This is one of the most stunning courses in Southern California. The layout is amazing, the conditions are perfect, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Its hard to capture it all in photos. If youre in LA or SD, dont hesitate to make the drive out here. This is truly a hidden gem.

[Thursday October 29th]: An overall well-balanced golf course. The area is stunning, tranquil, and quiet. The greens are some of the best Ive played in SoCal; Theyre very fast and well manicured. We had a 7am tee time, which this time of year is only mildly cold and the sun isnt quite up yet. Pace of play was very fast (not a single group in sight). Front 9 holes are beautiful, but the back nine needs some fairway work. The Bunkers only have a shallow soft layer on top. A few patches of brown in the fairway, but I never found myself in a bad lie. Very difficult greens, good greenside conditions, fairways are evenly cut and great in some areas, but need more work in others. Lots of wildlife in sight. Carts have old binary GPS, so youll recieve a yardage booklet with the map and details of each hole there. For $54, I will definitely be returning for another challenging round.

Great golf course that is quiet and free of freeway noises. You can always get in a quick 9 holes in after 4PM. The front nine is pleasant to walk but the back nine are hills and valleys. Greens and fairways are better than most courses in the area. Get the PM membership it is the best deal in southern California.

Really fun, but also some difficult holes. The course is in great shape for this time of year, greens are nice, fairways are also good. This is our second time playing in a month, the rates are good after 2:00 so well worth it.

Course is decent, with some interesting and challenging holes. No water to speak of, but there are a couple of ravines that you will need to carry. The below-average golfer will probably not enjoy the experience. I thought it was overpriced. The facilities are okay, but I found the bathrooms in the clubhouse to be in pretty bad shape. The course was in good shape though.

A very nice local course. NOT a course for beginners. If you dont have a handicap, or know what that is, you wont have a good experience. The front 9 is flat and narrow, between woods on both sides. The back is hilly. All the holes have traps and trouble areas. The electric carts are very nice and have GPS to tell you yardage to the green.Good food at reasonable prices from the clubhouse, which you can order beforehand, and have waiting on your way to 10.I lost more balls than I would like to admit, the course was over my ability. All the others in my foursome have handicaps (unlike me), and enjoyed the course but all thought it was very tough.I enjoyed seeing this Roadrunner and the mini Quail.

I have been playing this course for years. I have played it at least a dozen times this year. It could be in the best condition I have ever seen it right now. Not a really long course, but quite challenging. Fairways and greens are in great condition. I love the fact there is no cell service. For all the walkers- the front nine is very walkable. The back nine is challenging to walk. A lot of rolling hills and longer green to tee walks. Either way, I have walked 18 in 3.5 hours multiple times. Just play ready golf.

Awesome golf course in my opinion. Amazing location. Difficult and decently narrow, but not too long from the blue tees. If you have a 200yd iron shot then your driver isnt always neccessary and that can help drastically at Cross Creek. Course is in better shape than most for the price. Staff is very friendly.

A lovely golf course. The front and back 9 are very different from each other, and provide an excellent challenge. In the mountians with nature, so it is very peaceful and quiet. Very much reccomend this course if you happen to have the chance, as it is amazing, with the fair ways to the greens.

This is a challenging and interesting golf course with lots of bunkers and elevation changes and some water. It is tough but manageable if you pick the right set of tees. Unfortunately course conditions and management have varied over time. At one point the course was not getting enough water and was drying out. It was better the last time I played it, which was a couple of years ago. At one time range balls were included in the green fee. Then they were not, which was too bad, because they have a good range. The course is located in the hills outside the city. There is no housing adjacent to any of the holes. There are multiple tee boxes, which is good, because the course is no slouch from the forward tees and a monster from the back. When it is in good shape, I think it is the best course in the area. It is definitely worth a look.

The golf course is off the beaten path and tucked up against mountainous scenery almost everywhere you look. What I love the most is no car sounds anywhere! The courses itself can be difficult if your playing from the blue tees. If youre handicap isnt about 15 or lower dont bother playing from the blue tees. Think target golf at many of the holes. The greens are very true and can be sneaky fast. Playing earlier is a better choice because the winds can get a bit gusty through the afternoon. Price is fair. Cross a Creek is a common shot throughout the course.... So bring many extra balls in case your go into the creek areas... Hard to find errant shots. All in all Cross Creek is a fun, challenging, and a good mini get away from all the hustle and bustle. They have a small bar/cafe and a golf range to warm up before playing. A snack/drink cart and makes the rounds on weekends, but not sure about that on weekdays. Staff was friendly also! Its a definite play for the golf connoisseur. Hope this helps anybody thats considering golfing at Cross Creek.

A hidden gem of a course located 15 minutes from Temecula. Kenneth at the clubhouse was outstanding and by his demeanor, a great person. Great Golf Course!! Tucked deep into the mountains. My route required use of an awesome dirt road that wound through the mountainside. Very serene course with no holes running next to each other. BRING LOTS OF BALLS. Every hole is surrounded by brush which isnt worth searching and considered a lateral hazard. Stunning views and a handful of holes with fun elevation both up and down towards the green. Pretty good condition. Unusually busy for a Thursday afternoon but a good value. I will return despite the grumpy starter, Steve.

Horrible customer service! Played a 1 pm tee time on a Saturday and took 2.5 hours to play 9 holes. Way to many groups stacked to close together. Was told it takes on average 4 hrs and 20 mins to play 18. Why are they selling at a premium rate for 18 when there is not enough time to finish. Should be selling at a twilight or super twilight time. I went in to see about a refund for nine and basically was told oh well to bad! Horrible customer service. Not even a offer of a rain check for 9! I can play at a decent pace with a group of four in 3.5 hrs for 18. At the pace on this day 5 hrs. Never again. Situation could have been handled better!

The course was really fun and generally in good shape. However the marshall cursed out my buddy and I in the parking lot because we brought literally 2 of own beers from home and a couple of waters on a 100 degree day outside. Apparently this is a rule that is no where to be found on their actual website? Then as we attempted to walk away to our car to leave he followed us in his golf cart and continued to scream at us. Ive been playing golf for 30 years and 1. have never experienced a rule like this and 2. have never been close to treated this badly at any business establishment. The rest of the staff was a pleasure to interact with and made for a great experience. Its unfortunate that one horrendous employee can spoil the whole day.

Played here for the very first time. It is a beautiful course, Cross Creek will forever have my business. Very challenging, so be aware. The pro told me to play from a shorter tee than normal and that advice worked out very well. Also grab their course brochure from the pro shop. It has tips for every hole and were very helpful. This course is very off the beaten path and it so relaxing, very minimal cell coverage which I loved. This is a very affordable and the best course I have played in the valley. Check it out!

Remote location, quiet and peaceful. Played on a Saturday and pace was great. The course is in good shape with tricky greens. With the course layout being a big loop, more or less, you get a bit of privacy due to the absence of adjacent holes and lots of trees. If its your first time playing here I recommend grabbing a course guide from the proshop, which they offer for free. No problems and the gentleman in the proshop was very nice. CrossCreek Golf Club rated 4-1/2 stars: In its quiet, hideaway setting, where real estate is largely absent, CrossCreek provides a wonderfully challenging and scenic golf adventure. Provided housing does not invade the wide open spaces around the course and surrounding grass covered hills, CrossCreek will remain one of southern Californias most natural, dramatic and scenic golf courses, and the sound of chattering birdlife will no doubt be ever-present as you journey round.
