Such an amazing place to learn something new! So many cool activities and interactive settings. My younger daughter loved it as well, lots of cool scenery and sights.
Due to Corona, some things have changed. First, buy your tickets online. Youll have to schedule your visit to accommodate for social distancing, & of course wear a mask. Theyre not taking the lobby pictures (with the fun backgrounds) for now. The deck over the ray tank is closed as are the viewing bubbles. And there are no animal encounters. All of this is for human & animal safety and cleanliness. However, its still a lot of fun for people of all ages. You can view sea creatures in specially designed habitats and check out various exhibits. The tunnel is the best! The whole place is long enough to keep you entertained with the variety, but not so long as to wear out small children or those who have difficulty walking (its also wheelchair & stroller accessable). Take water & take lots of pictures. Enjoy your visit!
I think it was a bit expensive ($65 for 2 adults 2 kids) but I dont really care. We went here for my daughters 3rd birthday and everyone (including Dad who hates being out of the house) had an awesome time. I wish the in tank bubbles and other viewing areas were open but stupid covid has ruined that option for now. As you can see though they have a great collection and awesome ways to experience them. (Im missing the coolest places in my pics cause I took video there instead)
Sea life is really well done with nice, attractive, interesting exhibits. However, it really small and quite expensive for what you get. We definitely took our time (several groups moved past us) and still finished in 40 minutes.
We came here while visiting family in town and took my 2 year old nephew . It was in a mall so I didnt expect it to be big. Ticket prices were $15 I felt they shouldve been less then that considering half there stuff in the aquarium was closed due to Covid. It was was cool seeing all the sea animals . The best part was walking on the glass and the animals were below swimming . Also it was a little hard to keep 6 feet from others.
Went to Sea Life Center on Father’s Day with the Sea Life/ LEGOland tickets. For social distancing they were letting one family in every 5 mins and had lines on the floor that reminded people only one family at a time at each attraction. Problem with that was it was up to each family to have the respect for others and to watch their kids. Which unfortunately doesn’t always happen. Almost most all the photo opportunity spots were closed and the play place was closed as well as the area where you can touch the fish. We still had a good time and enjoyed the aquarium. But just like my review of LEGOland we probably would have waited if we had known a lot of it was going to be closed. But overall had a good time and want to go back when it is all opened.
Awesome customer service and a very good price. This small aquarium is perfect for the little ones. Theres plenty to see without having to walk too much in a huge park. Definitely recommend planning around one of their demonstrations (like shark feeding). Also, bring some spare change is you want a penny souvenir (51 cents eqch). We finished the tour at a slow pace in an hour an a half.
We had a great time here. We loved that there were cute passports to stamp at different stations. It was very cool to see the information displayed on touch screens to learn about all of the different specimens in each tank.We came during the covid outbreak and I was very impressed with their efforts to help keep everyone clean and socially distanced. There were hand sanitizing stations in almost every station, and the door only opened to enter every 2 minutes.
Great little aquarium! Great place to bring toddlers. Really fun place!
Our kids love it plust they doing great things for sea life
We absolutely loved it! We were sad to miss the sea turtles and there were not as much sea life in the touch pools as usual. We went to celebrate my daughters birthday with a few of her friends and they really enjoyed the bubbles you could stick your head in to made you feel like you were in the aquarium with the fish. I loved that it is so educational. DeFINitely fun!
Great spot to go entertain the little ones for a good hour or more. Highly recommend getting the annual pass its only $50 and it includes Legoland across the hall. I take my son one weekend to the aquarium, Grandma takes him next week to Legoland, next week his Mom can take him again to Legoland. He loves those places and we paid 50 bucks once and we can go as many times as we want.Pay a little more and enjoy the fruits of your investment
This is a very fun and nice pace to visit you forget your in a mall. If we lived closer wed buy the membership and visit a lot. The passes are good all day so you can go through grab lunch and come back. The gift shop has reasonable prices on most things. Watching the fish and other creatures swim by is amazing. One of my favorite things was watching the sea turtle swim over our heads. At the rays tank we found them very funny stand there long enough and they notice you. One even showed off for us swiming up the sides and going over backward and coming back and doing it again and again. There are even things all throughout to stand in so you feel like your in the tank with them. The amazement on my daughters face made it worth every penny. She loved the things to stand in and having the fish swim around her.
My kids love this aquarium. It was clean and not too crowded. However, they only have the family restroom open which makes it difficult when you have young kids who gotta go but the bathroomnis already occupied.
In the Corona age this place was kind of like a ghost town. It was nice though. A peaceful quiet walk through the exhibits. I was a little sad you couldnt walk up on the pier over the Rays, but other than that and the touch pools being closed everything is pretty much the same.
Amazing facility to take young children and explore. If your kids are over 3, its worth it to check out the Legoland across the hall and do the upgrade. You can walk through in anywhere from 30 min to an hour.
When I realized it was in the mall I knew it wouldnt be full scale. The kids liked it but was disappointed they didnt have much to do as things were closed due to covid. I feel like we were in line waiting to get in (which it should be a better process)than the time we were in the aquarium. I was given a gift card for this place and if I had to pay for it I wouldnt unfortunately.
My family of four went to Sea Life and had a pretty good time. My two year old loved being able to pet some of the fish and play in the water. Saw the mermaid and took some pictures. Youre able to see everything in about two hours. It was enjoyable, but not worth the general admission fee.
My children enjoyed theirselves! Beautiful! Davita was super helpful and kind.
Cool huge walk through, glass bottomed tube inside an aquarium that completely surrounds you with the fish mere inches from you. Hands on meet & greet starfish for the kids and pop up viewing ports for the little ones. Location allows you to access the mall for a side order of shopping and lunch.
Nice place to spend some time with kids. It is very small actually. It can take less than 10 minutes to see all.
I bring my 1 year old about once a week, we have the membership that was only $30 for the entireyear for both the Aquarium and Legoland Discovery next door. She enjoys herself without it being overwhelming. It only takes about am hour to tour the aquarium. The reptile room is my new favorite! I always just walked past it but was drawn in this last visit.
A favorite pick for my 6 year old. Much less overwhelming than OdySea. Awesome tanks, and a walk through tunnel. Lots of sharks, Rays, turtles. Right now there is a mermaid expo where you can see real life mermaids swim in the big tank.
The kids really enjoyed themselves! Theres a lot to learn if you take the time to go through the Fin Facts. We got through the whole exhibit in less than an hour, which disappointed me more than the kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. My kids ask questions about everything and it seemed like someone was always right there answering as soon as the words came out of their mouths. We had a blast!
It is our first time at Sea Life Arizona. We purchased an annual combo pass. It was great. There are so many species. It also has a playground for kids.
It doesn’t have a large array of sea life mostly smaller fishes, cute sting rays, jellys and seahorses. Walk through tank is nice though love the sharks and turtle and the little pool where you can feel shrimp and sea urchins and other small creatures I liked it it was fun. But don’t expect so much
Loved this place! Very entertaining and interactive. My kiddos always love going to see all the colorful fish.
My fiancé and I went here with our 1 1/2 yr old son and we had a blast. The staff was super courteous and very informational. Knowledge is key and they were all spot on when it came to answer questions about the sea life. Sea Life is picture friendly which is awesome!!
Great for the kids love the best customer service
A solid good time. Great, diverse display of sea life. I think someone of any age will enjoy and appreciate the tour.
Love this place! The jellyfish exibit is my favorite.
A place where you can see sharks and many fish in Arizona. Although its not that huge, but has so many creatures on display
Unfortunately werent able to go in because they were not accepting cash. Just be sure to call and make sure ahead of time.
This place was hours of fun! I loved the addition of the legos so that I could still get the Legoland experience (since adults without children cant attend LL). At Sea Life, the clarity of the glass made the experience all the more interactive and immersive. I could tell from start to finish that this place is well cared for, the sea life/ animals are loved, and it just added to the warmth and joy of the visit. The staff was spectacular, attentive to detail, and educational. 5 thumbs up! If youre in AZ, this is a must visit attraction. Thanks Sea Life! I really enjoyed my visit! #fun #thrilling #happy
Great summer adventure! Got a good deal on a combo annual pass! Took our time and got through it in an hour and a half!
Cool place to take the family. Very child oriented which is great, they have scavenger hunts, interactive stations, and points where you can surround yourself with fish, sharks, stingrays and more. It keeps them active and entertained while learning new things.
Use work discounts or promotions to visit otherwise its a bit pricey. Good amount of displays and variety of sealife to enjoy for a good hour or less if you dont really interact and take it in. Best part is the dish tank tunnel where you can see fish above and under. Pretty cool!
I loved this place! Our granddaughter is not quite 4. She was able to see everything, touch starfish. Listen to in-depth explanations of some of the sea life. They also have a large play area afterwards.
For a mall aquarium it has a lot to offer. Lots of beautiful and colorful fish. We spent some time finding Nemo and the gang. There’s an interactive pool where the kids can touch some of the creatures. And pledge hand sanitizer through out. Lots of interactive information and conservation info combined to make a fun experience.
I absolutely love bringing my little here. This place has many gorgeous animals and is super kid friendly.
We love when we can get a chance to visit Sea Life. We love seeing the exhibits. The kids really like the touch pools and the LARGE tank they have there with the large manta rays and sharks!
It was so much fun and education for my nieces... They had a blast .... Awesome time for all of us...
Cool place. So much cheaper if you have a AAA membership, only $11 per person.
Was a wonderful time and the social distancing was great
All of the interactives were closed down. My 5 year old nephew just walked through the whole thing. Would have been a nice warning when paying that the activities were closed.
It was nice for the price I expected more but the kids loved it. Would we come again no but still had some fun. You can walk thru it in 30-45 minutes
Awesome place if your buy your tickets online they are cheaper I saved $9 dollars in an adult and child my total was $28. Tons of cool looking sea animals. Fish, sea turtles, sharks, sting rays, and more. My favorite are the seahorses.
This place is awesome. I recommend this place. You get to see all types of Sea Life. Its so relaxing and fun. I cant wait to go back.
Great aquarium, very nicely set up and arranged, had a great time. They have militaryvdiscounted tickets for $10.
It wasnt that crowded. Its that people werent following social distancing or protocols on floor. Plus they were cutting in front of us while we were waiting for others to leave.
Today was my birthday and i went and let me tell you.. I had an AMAZING, AWESOME time here!! It was sooo freaking fun and I learned so much stuff. The staff member had to be THE NICEST staff members ever!! I highly recommend everybody who hasnt went to go!! You wont regret it!
Great way to spend an afternoon. It was bigger than we expected and the staff was very nice. Totally worth the annual pass.
This was a little pricy in my opinion. However this place is very well kept and they have many different species. As an adult I enjoy this very much!
Nice place for kids, you will spend one and half hour. Its regular size.
Fun day for the kiddos ! I used the groupon
This place is another great place for kids!! You can order online and get a discounted combo price for legoland and this place, and they are directly across from each other in the mall so theres no extra driving. Theres tons of sealife the kids can look at and touch etc... they have feeding times on the brochure and there are very cool viewing areas in a number of the exhibits. Not huge inside. You could walk end to end in 10 mins but with 2 kids we spent 2.5 hours in there and it was never boring. We even got to see them feed the sharks! Very cool place to go!
It was a wonderful experience and my family and I really enjoyed it ! Well definitely be back! And we met a mermaid!
We spent about 2 hours here and had a blast. There’s lots of “Dory” and “Nemo” fish to make kids happy. The starfish petting zoo is really cool. The kids loves running all over the ship and sting ray tanks. There are lots of tanks where kids can pop their heads in and be surrounded by fish. The tunnel is absolutely amazing! The play zone at the end was a let down compared to Legoland’s, but the rest was super entertaining.
Loved the bubble windows and all the learning activitys the kids can do. Tablet Pad at each aquarium so you can learn more. Great atmosphere inside. Touch center. Feeding of the sharks. Plus a small play ground area. Decently priced gift shop. My daughter had a blast. Love/Hate that you have to schedule date and time to go but see why. We went through sea life twice to get our moneys worth.
First time going and had a great time. This place is great for kids, my daughter had a blast and was able to get up close to all the tanks. They have a few interactive exhibits as well like touching a star fish or sea urchin. You can also redeem your receipt for $5 entry per person at legoland next door if you bring your kid. Totally worth checking out!!
1st time visit... It was amazing we love the fun facts signs and how acknowledge the staff is and how well they were ready to answer all of our questions. Great experience for all ages Ill be coming back for sure with my family again and with friends.
Its a mall aquarium. Its not going to be real big, but they have some really cool exhibits. Pretty clean. If youre from around the area and are looking for something to do, it is definitely worth going to. Staff was polite and nice. I dont recall there being anything to drink, so getting something before you go in is a good idea.
This is a great aquarium for littles. My three-year-old and I come here all the time with an annual pass, and it is very peaceful and perfectly sized for her. Today we had an especially good time observing and petting little snails, sea urchins, and hermit crabs under the guidance of Nicole. She was a shining example of how helpful it can be to look at sealife with the help of an environmental educator, who points out interesting things the creatures are doing. We love this place and look forward to many more visits!
The fish are some of the most beautiful Ive seen.
Such a fun and affordable place to go on a date or take the kids!
Weve been here a number of times. Thoroughly enjoy all the water creatures.
First time coming here, we had low expectations because its an aquarium in a mall. Brought our two kids and my cousin and her boyfriend from out of town. We had so much fun. The layout of the aquarium is planned out very well. Your staff was really nice and talked with us as we walked through the different exhibits. We had so much fun. We will forsure be back.
It is alot fun to do..
Fun for the kids with a nice selection of sea life. I like how they have info on each fish next to each display. Fun for the kids to find each one in the tank. Goes by fast so make sure to slow down and enjoy each display.
Nice place. You can walk through in literally about 30 mins. Not worth the individual day prices. A membership is the way to go.
Clean and great display of underwater animals.
We were in and out of this place in about 30 mins. It’s very small. There are a lot of cool fish to see but you can only stand and look at fish for so long. We got to touch some sea life in the tank and listen to info from 2 educated employees. Overall a decent trip but not worth going repeatedly.
This is a nice way to spend a couple of hours with the littles. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, and the animals are gorgeous. If you are expecting an experience like tye aquariums in Atlanta, or Denver, you will be disappointed. However this is a good experience.
Sharks, seahorses, and rays! Oh my! Great selection of wildlife, well displayed. Touchscreen information centers all throughout. Great place for kids too.
I went to the aquarium this weekend for something fun to do my friend and I did everything possible that was available after your aquarium and enjoyed every moment. Nothing like seeing beautiful sea life we are scuba divers so it is really neat to watch the Dolphins and the Penguins just love it thank you for taking such good care of them. To everyone reading this if you havent been to the aquarium go enjoy it and if you go on Groupon you can get different discount coupons
Fun place to take the Grands when visiting!
I went in not expecting much and was surprised how well laid out it was. Definitely worth seeing.
Had a Awesome time!
Nice aquarium. Would be great for younger kids. My kids which are 11 and 15 still enjoyed it though.
Very cool place. Lots of fish to see and learning materials are plentiful. I’d only say it’s a little pricey for the size of the place.
Very impressive for inside a mall. Annual pass includes Lego land. Very reasonable!
A few things are closed due to social distancing/cleaning.
(AZ Mills location, 02/07/2020, 3:15pm)Had a great time with my kid and everyone was nice except for the guy in the entrance where you purchase or show your tickets he was very rude and not only to me but the other customers behind me. He didn’t hear what I said so he yelled at me to repeat my self and that kind of kills the experience when you have rude customers service from the start.
Well structured aquarium. Designed for smaller kids with bubbles in most of the exhibits that fit our 6 year old just right. They have a diving challenge with 8 stations so the kids learn about the different types of creatures. If they complete all 8 they get a little prize necklace/medal. Great overall but not as long to do as Legoland. Still with the add on package to do both events it was very worth it to me. Total time was from 11am at Legoland till 5pm exiting the aquarium.
Its a small aquarium, but my son absolutely loved it. Theres a nice variety of fish. The shark section is really good. The staff is nice and happy to share information about sea life with you. We will likely get the season pass since my son loved it so much.
I like the aquarium however prices have doubled since last year. Its a nice little aquarium but without discount tickets I dont think its worth it. Also, it always very hot in there!
We enjoyed our visit so much!! This aquarium is designed for kids, the tanks are low so the fish are eye level with them. The rooms are decorated so well! It looks like youre in the Amazon, the walls look like rocks and theres fake plants and trees everywhere. The tanks were very clean, the workers were extremely friendly. It was easy to navigate with our strollers. It took a little over an hour for us to get all the way through. We got almost a 50% discount on the ticket price with a Phoenix zoo membership.
Not the best I have been too, but its definitely cool to bring a young kid to.
So much fun! This place is way bigger on the inside with so many cool experiences for kids of all ages.
Loved it alot of fun for the whole family kids loved it
I went twice in one day the staff and place is very nice and clean
This is an aquarium in a mall. So older kids will probably be bored quickly. But the staff is amazingly kind, and the entire place is very clean and all of the sea life look happy and healthy.
We did a staycation in that part of Phoenix, it was a great experience very informative and educational. We really liked how they set up the aquariums the exhibits were all very neat and we never seen large sea horses or white sea horses before. Super glad we came to see it. We really loved the visit and time we spent there. We highly recommend. And for sure we will be going back. Thank you
DO NOT GO HERE DURING COVID TIMES! You need to buy tickets and select an appointment time but the time is not enforced. I scheduled a 1:30 time and literally waited 45 minutes before walking out of the line because I still hadn’t entered. Absolutely ridiculous waste of time.
Took my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary it was so fun seeing all the stingrays and jellyfish would go again
Kids love the hands on stuff. We got to touch some sea creatures which was kool. We reallt enjoy the tunnel where it make you feel you part of the tank with the fishes, turtle, and sharks. Great way to teach and have fun all at the same time. I would recommend this any families looking for some fun.
A whole new world....
Best place fun experience!
Was bigger then I expected and we had a great time. Just wish there was more hands on exhibits.
