of more trash cans along the path itself. But overall good.

Good park for disc golf. some of the holes were unaccessible due to the rain and it was a bit harder to play near the creeks, but its never a fun game without someone having to swim after a disc. theres also a covered playground great for older kids.

Great place to cool off. Clean, easy to get to. It was an all around fun day at the pools. I highly recommend it.

This park is so fun!! There is a play place and a paved walking trail. There is also a water park with a lazy river, slides, and an awesome kids play area. We really loved this area.

Place is nice and cheaper if you live in Temple. But the bathrooms are disgusting. To be expected I guess. But overall a great place to bring the family. Has a lazy river which my son loves. To water slides, one open and one closed.

Will not be going there ever again, this is the second time i make a review about them, i guess they managed to take down my last review. They dont let you bring any food whatsoever, only water. They really check your bags. Funny thing is that they sell food so they expect you to buy their nasty expensive food. After been at the pool for a while specially when bringing kids, they get super hungry so its not fair they make u buy their food. Is this a free country or what? Thats really communist! They wont see another dollar from me ever again i promess.Oh and no matter how many times u take down my post, i will keep posting them, thats another promess

Good park

This park is great! It is within walking distance from our Alta Vista Community as well as Lions Junction Water park. The water park is perfect for families who want to chill with their loved ones. Your children arent good swimmers? Thats okay because the pool goes up to 3ft 6in. There are 2 large slides & a large pool separate from the lazy river type pool.I gave the park surrounding Lions Junction a 4 because trash isnt picked up regularly, the creeks are full of trash and not picked regularly. It was a great place for practicing your disc golf, however, there have been changes with the location of baskets and it has been a couple of months.
