We had a great time...We will return....The Setting is good... Staff was fun..Not pretentious.. Burgers were good...No we didnt do any Name Dropping... Aloha
The location of the Winery was very beautiful. Plenty of parking spots. Maybe I went when it wasnt busy but didnt feel the 100% customer service. Several wineries in the area spend a great deal of time to explain some history and the types of wines they offer. This Winery seemed more basic, get your wine tasting in and thats it. The red wines I did have were very good though.
Excellent red flight. Good service. Burger was a great pairing.
Love this place. Travel there every time on in the area. Very nice restaurant and wonderful wine tasting experience. Staff is very helpful.
Falkner Winery was the exact garden backdrop that I was looking for. Its absolutely gorgeous! But I ended up with much much more. The guests were all impressed with the delicious food. The staff is all amazing and the coordinator, Krissy, is SO GOOD! I didnt have to worry about a single thing - she made sure our special day was perfect, from start to finish, including coordinating my other vendors. She really is the best at what she does!
Lobster Bisque was delightful as was the service. Viognier was crisp but had bit of an aftertaste that I wasn’t looking for. For dessert, server brought their hot flaming lips with mulled spices which was AMAZING! Overall a great lunch!
Chet day enough good things about Falkner. My wife and I have visited a LOTTTT of wineries and this one by far has stayed my favorite due to the EXCELLLLLENT customer service when visiting their winery to their prices and mostly to their incredible wines. I ABSALUTLEY love Falkner and if I was asked to come up with “1” negative aboit this plave I seriously couldn’t do it. I even sent my mom a bottle of wine from here for Mother’s Day and now she wants to go when they Re-open. My family and I have been going to wineries from Las Vegas NV to Paso Robles, to Sedona to Temecula and this one has stayed my ultimate favorite and mainly due to their wonderfully friendly staff that always makes you feel welcome. Can’t wait to come back.
Huge disappointment. While not rude, server was definitely not friendly. We were there using a Priority Wine Pass and server offered something different than what was on Priority Wine Pass website. Other wineries we visited were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Server attitude at Falkner did quickly convince us to not buy anything (no problem - we bought a $90 bottle elsewhere). For anyone interested - Briar Rose and Bel Vino were wonderful experiences and more than made up for the poor experience at Falkner!!
I had a great time there. Reggie was the bartender and she was awesome. She was prompt on pouring and great conversationalist. The place was beautiful and I loved their indoor shop. The staff was super friendly and they have a great out space with a wine bar. Theyve got some awesome events I cant wait to go back to. I even signed up for their Crush Memebership. Wine was great and the Sangria was delicious. Plus they are DOG FRIENDLY, I took my little Boston with me. Overall great spot. They a wine tasting deal for 6 wines and you get $5 off a bottle, definitely worth it.
This review is for their restaurant, Pinnacle. I took my 87 yr old dad for Fathers day lunch. The food was not good. My dad had scrimp in spaghetti, I had steak, my friend ordered the fish. My step mother ordered scallops. They were good, not overcooked but only two on her plate for $16.00. My steak was a cheap cut, very chewy. I took it home for my dogs so it wasnt wasted. My friends fish was thin and dry. My dad scrimp on spaghetti noodles was dry too. The best thing we ordered was a small chocolate cheesecake. We split that between the four of us. Our bill was $109. I left a $20 tip. The service was very attentive however I wont be back. I expected a better quality meal but that was not what we were served.
Great wines and nice comfortable tasting room. Outside area is spacious and they have games to play. They have wonderful views for taking pictures. We enjoyed spending a couple hours there wine tasting and buying some of their great wines.
A must visit for wine tasting. The servers are highly personable and well educated on translating individual palates to what you will enjoy the most on their tasting menu. Not to mention all of their wines were all very very good to excellent.
The lady who helped us with our tasting was wonderful! She was so helpful with tasting suggestions, and even helped my mom, who is not a wine drinker, find something to love. Also, their holiday mulled wine is amazing!
Fun place with friendly service, delicious wines and panoramic views.
Awesome reds...Kristy and Reggie ROCK!!!
Always a great place to unwind and wine! Friendly service, great wines, and great open area in the back to enjoy the Temecula weather. And the view is also very relaxing. The Pinnacle restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices and that pair well with the Falkner wines.
Attended a wedding there. Beautiful venue. Nice wines. Would definitely visit again to taste more wines.
Wow, what a gorgeous view. The wine is pretty good too, but Im not into wine much. Our company winter party was here and Ive been here for a previous engagement, but if I were into wine I think I would come here often for the beauty and quiet. The food was good too, and the view from the restaurant was fabulous. Very nice and helpful staff, nice tasting are and cute little shop to browse, if thats your thing. Definitely worth a visit if youve never been here!
Have been going there for lunch and also to pick up member wine for many years. Have never been disappointed in the food or service. Just wish we lived closer so we could come by more often. Tina is usually our server and does wonderful job and Holly does a great job also. All of the staff we have dealt with are very helpful and friendly. We always enjoy ourselves. Thank you.....
Great winery. Good wine good people. We had our wedding here in the garden and it was amazing.
We had the pleasure of lunch and some wine at this spectacular location. Very reasonably priced both for the wine and the food.Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is only open for lunch. Schedule your visit in amongst the other tastings in this area. It would be easy to spend a few days tasting the food and wine of the valley.
We had such a great time with Teri!!! So fun to get a tour from a fellow Wisconsinite. The wine is fantastic, the views are beautiful, we learned some great facts and her humor made us feel right at home.
Outdoor games were a blast and the view was great. Wine was quite good! but wasnt actually the bottle we asked for. Taking off a few dollars seemed slightly shallow compared to stepping up and charging the price if the bottle requested; especially when other employees admitted hearing the correct request (we werent being sneaky cheap, promise!)
Nice location - group lunch in barrow room. Reasonable service and food. Needed a sweater room as expected was cool.
Really nice bldg with above average wines for the area. Great restaurant when its open.
Great small winery, cheap wine club membership, shipments every 3 months. Good discounts and a great restaurant right next to the tasting room.
We went here for my wife Birthday I promised myself I would be totally honest in this reviewThe food was decent and the wine is good qualityThe server we had was mean, mean, mean, my Wife and mother in law are Asian the server threw a serving tray across the room when we were not ready to order. Wow do I have to deal with this on a Birthday lunch. The owners need to understandThey are responsible for the actions of their obnoxious staff never again. We went there as aPreview of my Daughters wedding There is no way I would allow these people to abuse my Daughter the way they abused us.
This place is absolutely incredible! Incredible staff and most importantly incredible wine! I always enjoy coming back with my fiance and I will continue to do so! Great place to have a wedding, one of the best gift stores. Please you must check out and see!
Great place. Really friendly bartender (Casey) who was excellent company, gave us generous pours and even brought out an excellent cheese. Chef Kyle came out to talk to us - we werent eating there but he was extremely friendly and seemed very experienced for his age.
This place has been making great wine for a long time now. Theyre staff is always friendly. The view from their location overlooking the valley is really picturesque.
We normally go to another vineyard about 5 miles away. They were closed so we went to Faulkner because we have been there before for the Luscious Lips wins served warm with spices. We went back and had great views and another bottle of the Luscious Lips.
Great views. Decent wine selections. Extremely helpful staff to help you move along your wine journey. A little pricey. Do your tasting first before dropping the cash for your bottles.
Falkner Winery was the perfect spot for our big day!Krissy, the wedding planner, did a superb job on our wedding day. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, she was understanding, thoughtful, and dedicated to making our event go as smoothly as possible. She also answered all of our countless emails quickly.Loretta Falkner was also a pleasure to work with, from our initial email inquiring about our date all the way through managing our final guest count. Shes passionate about making Falkner a premiere wedding destination. Our wedding was on May 21, 2011, with the ceremony at 6pm. The sun set just after the ceremony finished, providing absolutely beautiful lighting for our photos. The food was tasty (highly recommend the carved beef), and the wine was even better. Their reds are a balance between old world and new world, and would likely suit any wine drinkers palate, from the casual drinker to the wine snob. The location in Temecula is nice too because it is close enough to the hotels in town, but far enough way that you dont hear any traffic. The views from the winerys balcony are beautiful too.Overall, my wife and I highly recommend Falkner for a vineyard wedding!
We came, we got married, we left! Oh, and there was an amazing party in between! Loretta and Krissy were great to work with! Could not have asked for more from them! The wine was great! We will come back for years to come to relive our best day!
Nice little winery. Ok wines. Nice back yard area with tables and games. Last time we were there we got rushed to finish because they were having a private event. 15 minutes into being there, they started collecting tables, chairs, and games while we still had a bunch of wine that we had purchased. I understand they have these events but they should have given us the heads up before we bought so many drinks.
Wedding was absolutely wonderful, well organized, staff was superb, food delicious, venue was absolutely beautiful at sunset and evening. Highly recommend having your event here.
Considering all the winerys in the area, this is good but not great. Nice service and great perks for wine club members.
This is one of the great boutique winerys in th valley. Will definitely go back again, great people.
Great winery! This place was so much fun. It is small and has 2 wine bars set up to get your tasters. It was fun to get Poker chips to place on the bars when you needed some wine. Staff was very friendly, and didnt mind we had already been drinking wine for a few hours and were a little tipsy. They laughed with us, and helped us purchase some great wine! They give you a $5 off coupon when you purchase the $15 taster, and lo and behold they had a bottle of sweet rose wine on sale for $8.95, normally $16... and the $5 coupon knocked it down to $3.95! We ended up rallying up some more $5 coupons and buying 3. Fun wall art and beautiful stained glass around too.
Great food, great service, clean and great wine i would definitely recommend
We were lucky enough to be married at Falkner Winery, where I found that Loretta Falkner to be an excellent business woman. We met with Loretta a few times, and never felt pressured. She had put together an excellent wedding package in which such items as lamposts and arches were included. We saved alot of money, which of course allowed us to invite alot more guests. I am sorry that you lost your deposit but what if 100 couples did that a year to a business? Upon signing a legal contract you know you are making a committment. p.s. We should have paid to keep the venue all night as our guests did not want to leave!
Great wine and atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We will be back again.
Falkner has the best wine club in the area. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
Amazing service, even better view. The food was great. All around winner
This was my first time ever going there loved it my sisters daughter in law set up the arrangements after my brother-in-laws funeral service everything was so beautiful thanks for the service Falkner Winery
Dog and people friendly. Well its the best winery in Temecula and the wines are superb along with the employees who are most gracious and friendly.
Twas a delight. Tasting was larger than normal and staff was on point. Live music outside and just a great place to relax
Fun tasting room. Gift shop is more complete than most. Pinnacle Restaurant is excellent.
Very nice had a great time and the service was excellent.
Great experience for the whole family. I brought the baby and dog and both had a great time.
Really great wedding venue. Our friends got married at sunset and it was absolutley beautiful. The staff has this down to a science. The roll out amd transitions were super smooth and flawless.
The absolute best! Unpretentious, amazing staff, phenominal food at the restaurant. The only winery in the valley I will go to. Reasonable prices for great wine
Really pretty! Try the Merlot there... And Chardonnay :)
We were in Temecula over Easter weekend for a wedding at Faulkner Winery and had a great time. The location is beautiful, the outdoor area where the wedding was held was very nice. The only down side to the whole experience were clean up crew. The wedding reception was still going on (had at good hour and half left) and the servers were picking up all items from the tables (water, salt and pepper shakers, peoples napkins, etc.). This needs to change. They need to wait until the reception is over in order to start picking up items from the tables, and not while people are in the middle of conversation or still enjoying the event. Not sure if this is standard practice there but I know I havent seen this before at other weddings.
Joining the summer fun & inviting all to come meet us. Clyde & Kline, Home Selling Champs offering prizes and give aways. The restaurant is beautiful and over looks wine country, they offer amazing dishes and the staff is very friendly. The winery itself is fun and has a rustic feel with amazing views and always a little breeze.
I was there for a wedding. Not super upscale, but not low rent either. It a pretty place for a smaller wedding; 200 or less.
Great wine and best customers service
Great wedding event!! The Staff took care of everything.
1st of all the wine is award winning. The hospitality is rewarding and the view is amazing.
Great atmosphere and location! The wines here amazing and tasty!
Very relaxed environment. Fun games and great food. Most importantly great tasting wine.
Excellent
Beautiful place, great servers, and mulled wine for the holidays!
Awesome wine. Fun atmosphere. They have Cornhole and other games to play as well
Friendly atmosphere with plesent dining area. Thanks wine was delicious. However as the dining room filled up the noise level became loud and a normal conversation at our table was strained.
We always have a great time here and love the wine!
The sangria was very refreshing, great family setting.
Enjoyable friendly place the bartender/servers are a lot of fun. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant has very good food.
We went to a wedding. It turned out beautifully. Employees were friendly and helpful.
I was a wine member for over a year. I brought my sister here for wine tasting. The red wines are ok but not worth the price. New Staff was not very friendly so we are canceling our membership.
Apparently they wont honor the website tasting price of $15.$20 is too much no matter what cheap glass they let you drag home.We spent $100 at PalombaToo bad rude manerless clueless bartender andsupervisorWe left a/out our goods or tasting or the Syrah I was obviously interested in.THIS IS NOT NAPA!!!
Great view and great service. Love the Hot Lips spiced wine
Skip the tour. Eat in the restaurant. Food is great! Wine is okay. Views are amazing. Glad we stopped.
The reason Im a club member - toured many (If not all) of Temecula Valleys wineries. I found that at Falkner I really do enjoy a majority of what they have to offer - old world wine stylings - dryer, food friendly wines. That, and some of the best club member service available (Holly, Im looking at you!) I just feel very taken care of there - when if I dont visit for months at a time. Special club member allocations and library wine selections, tasting parties, discounts on so much, and the Pinnacle Restaurant (best restaurant in Temecula). Just add a small resort or bungalows to stay for the weekend and the place would be heaven (Ill settle for just below heaven though)
Friendly and helpful staff. Great wine. I even became a member.
We Love this place. Good Wine awesome Staff and Restaurant is good as well
Went for a wedding there and they did a great job. Beautiful view good wine what more could you ask for
Lucious Lips Red!! Great wine. Love this place.
Always an enjoyable visit. Carolyn is the best !
The facilities look great for weddings and events. The tastings were good but I found the wine unremarkable.
The visit was on mothers day. The meal was brunch. I thought it was over priced. The selections were minimal and several of them werent cooked properly.
Best winery in Temecula! Restaurant is amazing as well.
