Amazing place to be..i feel so pristine to be here. The temple is so beautiful, and it’s big too. You can find all the god and goddesses here. There will be some kind of event every day, so its good to check the calendar before you visit, if you want to join one of these.

The temple is located very closer to the I35 free way. The temple is very well constructed in line with the South Indian architecture. The canteen is open during weekend and special events. The typical south India style Maha Ganapthay Temple

Awesome temple!! Clean and well maintained.The Mahaganapathy statue is big and really good . Temple art work is great and we had a feel that we have visited a South Indian temple.It has a idol of Parvati, Lord shiva, Perumal, Mahalakshmi, iyappan, navagraha, Amman .You can visit this place while going to Austin from Irving High ways.Lunch / Free Prasadham is also offered.Green Environment and Feeling peaceful

Excellent Temple. Very quiet and peaceful. If you are traveling from Dallas to Austin or the other way around, do plan to stop by for sometimes the will be definitely worth the time and its just off the exist of I-35

I recently visited this place on the New Years day and felt completely blessed and blissful. It is located very near to the highway and so one can easily give a visit on their way to Austin/San Antonio. It has a very peaceful surrounding with Omkara Ganapathy as the main deity. Any photos/videos of the deities are strictly prohibited at this place. They also happen to have a canteen in case you would like to buy some temple food like tamarind rice, curd rice, lemon rice etc..In depth detail about the various deities in the temple from their website:Ganesha is the main deity in this holy place, with a magnanimous OM shining behind Him, projecting the unifying theme of Hinduism (hence the name OMKARA MAHAGANAPATHY). Lord Ganesha, 3300 pounds in weight, was chiseled from a large single stone cut from a mountain by religious artisans in Mahabalipuram under strict Hindu traditions. Other black granite stone deities include: Sri Venkateswara & Padmavathi from Tirupati, Lord Shiva & Parvathi, Subramanya, Navagraha, from Mahabalipuram, Swami Ayyappa brass idol from Tamilnadu and beautiful Ram Parivar, Amba Matha & Radha Krishna marble deities from Rajasthan.

It is one of the biggest hindu temple in central texas. This is Ganesh temple and also having Balaji, shiva, ayyappa, durga devi etc.. murthys.

I have been here when my friend called me upon for a drive to this place... I was hesitant but went through... I loved the place, so pleasant, almost a mile away from busy highway area...The only thing still wonders me is the place they choose which is quiet away from both Dallas and Austin... Do stop by whenever you are driving through...P.S: the calmness, peace of mind you get over there made me go there again...
