Love Heart Winery!!! Became a member, had to, the wine is just that good!! Plus the staff is super friendly and attentive to your every want. Go by and do a tasting. You will not regret it! Pictured is my husband and 94yr grandfather who had just earned his wine tasting wings for the very first time.
Love the wine and service. My sister and I made this place out meet up place. I live in SD and she lives in Chino Hills. Its dog friendly and all outdoor seating with beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Cheers! Keep up the great work
Amazing Wine! Great atmosphere and service as well. We got a great candle as well.
Hart Winery is one of the oldest wineries in Temecula and the first one on your left when driving down Rancho California Road on your way to wine country. Its a small operation, family owned & operated since 1980. We stopped in for our first visit on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in January 2020 and were delighted to find lots of great wine, helpful staff and friendly fellow tasters. You receive 6 pours for a very reasonable $15 (can purchase the Hart wine glass for $5) and the tasting room is open 7 days/week. We struck up conversations with wine club members who were incredibly knowledgeable about Hart wines and so supportive of the winery in general. Although the tasting room itself is small, theres a nice outdoor area with lots of seating. Theres no food here, but youre welcome to bring picnic food to enjoy with your wine while taking in the beautiful views.Hart is clearly focused on producing small runs of high-quality wines. We especially enjoyed the Syrah and Zinfandel. People raved about their flagship Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé, both of which were already sold out. But thats ok, we now have a very good reason to come back in...with some cheese, crackers & fruit next time!
No Heart here from Jim Hart So we we have been members for a few years, but honestly loyal patrons, wine dinners etc.. for almost 18+ years. We have moved out of California, thought it would be spectacular on a vacation to stop by. A dear friend gifted us a special bottle of wine and gift card to Barons market. This was a tribute to our beloved dog of 16 years. We arrived around 11;30 to Hart vineyard. We knew before tasting we should have a nice organic/healthy lunch before tasting. It was very lovely out, beautiful sunshine. A dear friend who has also since passed, her family gifted us a special bottle of wine in tribute to our loss. We opened it, enjoyed it with lunch before a tasting at Hart. we were planning to purchase as well, several choices to take home. All of a sudden. Rosalee came to our tableside, explaining Jim my boss viewed you both having wine not purchased here at Hart, btw its illegal. Hes not happy, its not allowed! Wow, ok I had no idea of these rules, Im very sorry, our dog as you inquired has passed 2 weeks ago, were on a bereavement tribute. I explained to her how sorry we were, not intended to breach etiquette or regulations. Could I please speak to Jim personally, explain my situation/lack of knowing??? No sorry, you can order only here from or menu, hairy eyeball. i honestly can understand this policy and concern. Guess what, I didnt realize i was breaking the laws. Well bottom line, Eloquence and regard was NOT AT ALL DISPLAYED, NOR GIVEN TO A VERY LONG-TERM CUSTOMER. I feel greed vs. kindness was the answer here. Very disappointed to see people we patronized for so long could just not meet us as human beings, all about the $$$$. We will absolutely not forget the disregard and low class outcome. Have nothing further nice to say, No heart at Harts !!
Been going there since 1992. Its great!
The tasting experience was delightful. Briann was very knowledgeable and attentive. Delicious wines. Such a lovely, low-key winery yet so well established. Not to be missed.
Enjoyed our quick visit to Hart Winery. Small, quaint, quiet location. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy a glass and the fresh air. Wines were ok/above average for the area.
Great wine, lovely location, and good social distancing and protocols.
Great social distancing in place on site for wine tasting
Having become a wine member there is no doubt I like their wine. Not much to say about the place it is small, kind of lacking the right vibe. The patio areas need some love, its just lifeless. Back to the wine...what I have found is later in the year the good stuff is sold out, sure wish I had more money to buy when released. As a member, Ive never felt to be treated any differently. I wait and get the look just like everyone else. Not sure why the staff offers such unwelcoming service. Hart I hope you are listening. In the end, I do love the boutique wineries the best. Try this!
Best wine in the valley, Friendliest staff. They will always have my business.
Always good to have a great time
A family run winery that has been in the same location since the early 1970s. One of the oldest in the Temecula Valley. As a wine club member for 30+ years, I am greeted when I come and treated like family, and I am not a local. They make excellent wine in small lots. And the prices are very reasonable. I am never disappointed. Come taste or grab a glass and sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the grape vines.
The best place to find great wine and amazing service. My favorite winery! Love their volcanic ridge selection!!
Were literary shoved aside when a regular wine club member comes in. She wasnt friendly or approachable to begin with, its OK w me as everyone has a long day but its a no no when she lighted up n moved our glasses aside when a regular that she known by the name came in. Regardless of our skin colour or we are new, it shouldnt be like that. Were to enjoy the wine as anyone else.
Love this place - simple winery but great people and great wine!
Some very good red wine flights
Attentive, knowledgeable sommelier. Great wine. I had the rose and mostly reds. I liked ALL of them. It was my second time here, but itd been years, and I now know a bit more about wine. Definitely would come back. Left with a bottle of mourvedre. Good spot for picnicing outside. This is definitely one of the smaller tasting rooms, but I like them for that reason.
We showed up at 9:20am on Saturday, as we walked in two ladies behind the counter looked at us like we were in the wrong place. I said were here for the wine tasting. One lady then said we open at 10. I then said your website says you open at 9am. She then said yeah, its been like that for a while. What kind of business doesnt even fix a simple thing like your business hours!?! I have a business - its not that hard.I didnt need the rude attitude, and I certainly dont need to visit Hart Winery ever again. Theres plenty of wineries, and many have polite staff -
A smaller boutique winery. The tasting fee is only $15 (at least Monday thru Friday, I dont know if the price goes up on the weekend) and includes 6 six tastings. The staff was friendly and the pours were generous. I tasted 6 reds and 5 of the 6 were heavier in tannins than I prefer, leaving an aftertaste that bordered on unpleasant. Interesting winery to try at least once and I will probably go back to try new releases, but I wouldnt go back for the same wines I just tasted.
Loved all the wines we tried but the Sangiovese was our favorite. I even loved their whites which I normally dont go for. Tried the Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé, both were delicious. Ended up joining the club and can’t wait to get our first shipment! Rosalie was super nice and knowledgeable, looking forward to coming back soon.
Decent wines at a fair price. Good staff and cheap tasting fee. Our favorite place so far.
Excellent taste. Wonderful environment! Great service! Love it! One of my favorite wineries!
Super friendly. staff great wine. Fantastic prices (and wine club).
Great tasting room. Atmosphere encourages conversations with others during tasting of quality wines. Will have to keep on list for follow on tastings of the new releases, Fun afternoon ! Stayed till close.
We’ve been coming here to taste for almost 2 decades. The wines are so good, and the staff is always willing to talk about the grapes, wines, etc. This isn’t a meat market, happy hour-type tasting room, it’s just great wine to enjoy.
Our experience was great very knowledgable theres a reason they get 5 stars.
Great wines. Friendly staff. Not at all snooty.
Middle of the day Monday wine tasting. Not a lot of people. The lady pouring our tasting was a little unfriendly but the gentleman was fantastic. Maybe it was just an off day. We very much enjoyed the wine. The view is lovely. We were slightly disappointed we could not keep the glass. All in all it was a fair experience but I will probably not go back.
Only average winery for tasting. Tasting area and staff very ordinary. Compared to other Temecula tasting wineries down scale. Wines also not very interesting. Staff didnt offer water for designated driver even when asked. Venue not suitable for upscale events.
BriAnn was so amazing, wine was delicious we did a tasting of 1 white and 5 reds for $15.00. A must stop on your wine tour!!
Wines were very good. I recommend 2016 Zinfandel for red and the 2017Arneis for white
Our favorite stop in Temecula. Really enjoyed to Cabernet Franc. Staff was attentive and provided good suggestions.
Delicious wines with an intimate setting.
Love this place. Breann is definitely an expert. One of my favorites!!
Great red wine and friendly knowledgeable team
Exceptional wines and the best staff! Always makes us feel like family. Affordable prices too. Whats not to like?
Great wine. Great pours. Great service. Bought a bottle of the reserve Sarah and we can wait to come back!!!
Love it, Love it, Love it!! OMG, this place was the bomb!!! What a beautiful way to start off my 58th birthday and my sons 30th!! Thank you for being there!! It was personsonbily and being so family oriented!! Thank you Rosielee for those impromptu lessons!
Went here two years ago and it was great. Small but family owned and very nice people. Spoke to the owner about his army service.
Great place. Small winery. Great service, great wine.
Great wine, great people!
A group of 18 of us started our Saturday Wine Day with Hart Winery, which easily accommodated a large group. The 6 tasting offering was the perfect amount to try a selection of their wines, and their staff was great and thorough with their recommendations. The vineyard scenery at Hart was beautiful and simple, but smaller than the much larger Callaway next door. I loved the rustic feel as the tasting room was in a barn looking building and would recommend this for anyone looking for a mom and pop type of winery with an intimate atmosphere.
Great Wines ... friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great for a quick taste with friends..
Loved this winery. Small, cozy and we had a lovely lady who served us.
Nice little winery to get away from the crowd of the larger ones. Friendly service. Good wines.
Best wines in Temecula. Outstanding tasting room staff - & experience.
Hart is my favorite winery in Temecula! The staff are super chill and knowledgeable. The wine is also my favorite in the valley. The let you picnic there, so it has a special place in my heart. The mourvedre is the best!
Awesome wines, great atmosphere for picnics, very helpful and knowledgeable pouring staff.
Great boutique winery! Family run and great to work with.
Relaxing. Great scenery. Great red wines. Brian was awesome friendly staff person who knows his wine.
Interesting syrah that won awards. You do have to let it open up, might be closed when you first taste it
Nice wines, friendly servers, unpretentious
Love the Merlot and Rose and tasting room off the cellar full wine barrels
All the wine is great! The servers are awesome, friendly and make it a true wine tasting experience!
Rosa lee and Breeann are awesome and the wines are great too.
Great quaint friendly and fun lil winery!
Lots of happy people, very nice place, spacious, great views, clean, great wines to sample, friendly staff. My wife wanted to spend the rest of the day there. It had also crossed my mind.
Great reds! Friendly service!
To Die For! Great people, Great Wine (No Im not related! - LOL)
Wine are good, especially love the Alsaice, white.
We enjoyed our visit to Hart, the staff were friendly, experienced and knowledgeable and the wine was very good. Its on our list of wineries to come back to.
IMHO, the best wines across the board in Temecula. Hart produces high quality wines in small batches (runs under 500 cases seem to be the norm), thus no sense entering in competitions. If entered, I think they would fare very well indeed.Hart is a small operating winery. It is not particularly geared to those who taste, meaning an afternoon (or day) of drinking wine with occasional snacks as are so many of the Temecula wineries today. It IS geared to making excellent wines, sold at reasonable prices (yes, the Aleatico costs $50 but its so good that that price is absolutely reasonable. Really). On a recent visit, we went to 3 wineries. No wine at the other two wineries was as good as, much less better, than any wine at Hart.
Easily the best winery on the Temecula Valley.
We have going to these guys for years. Great service and excellent wine.
Excellent wine, really enjoyed our tasting
Very good experience! Sets the gauge for the other tastings to come
Friendly staff. Great wine selection.
Excellent red wines!
Hadnt been there in years and kept hearing great things about Hart. Finally decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised.
Wonderful.
Small and family owned, just what we were looking for. Very friendly people.
