Beautiful place. My fiancé and I spent our date sitting alongside the lake with our picnic. Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful and a great community atmosphere. Its fairly safe for kids. I love knowing I can let my teens walk around the sidewalks and get some time outside. We saw turtles and ducks and just had a great time relaxing in nature. The landscaping is beautiful.

I used to bring my oldest son here 10 years ago. It was fantastic then and its still fantastic now. Great area to walk, play at the park, rent boats or feed the ducks. My younger boys love it too!

Beautiful lake to go for walks, relaxation, relieve stress, and nice play area for the kids. Air is nice and fresh, its soothing. Everyone there was friendly and smiled or greeted you when walking by them. My daughter made friends quickly. The lake has fishes and turtles along with variety size ducks. They have fishing rentals and paddle boats as well.

Its a really pretty park to go on a walk with your dog. Well kept area. Nice place to take pictures. Theres not that much walking. Its right outside the street. Not that much parking.

Very clean and pretty. We rented a large paddle boat and the people were very helpful, even giving us a cup of duck food. 30 min ride was perfect. Parking was fine, no problems at all!

Beautiful breezy park! The breeze coming off the lake is amazing! The side walk has lots of shade from big trees that spread over the side walk! Perfect for walks runs and pick nicks! Its beautiful! It will be especially nice since the temperature is dropping soon and people will make there way outside! Its. Not too busy right now which is perfect! We love it here and definitely will be back!

Pure joy. Peacefulness at its best. Early evening. Everywhere my eyes landed while scanning the lake depicted a story of wistful pleasure. Couple time, family time, quiet reading, new moms walking their babies, Dads getting the last hours of daylight with their kids, lakeside game night. Or... idling paddle boats, picnic dinner, ducks floating around near shore.Fountains spring from lake,a gazebo thats awaiting a SATURDAY WEDDING,a happenstance rainbow. All of this beauty and splendor is framed by adorable picturesque homes with seasonally decorated verrands, quaint furnishings a with rocking chairs or -2 - seat swings. Just cant say enough about my experience there. My guess its each day has a different experience,each timed for greatest joy.Did I mention.. the variety of4 legged friends to feast your eyes on while they wander aimlessly & happily with their owners? Theres a definently a furry feast for a petless observers eyes!

Fishing is only allowed with a purchase of a permit. This can be purchased online from the city of Temecula. For non residents, its like 40 something bucks for a whole year. Pretty much not worth it. The park rangers will come by and ask for it so avoid the risk. Otherwise its like a 55 dollar fine. We played dumb when questioned about it. The ranger was nice enough to give us a freebie for the day but dont count on that if you plan to do the same. Dude was probably in a good mood.

Beautiful Lake first time there

We dont live here but really enjoy walking and the playground very often. Very family friendly. Bathrooms are clean and the little convenience and coffee store is very nice.

Harvesting lake and community is so charming and relaxing. You will see lots of people walking their dogs, riding bikes, fishing or just walking around the lake. Perfect little time out spot to hang out for a bit.

The lake looked better than Ive seen in a long time. Water visibility was at least 3 to 5 feet. The bird population was down so that made for clean grass areas and walking paths. People were fishing and families doing Halloween themed events. Harveston in my opinion is one of the finest parks in the Temecula area. I should mention Im NOT a fan of the required fishing permit now enforce by the City, and that the two best sections of the lake are now zoned as off limits too fishing. I use to catch absolute hogs in the area close to the boat dock and along the wall next to the private events venue. Last but not least there is a nice little store with all the little essentials one could ask for. Make Harveston you next Saturday morning walk, you wont be disappointed.

I was visiting this area and stumbled along this beautiful location. I cant believe there is A lake in the middle of houses. It was the perfect stop to walk the dog or make a few laps for a morning walk. I had such a great time. The dog really like all the ducks. I recommend to anyone visiting this area to stop by and take a look.

Awesome lake to walk around. Its .75 miles to walk around the lake. You can also rent paddle boards. You can observe ducks, birds, and theres even turtles either swimming or sunning themselves on rocks. Theres a nice playground area there, for the children to play. Theres also areas to sit down or have a picnic. The houses that surround the lake are beautiful.

I love this place. Love watching the ducks in the pond, and walking around the walking path. Its a nice safe neighborhood.

It really nice to walk around. There is a playground and benches. They rent boats/pontoons for $30 per half hour. But I really would not call it a lake, more of an extra large pond. Keep in mind that this is located in the Harveston community with houses and condos. You can walk around the lake, have a picnic and take kids to the park, but you cannot use it visit the rest of the amenities.

Great place to bring the kids..and we get to ride our bikes and skateboards around the lake.also the boats are really fun!.and the people who run the shop there are top notch..dont forget the store.called beyond mart..great place and friendly staff and very clean

Need a facility for your reception, then this is the place. Theres a banquet hall here and it can hold up to 200guest. Comes with kitchen, bar, tv entertainment system. Its surrounded by the lake(which is gated)! There are many outdoor garden arbors flowing with flowers. Grass area is huge!

A remarkable community. there was 1 thing though. I thought the houses looked kinda close form my point of view. I like a bit more space and privacy.

Beautiful place, but there is nothing for kids to do, were from out of town and came specially for the paddle boats only to find you can only rent them on weekends. Nothing tells you that. We were VERY disappointed, will not come back again and from the looks and attitudes we wont be missed.

Its a beautiful, peaceful lake with mostly friendly locals. And there is tons of things to do at this lake. theres qpark thats really close and good for kids to play at, it has a store really close and good. My mom and dad actually got married at this beautiful place for events. People can meditate there and be at peace. The lake is pretty cool but sort of polluted but thats common so I give this location five stars.

Went to a wedding here in May. Great venue, with many rooms to operate out of. Only problem was that it had rained so much, the grass was really swampy in some areas. Beautiful pictures by the lake.

What a great local spot without having to travel, So Peaceful, With a great local Mini market With everything you could want including thriftys ice cream and flavored teas, You can walk around or ride your bike around the Lake with a kids playground and public restrooms.

When I went to Murrieta, so many people were talking about this place called Harveston Lake, it was pretty decent when I got there.Its a cool place to hang out and just chill, I think there are a few benches that you can use, not too many people were there when I went.Good place to chill and relax :D.

Beautiful place! Was nice to meet up with family and have lunch.Only complaint is a group showed up and fed bread to the ducks. They threw huge chunks of bread in the lake that the ducks ended up not eating so basically these people were over feeding the ducks and polluting the lake.Maybe have signs up for this, idk. But it was overkill on the feeding.

A great place to take a walk, jog, ride a bike, or a boat. We love renting a boat and feeding the ducks. Its always well kept and has restrooms on both ends. The kids enjoy the views and meeting all the dogs people are walking. There a nice park for the children. Also there is parking all round the lake.

Being from Canada, proper Canada with moose, trees and the industrious beaver not that urban nonsense, I found the lake left me feeling as if I was in a Chris Marker film. It felt immediately familiar almost hyper-real and yet sadly tamed, like a caged bear.

My husband found this place. He was looking around for a place to walk around at after our lunch date for our Anniversary.This park is just so beautiful and peaceful..The pictures online does not do justice. This park is nestled in.the middle of these beautifully built townhouses.Let me tell you, the people that live here are so fortunate to be able to enjoy the beautiful view everyday . There were many people walking their furry friends as well!This park was designed beautifully. I cant say enough of how impressed my husband and I were at how wonderful this place was. It was a nice ending to our already memorable day !Everyone need to come visit this park. What a hidden gem!!!

Cute little man-made lake in Temecula surrounded by townhouses and single family homes. Its very pleasant to walk around the lake. It takes about 20 minutes to go around and has lots of ducks and people even fish at the lake.

Harveston lake is a community of homes that in circle a man made Lake. The lake is beautiful and well maintained. It has ducks, goose and even turtles. Its a great place to have a picnic lunch because of the views. It has bike trails and even a little park with shade. If you are looking for something fun to do, and the weather is right. Harveston lake is a great place to spend your time.

The park at the lake is pretty nice. It has two small structures, one for younger kids, and one for older. Ample shaded tables and seating, which is nice if you want to have a picnic while youre there. It is right along the path that goes around the lake, so it makes for a nice pitstop if youre doing the walk around the lake. We came here today and fed the ducks and then played at the park. It was a nice time. The park is nothing amazing, but definitely fun and nice to have around.

Harveston is a nice community, the homes have a feel to them. The Lake is a nice place to go with the family or by yourself. I personally enjoy walking around the lake to burn some calories.If you enjoy paddle boating, they have Paddle boat rentals.

Great place to go and take care of the kids I do believe the city needs to get their head out of their butt and help harveston clean up that water is beginning to look like late smell some more Im afraid that if you stick your hand in there itll come back green the city ought to take care of it that damn thing need some circulation some aeration the water needs to be moved a little bit but theyll never do it cuz it cost too much money

Harveston Lake Park is absolutely stunning! Its an amazing place to go for a stroll with the family, a jog, a scenic bike ride, go fishing, rent a paddle boat, etc. They did a tremendous job with the landscaping & they were very mindful of residents using the area around the lake, when planning. Weve met so many wonderful families & regularly encounter pleasantly friendly folks while at the park. I would definitely recommend visiting Harveston Lake Park!
