Know before you go: this winery does not provide any discount/comp on tastings if you purchase bottles. Tastings as just shy of $30/pp. We joined some friends here, personally I stay away from wineries that do this. Now to the wines. They have a good selection of generally unique wines. A tasting flight gets you 6 and you will find yourself wanting more. I enjoyed the whole spread of their offerings. The service was great, the location was great.
At first, I was a little turned off. The line was long. But I waited and I was glad I did. The atmosphere is borderline therapy for how calming and chill it was. I somehow got into a conversation with the two girls next to me and they were some of the best companions I could ask for. Nothing out of line, just very meaningful conversation with a stranger. Like how it should be.The craft beer I ordered was great! I had 3!! I also ordered a batch of stuffed mushrooms. They werent exactly what I was hoping for. Ive been a chef for years and I like the filling to have bread crumbs and peppers to give it a real fulfilling flavor and satisfaction. I was expecting different mushrooms. Like possibly portobello because they have a huge cup to fill with a nice mixture and great surface area to melt cheese on top. Plus, these had a bit of a kerosene taste?? Im not exactly sure but I got a faint flavor of gasoline like taste. It was not really tasty. Obviously it wasnt overwhelming but there was definitely a tinge of something kind of bitter there. Possibly fermented mushrooms but I would think they find a way to filter this out. It seemed to have a lot of grease that was most likely a mixture of a high quality oil and the juice from the ingredients but I could have done without that extra also. So, I would avoid the mushrooms. Im willing to go back and try the other items but 3 beers and one appetizer/entree for 60 plus and Ill have to really make sure my selection is the best.
The only wine I will drink. Thats all I have to say. We visited the winery for a birthday celebration. What a beautiful winery. The staff is excellent here as well. The outdoor seating is nice and accommodating with beautiful views of the vineyard. I am happy to say that I will become a member just so I can have their wine readily available at my house. Definitely worth the drive to relax and wind down after a long day at work or just a place to relax at on a beautiful Saturday. Youre my #1 Miramonte!
Awesome winery with artisan food options for everyone. The sangria was tops and the Cali Burger delicious. Our server X was patient and a pleasure to talk to through his mask. Definitely a must visit for the ambiance.
Where do I begin? Love love love this place. It’s amazing beautiful and relaxing. From the decore to the ambiance to our waitress. She explained the wines throughly and answer every question we had. She knew exactly what I was looking for to satisfy my pallet. We were seated in the cabana section of the winery. We just loved the treatment. I understand every winery visit is different. You can expect wine tasting to take any where from 30-45 minutes and that’s exactly their time frame and you have to leave. Aside from that, it’s a great place to go wine tasting and I would highly recommend this place. I would go back anytime. Happy camper with my bottle purchase.
Miramonte has a good variety of wines, most of them being appealing for my pallet. My favorite aspect of the winery is the chill atmosphere, outdoor seating, and the occasional band/DJ. They are also open much later than most other wineries which seems to be a big selling point for a lot of visitors. Most of the staff is pretty chill, but there are some who are a little rude, and sometimes pushy when it comes to wine sales. It would be nice to see them expand the outdoor area as well. Overall, I would recommend.
Omg such a beautiful winery had wonderful time here. Amazing service if you live fruit in your wine this is the place. The winey is so smooth absolutely love it. will be coming back here very soon.
Such a great place! The staff was the best since we arrive from another winery we only other the delicious fruit sangria and hoop boy! Was amazing!Even we have the chance to meet with the manager in charge and the services was sharp! Best team ever! The views are stunning and the place is really great!Highly recommended to Reserve a cabana!Well comeback for sure!
Very Classy and friendly atmosphere. The personnel made you feel very welcome. It is a great environment.
Good food. Pretty good view. How ever not kid friendly due to the lack of space. It was really just a restaurant.
It was nice..had a pitcher of sangria with my daughter...food was good
Really poorly managed. The server casually brought us tastings, he was new and very nice but we sat empty for a few minutes between wines being brought out... no big deal. But all of a sudden the server brings out 2 glasses at the same time and asks which bottles we would like to buy. Someone else comes by and tells us we’re at the one hour mark, we need to drink and leave. We asked if there was anywhere to get a glass before we left or even food, the answer was a simple “no, sorry”. I’m at a winery, I don’t understand the business model of not letting the customer enjoy, or drink more wine?
My husband and I have membership here and we love coming here for the pass year. The staffs are helpful and attentive.
I will never return to this place. I cannot believe that I waited 45 mins to sit in 100 weather with not one person to come and give us our prepaid and reserved wine tasting. The cushions were soaking wet and had hair all over from the people before, it was not cleaned or disinfected at all. Everyone sat around us and AFTER us were all served. $120 what the heck!! Worst thing I have ever paid for.
I didnt know what to expect when I arrived at Miramonte. Youre seated at tables on the terrace that are at least 6+ apart. The food was delicious and as always the wine was great. The food was served in paper on top of tin containers with plastic cutlery. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had an awesome time!
My family and I were so excited to celebrate my sisters birthday at Mira Monte Winery. We are all club members so we were stocked to pick up our bottles and redeem our tastings while enjoying a birthday lunch. Collectively we spent hundreds of dollars at lunch that unfortunately ended on a sour note. I gifted my sister a very expensive beautiful balloon bouquet that was sitting by our table during our visit. Towards the end on our lunch an employee (I believe he is the bus boy, young gentleman with long blonde hair sporting a halfway pony tail) ran into the arrangement while holding a pen and popped the most expensive balloon of the entire arrangement. My sister approached him and told him about what we saw and he proceeded to deny having a pen and popping the balloon with it. Our server Molly H said she couldn’t do much but only offer a free glass of wine (which we get anyways with our membership) so the birthday girl said she was ok and didn’t want it. I asked an employee (Trevor) for the manager and he said he was in the office and could get him for me. A young girl (blonde wearing her hair up in a pony tail, who I believe was maybe a server, standing behind Trevor) said very upset “but it was an accident” and shook her head then I said “wether it was an accident or not, I paid for it and now I need to go spend more money to replace it”. She continued to shake her head as she made her way to the office to get the manager but first made a stop to speak to the young guy that popped the balloon and our server Molly. After waiting for quite a while Luis, the manger, finally showed up. Not only did he have a sort of arrogant demeanor he did absolutely nothing to try to save us as customers. He even mentioned that there was no way of him telling what really happened so he had to be fair and listen to both sides of the story and proceeded to give us the cancellation of membership steps we could follow to cancel our Mira Monte membership.I would’ve been happy with an apology but they couldn’t even give us that. I left a note for Luis with my contact information saying “I will give you an opportunity to review the footage and figure out what really happened here is my contact information”. I will wait for Luis to review the footage and get back to me, I will update this review if he ever does. I promise that something as simple as an apology would’ve gone a long way. We left extremely frustrated and disappointed. They definitely lost us as customers.
So for the last three Saturdays I have been going and I have had such a great time I purchased a membership. Relaxing, great staff, atmosphere just awesome.
Worst customer service!! I came for my birthday and had the worst experiencemy family has been a club member for years but that’s over
Busy, but staff wearing masks all the time. Despite the changes due to COVID-19, staff are still friendly and accommodating. Plenty of outdoor seating spaced over 6 feet.
Had a wonderful time at this venue. We had lunch and everything was so great. I ordered their blood Orange beer and salad. Great views and I loved the outdoor covered seating with misters. It was over 90 and I couldnt even tell. ANOTHER great dog friendly place. I brought my little one with me. Overall, I recommend checking them out on your wine tours.
Great spot to hang out in Temecula Wine Country. Good selection of food. Wines are decent, and the views and fantastic.
Called 5 days before to make a reservation for today and was told I didn’t need a reservation; just walk in. So today, I drove two hours to get to Miramonte and was told I couldn’t be seated or even wait for aTable because the place was fully reserved. What?!? Was simply told sorry and no recognition of trying to accommodate their own mistake. What a terrible customer service experience.
Food and wine are delicious here. After coming to Miramonte Winery, we dont care to go to any other Temecula winery. If your order the sangria, make sure to ask for the champagne that comes with it, it may slip your servers mind.
Excellent service, our server Brianna was wonderful, very attentive. This place offers excellent food choices from yummy flat breads to tasty wings. Lots of seating areas with beautiful views. The staff was amazing! Connor was a pleasant server as well. Glad we had purchased bottles to enjoy which were served right to the table. Will deff come back and recommend.
Horrible experience. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they do not judge according to the color of skin but it sure did seem like we got the run around every time we asked to be moved to a shaded area. Every time we asked to be moved there was a new rule that was created for us but broken for certain types of people. Maybe it’s just coincidence that there were groups of people clumped up in one section. Either way the experience was horrible because the hot sun on metal utensils and wine do not go well at all. Definitely will not be going back and I advise you don’t go either unless you’re a certain type of skin color.
Disappointed with the view, or lack thereof. No heating components.(fireplace, propane, etc) The potatoes were burned...yulk.
Miramonte is such a lovely venue! On Sunday, 7/26/2020, four of us checked in with the hostess, and she said it would be a 90 minute wait. Our place was confirmed with a text. We came back to the winery 90 minutes later and waited and waited (never received a follow-up text). After 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting, the hostess seated us.We ordered 4 glasses of wine, and 2 appetizers. Their flatbread pizza is DELICIOUS, I must say. One of the appetizers was served after about 15 minutes. The other appetizer, six mushrooms, was served 10 minutes after that. And finally, after more than 30 minutes of waiting (appetizers were all gone) our wine arrived. Geesh!
Very crowded. Did not take social distancing seriously and the wines were only ok.
Not the same since covid sumac salmon had been my favorite dish for years but today the salmon was like sushi not cook throughly and Ceasar salad was old ..guess I gota find a new place now..
Really tasty food at their bistro and the wine is top-notch. Weve been members for years and they never disappoint.
Slow service its better to reserve in advance.
This place offers excellent food choices from yummy flat breads to tasty wings but a bit pricey.
Great wine, just a little too busy
This is probably our favorite winery. Beautiful winery and atmosphere, friendly service, great wine and food. ️
Thanks for serving us in that heat and these weird times this weekend! Shout out to Kumal for wine tasting and Trevor for Dinner.
Excellent service, great wine, definitely try the Sangria!
Great service and our sever Byron
System overwhelmed but no apologies from young staff.
Great wine and delicious food.
Came to this winery after leaving Callaway just down the street and walked in to a live band, a large and lively crowd and a good but overpriced charcuterie board. The bistro overlooks Rancho California Rd. and near by hills which made for a pleasant view to have with our wine as we sat by balcony. To my understanding this Winery is one of few that stays open late so be prepared to walk into a rather large crowd past 5 or 6pm on a Saturday night. Overall, had a lovely evening and will most definitely come back.
Food was good just very limited.
Awesome place with fantastic views of the their winery. They serve beer on tap as well, kinda pricy but thats how wine is right? Enjoy the view and the wine.
Beautiful place.
They say they close at 6pm. Dont bother going they stop service at 530pm. The manager was very disrespectful talking to me with his sunglasses on. I asked him to remove them and he said I already clocked out. That was very very disrespectful.
Great food, friends and sangria! What more can you ask for?
Our server Rob was awesome!! Place is busy and super fun!! Food was delicious and yummy!!!
We were there for my friend’s birthday. She joined the wine club and reserved two cabanas for us. I highly recommend joining. We got two free bottles, 10% off food and 20% off wine. Our bill was super reasonable for 12 people. The charcuterie board, pizza & mac & cheese was delicious. The wines were fantastic. The view of the vineyard is stunning. The service was flawless. We had Cody as our go to waiter and he provided everything we asked for quickly and with a smile! Highly recommend this location!
6 Cheese Mac was amazing!!!!! Service was fast and friendly, will definitely be back!
This place was overpriced for the quality. The wine was good though.
Leo was an amazing tour guide. First time at a winery. The wines were great and the time they spend to teach you is impressive.
Great food, great atmosphere great wine
Great setting! I want drinking this day (others in my party were), but good reports about the wine.
Had a blast! Thank you Rob for making our lunch a memorable one ♡10/10Looking forward to the restaurant getting that espresso option ;)Burger was amazing. Perfectly cooked.Truffle dessert was more than I could have hoped for.Thank you to the very nice server with the perfectly done eyebrows and beautiful nails for reccomending it (sorry, I didnt get your name).
I truly enjoyed our VIP tour with Chris. Not only is he sweet he’s also super funny! #happybdaychris
Great wine. Good ambience and food.
Winery tour in this place was much much better than those of Napa valley. Most of wines I drank were perfect.
Lunch and wine tasting at Miramonte was a delight. Glad to see someone in Temecula is successfully producing high quality wines and food to go with them. Charcute and rose were winners. Beautiful deck for sipping and noshing. Excellent and knowledgeable service. This should be the model of others in the area.
Been coming for almost a year. Every time the wife and I come its always a blast for us. We always come during the more slow days since the weekends are CRAZY! The wine is amazing, the food is amazing, and the service is usually on point.
Update: even the delicious brunch food can’t bring me back. We came for brunch (now the fourth or fifth time), and each of our 3 items came out an hour late, each 15min apart, and cold. Apparently they are using a different trailer kitchen for brunch, which doesn’t work. Also, brunch doesn’t have coffee. In my mind, coffee is necessary if you’re going to call it brunch. The weekend brunch: foodwise pretty much the best brunch around. Every item we’ve had has been top notch (avocado toast, bennie, biscuits and gravy, wrap - all the best), but the few times we’ve been here the service has always been lacking. The team just isn’t that friendly, forgetful with requests. But the food is worth dealing with that.Winery: medium. There are better around the area.
Good ambience! good food! brunch is not a buffet the servers are not efficient you have to ask for refills bottomless mimosas not!!!!
Very nice
Nice foods, drinks, and vive. Highly recommend!!
It was a beautiful day. Nice atmosphere
Its okay. Busy on weekends. Unusually had valet parking (plus some standard spots) to accommodate the crowds.
Really nice winery, really good food. Had a great time, will be coming back.
Good vibe and views, fun and knowledgeable winery tour, delicious tastings. Would highly recommend spending an afternoon here. @dreadlockwineo was our food pairing/tasting tour guide, thanks for a great experience.
Love going here with my friends for a glass of wine!! Great service
Great wine. Employees are really nice. The flatbread is amazing and the ambiance is just great. I have visited Miramonte several times with different friends and they loved if as well. Parking is limited but the wine is worth it.
Great tour with great guide. Chris gave us generous samples as we walked the grounds, and again when giving us ideas of food to pair with different wines. Very obvious Chris was knowledgeable about wines but always talked at a level I could understand. All around informative and fun 2 hours.
Great wine, service, entertainment and views!
The music and atmosphere was great. We were invited out by my husbands co-workers. I tried a Sangria and it was nice too. Never had wine before. I plan to go back again. Very nice place.
Love this place! Everything about it is great!
Beautiful place and wonderful service! We had 3 generations coming together and it was amazing!
Great bartender. The cab was amazing. Very fun atmosphere with the live band and lots of people on the dance floor
The staff is always nice and polite. Theyre friendly, helpful and the food is really tasty! I love the ambience and they have great live music on the weekend. Their wine is delicious and my husband and I are wine club members. We love the sangria! Red and white are both great!
My family has been in the wine business for over a century. I had heard of Temecula and I wanted to check it out. This winery was close to the highway. The staff was very amicable and knowledgeable. I tastes some red and white wines. The panorama of the vineyards and mountains is also great.
There wines are decent and they are open late, but they are far too busy for the parking, the size of their tasting room and the number of servers that they have. Service here is one of the worst I have experienced at any winery in Temecula. On the positive side, they have a great view and their Sangria is very refreshing on a hot day, but overall I would skip it.
Beautiful location. Dog friendly for those wanting to bring your FIdo. We were soooo disappointed they stopped their reservation-only brunch buffet. Now its just another typical first-come-only, crowded, pricey plated menu. Of note for vegetarians, the menu places emphasis on pork and meat products - I am not sure if theyd do exchanges for vegetables or fruits instead without extra fees. If you come here esp on weekend, be prepared for the huge crowds that will affect your experience from parking, to waiting to get wine/tasting, to getting a table, to food service, to atmosphere, etc.
We stepped out of traffic and found this nice place on the side of the hill in wine country. Live music, wine and a really nice bread plate while sitting out side. It was a nice Friday night.
Everyone is so friendly
My family has been in the wine business for over a century. I had heard of Temecula and I wanted to check it out. This winery was close to the highway. The staff was very amicable and knowledgeable. I tastes some red and white wines. The panorama of the vineyards and mountains is also great.

We used to love this winery. The patio is beautiful and its a fun space to hang out. Now it is WAY TO CROWDED. It is impossible to find a seat and the overcrowding makes it difficult to enjoy the space. It also appears to overwhelm the servers and I dont blame them. Miramonte needs some serious crowd control, then I would be happy to give 5 stars!
Miramonte was beautiful and the 7-wine tasting tour with paired appetizers was very enjoyable. Our guide was personable and understanding when our Groupon voucher wasnt opening on our phones at the beginning of the tour and waited to check it at the end instead. I wished the food would have been slightly more substantial for the price, however. It was a lot of wine on an empty stomach for me personally. It was also a bit difficult to find our way out afterwards as there are many winding hallways to various courtyards, so a touch more signage would have been welcome.
