Was brought here for my birthday. Amazing service at the restaurant & tasting room. Greg at the restaurant gave us informative suggestions on what to order at the tasting room once we were done with our meals & delicious cheese cake the he also suggested! Yum!! Everything tasted great then our server Sarah at the tasting room stole the show! Excellent Excellent service from both Sarah & Greg. Just had to join the wine club because of the quality of service. Hope to get her when we come back. Thank you Sarah & Greg!

Customer Service is always good for us. Only reasons for not giving 5 stars is because of COVID rules, so no tastings. And the food is pre-packed in small portions, so u cant ask for more of anything, including condiments.

Came here for a wedding reception a while back and never knew this winery was here since its far from the others.Service - Great service here with great friendly staff.Venue - Very clean and well kept up buildings and grounds. Lots of areas to take pictures and great views.Food - Food was great as Im not sure if it was inhouse or catered from a outside vendor.Drinks - Great tasting wines and well made cocktails from bartender.Rception room - Great size with plenty of room for a large group with plenty of space in the dance floor to dance.Parking - Lots of room to park unless its a really busy weekend.Overall great experience and recommend for people to check it out.

Nice place, but had to wait 20 minutes to get sat and another 10 minutes to get service. Food was good, but overpriced. $27 for a charcuterie plate with no bread. Bread was another $5. Probably wont return.

This winery is absolutely stunning. Both on the inside of the venue and on the outside. Literal perfection. Amazing atmosphere and service. Highly recommend this winery. Had so much fun!!! Cab franc was my favorite! Enjoy!

Thank you Avensole and your amazing staff for making a birthday brunch with my best friend so memorable, intimate, sage, yummy, and overall beautiful. I made a reservation a few months in advance for 11 am. I was seated quickly and they have a two hour sitting time. We ordered a bottle and their large charcuterie board which was filling and excellent for chatting and munching. They even brought out a bday sweet treat to make my best friend feel extra. Totally appreciated avensole. I would highly recommend. The grounds are beautiful. We walked around and if we didn’t have to drive the tasting rooms outside looked lovely and inviting! Perfect girls day. Thank you

Ate lunch and the food was good, did not taste any wines other than the Chardonnay, which is not from the Temecula valley thank god and was ok. Scallop appetizer was awesome!

Great service the lady that service was very knowledgeable she knew her wines very courteous very clean and an unbelievable scenery with gorgeous chandeliers inside. Plus the wine and the sangria were fantastic

Awesome winery, delicious wines from whites to reds. A wonderful atmosphere, and quite beautiful environment from the inside to the outside. A wonderful outdoor space for seating, fire pits and music. The restaurant has absolutely fabulous food from their brussels sprouts to their salads to their salmon to their pasta dishes. The service was excellent and I can’t wait to go back again.

I made reservations to wine taste, when we arrived we were sat in the outdoor seating which was very well covered. When the waitress arrived we asked to do a wine flight and we were told that tasting were done only in the tasting room and that we could order a glass or go to the tasting room. Since this was our first visit we wanted to try a variety of wine so we went to the tasting room, when we got down there we were told to go and look for a table and if one was open we could sit and have tastings. There were no open tables and no one in a hurry to get up and no one regulating how long everyone was there. We were told we could wait till a table opened up but we were also told we could leave and we were given a winery map and dismissed. This customer service was not ok, first when making a reservation it should be told that you cannot do flights and that you are making a reservation for a restaurant and not for wine tasting. We left and went to Bottia which is one of our favorite places because customer service is amazing. To be so dismissive to customers is not ok. I get that the wineries arent hurting for business but who know what can happen. We will probably not return to this winery. My husband and I have been trying all the different wineries so that we can choose one to join a wine club, guess this will not be one of them.The grounds are pretty but customer service is lacking.

Newly revived on the Rancho California Side of Wine Country.Avensole is stunning setting.Im giving 4 stars as the food has been hit or miss for us, that said, its improved each time weve been, and will hopefully bump up to 5 stars soon!The tasting room is stunning, with oversized glass walls exposing the firmentation tanks on display for visitors along with a contemporary wall displaying their wines.And, lets not forget their beautiful shaded pond side patio, perfect for lingering over a glass with friends.

Restaurant has great salads. The restaurant seating is centered around a water fountain and makes it very relaxing to hear the water while you eat. Nice rolling hills view from all tables too.

We just came here for lunch with some friends as we were exploring Temecula for the day. The atmosphere and decor is all very nice and we were able to eat lunch on their patio, we just had to wait an hour to get seated which was a bit odd since only half the tables had people sitting at them, but whatever. The food was fancy and tasty, but a bit pricey for what you get.

Hands down the best place for dinner. The Tomahawk steak melted in our mouths. Evelyn, our waitress, was absolutely amazing. She recommended wines to taste and took really good care of us. When we go back, were going to ask for her to be our server again.

Great wine and food! Went for our anniversary and enjoyed a table on the patio with live piano music. We had a Brie appetizer and Lobster Mac and Cheese, both delicious. Wine is a bit pricier than other wineries in the area but is very good. I would return for another visit.

My new favorite restaurant in wine country! Love the indoor/outdoor feel of the patio. So light bright and clean. They have an open kitchen which is rare to see in this area. We went last night, Friday, for dinner. There was no wait for a table. We picked our spot which was cozy couch-like seating near a heater and the guitarist. The music was great..Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Tom Petty, and the like. We opted for beer instead of wine. They have a great selection of SoCal local beer on tap. They even have a cocktail list.The staff was very accommodating. Nick was a great server. The food came out right on time. We shared calamari and short ribs. I think the pictures speak for themselves .Highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful scenery. Great wine. Amazing food. The wine tasting menu was to die for! Food was so yummy and huge portions. Just dont go to the restaurant if your in a hurry. They make all the food fresh so it can take a bit. Get the Brie appitizer!!

I can’t gush over this place.My fiancé had the the smocked house burger medium rare (as all meat should be) and I have the sweet corn shrimp plate . I must must say delicious and our waiter Gregory was so on top of everything. Bravo Gregory you where amazing!

I really wish I tried the food but my friends and I came for wine tasting. We weren’t impressed with most of the wines, we did like one red one, the last one on the tasting menu. The tasting is pricey (25ish). The vineyard is very beautiful, outdoor seating, pond, and live music on Saturday’s. The restaurant is huge and food looks amazing. Got to only get dessert and it was pretty good. We’ll come for the food next time.

Beautiful venue. Amazing views all over. As a vendor for a wedding, they can make things easier. Heard the same from the other vendors as well. They force you to have that silly 1 day event insurance, and almost go out of their way to provide nothin for you. I was prepared, but even a small table to put my setup on for the ceremony was too much to ask. It is a beautiful venue, but bride and groom had their issues with them too.

For a first time trip to Temecula, we stopped by Avensole Winery and were blown away by the obvionce and welcoming of its presentation. Everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable about the various wines and what to recommend. A big thank you to Jennifer Rinner-Capps for taking great care of us and making our visit to this place truly memorable. Avensole Winery provides the same great experience you would get in Napa Valley or Los Olivos without the extended travel. Definitely will be coming back soon.

Pretty winery with a great viognier (2018 grace note). The fish tacos with bass were delicious. Warm hummus great on a cold day. Ashley offered excellent service. Thank you!

I did the Photobooth for a wedding. Such a beautiful venue! The staff were super nice and the food was fantastic! I’ve had a lot of “wedding” food and theirs by far was the best I’ve had. I would definitely recommend this for a wedding venue.

Don’t go to the restaurant unless you have a reservation cause they will not serve you even with a ton of tables open WAY more than 6 feet away from others. Will not come back.

Absolutely loved the environment! The patio area where there is live music is cozy and was Not crowded. The tasting room also was great and Not crowded on a Sunday!

Need to improve on serving people who arrive before other people

We tried no wine but had a fantastic dinner. Waiter was extremely helpful and honest about items on the menu, steering us away from thing he thought we would not like. Dont know how their wines are but I Highly recommend this place if you want a excellent meal while visiting the vineyards. Reasonably priced for the quality.

Last night was our 30 year anniversary.Avensole offered a prix fix dinner.Our server was no where to be found when needed.Our used silverware was placed on the bare granite table instead of offering clean silverware, We had to ask for a steak knife, we had to ask for dessert spoons, we had to wait for a glass of wine.My Ribeye had loads of fat and sinew.Definitely NOT fine dining.Helpful, knowledgeable staff, very friendly, beautiful location, amazing food and the wine isnt too shabby either.

Stopped in for lunch. Decided on the roasted red pepper soup which was very good, just the right amount of spice and creaminess. Also had a glass of Grace note (white) which paired well. Would have given 5 star but I would have liked to of ordered a plain grilled cheese, not a lobster one which is whats on menu, chef said he would make but charge me same as lobster one which is a bit pricey and too rich for me to consume. Service was very good.

Weve been to Temecula many times and have been to many wineries. Most are friendly to very friendly and a great time is usually had by all. Came here to start our wine tasting experience for the day recently and to celebrate a special occasion. Our DESIGNATED server was Nick. I watched my sister stand 2 feet away from him for a good 15 to 20 minutes holding her empty wine glass and waiting for her next pour. He did not make one single acknowledgement eventhough it was apparent that he could see her. Another server came to offer help because he could see that she had been standing there for some time while Nick stood nearby ignoring her. Couldnt really taste anything after this because Nicks services left a bad taste. The wine will get you tipsy but its nothing memorable as far as taste and quality goes, skip this one! A lot of very nice wineries in Temecula with excellent staff and friendly people. People come to wineries to enjoy themselves and to relax, not to stand there and be ignored.

Great food and service! Highly recommend a reservation if you plan to go on the weekend.They have great options if you are gluten free and the environment is wonderful. Whether my husband and I just want to go on a little date or we have family visiting from out of town, we love to visit here for a great meal.

Beautiful venue for weddings or a chill spot for lunch! The absolute best and most friendly staff, they make you feel like a princess on your wedding day. Theyre easy to work with as a wedding vendor, clearly communicating everything in advance before the wedding day so that the bride can enjoy the magic! Our favorite thing about Avensole Winery is how photogenic it is...everywhere you look there is a photo opportunity. It would be amazing if you didnt have to track people down to get the next tasting. It took 10 minutes of standing at the counter trying to flag someone down to get the next tasting. Then before we even get it they run off to help someone who still has a full glass.

We did a wine tasting with John and he was amazing. He was very helpful with explaining all the wines we tried, including food pairings. On top of that, he offered great recommendations for local nightlife. Very appreciated by out of towners! He made our trip 10x better.Tip of the hat to John!

Since we joined in July weve been looking forward to coming back and eating in the members lounge. We made ressis and got turned around driving and were late for the 4:30pm arrived by 4:50pm and didnt get helped or ask to be helped for 10 minutes all the while employees walked by like we werent there.upon finally having an employee come to the desk she didnt greet us didnt make us feel welcome and thats disappointing because we have had such high expectations since being treated so well on our last visit when we joined the Discover wine club. Steve was our host when we joined and even sent us a card thanking us for joining the family. Unfortunately we didnt get greeted or treated like family or anything close. The bright side was the manager (Evelyn ) that helped us get seated and set up my account for wine club pick up payment~ And Nickolas who was our server were total opposite of the hostess- they were smiling, helpful and welcoming~ I realize we were late but it was because we dont live local and got turned around on the road. Its not my intention to blast anyone just make you aware of how your members are being greeted by the hostess. We absolutely loved our meals and the incredible views of your beautiful winery. I know everyone has a bad day, but that one person represents the face of your member lounge to meet and greets us. Hopefully that was just it, she was having a long day~

Every wine is truly different and so pleasing to the palate. Truly a great experience and wonderful wines. Lora, our sommelier, was knowledgeable and parred down my taste to find my perfect wine - Enchanté. A great day at a beautiful winery.

Wines were delicious and the service was very helpful for finding wines. We had a groupon for a wine tasting which allowed us to taste 6 wines. Very enjoyable!

We tried the restaurant at Avensole earlier this week for the first time with friends who are already members. Our dinner was great and so was the service. We decided to go back to the tasting room today and sample the wines to see how well we liked their varieties compared to other wineries we belong to already. We were very impressed with everything from the beautiful grounds, welcoming and informative staff, wine club options and benefits, and the wines. We ended up joining and then going to dinner again as new members!

Nice place and atmosphere but glass of wine way too expensive. Paid almost $50.00 for 4 drinks. Need more outdoor seating as well.

I love Avensole. I’m a bit bias though. I got married there. Everything went flawlessly. I’d definitely recommend this venue for parties/weddings. The wines are great and so is the food. Other reviews have noted the posh atmosphere and then complained about prices. You can’t have cheap posh. I personally don’t mind spending money on quality products (pricing is actually comparable to comparable quality in the area). The staff is nice also! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal. I took my wife on a tasting tour for a date night and we had such a good time. Ask for Emilie, shes a great guide and extremely personable.

Pet friendly. Wine is on the expensive side. Serves cocktails and good selections of beer as well which is a plus if someone in the group is not a wine drinker. Great outdoor eating area. Food was decent.

Avensole is consistently exceeding its expectations. The tasting room is always fantastic, whether it is being recognized by the tasting room staff or getting exception service from Lora, who is very knowledgeable about the wines and has had great recommendations of what to try! Thank you Lora! Also, up at the restaurant we have always been greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. It is quite a treat because the bar serves not just beer/wine but excellent hand crafted cocktails. This is our go to spot for happy hour! Bryan makes one excellent cocktail, and he is also very pleasant and provides great service. Thank you!

Let me begin by telling you the wine here is superb. On the flip side the service was abysmal. If I was a manager my first action would be to dismiss Scott . We were sized up and treated poorly by him. No wine descriptions, no recommendations, I felt as if we annoyed him . Tony saved the evening by giving us a little love, but overall my experience was disappointing thanks to Scott . To bad he didn’t realize we were very wealthy and prepared to spend some money,,,, don’t judge too quickly,,, sorry Avensole, Scott blew it .

We ate at the restaurant there, which was a patio setup with a lovely fountain in the middle. The food, especially the dessert, chocolate lava cake, was delicious. On the other hand, the view isnt necessarily of the vineyard and at night the lights could be lowered to provide a more softer atmosphere.

We were gifted a tour and tasting to Avensole- it was amazing! Our tour guide Jesse was amazing!!! He was so knowledgeable, he made the tour the best one I have ever experienced at a winery! Of course the wine was delicious and the winery was beautiful! I would recommend it to anyone in the Temecula area. Thank you for a great experience!!!

Food at the restaurant never disappoints. Hubby likes the wines. Service is good, and the grounds are great. Not a place for crazy bus loads of people. Wine tasting is $25. They do have separate rooms for parties of 8+.

If I could give Avensoles restaurant zerostar, I would. After doing a wine tasting tour my husband and I decided to eat at their restaurant. After being seated, we ordered drinks. We then ordered food. Needless to say, our food never came. We set there as we watched at least four parties who came AFTER us receive their food, and still we were never served. I hate to throw the race card in, but Im not dumb and I know what indirect racism feels like. We were the only black people there and the only people who were not served! We only ordered shrimp tacos and fish and chips. After waiting for about 90 minutes we finally got the point and headed out. We stopped to pay for our drinks and let the front desk cashier know about the experience, but clearly she did not care. Though she did not charge us for the drinks, she didnt offer to check into the issue, nor did she attempt to pursuade us to stay. I purposefully made the comment, Maybe they dont serve blacks loud enough for her to hear me, and she didnt deny that. Word of advice: If youre big on customer service, avoid Avensole! If youre brown skinned perhaps you should go where your business is appreciated.

The charcuterie board is worth the trip here alone. The scenery is gorgeous and the wine flight can get you some of the most varied options from whites to red that the winery produces.This is a great place for a date, however it is quite a decent price.My wife and I will recommend this whole heartedly!

We have been going to Avensole since it opened. Hands down, best red wines next to Napa in my humble opinion. We just love the atmosphere and the view. We have brought many of our friends here and they all love it like we do. All the servers are incredible. We absolutely love Laura and Steve. Havent had the opportunity to get to know the other servers yet, but we will. Great place
