They definitely always do the extra mile to make sure that they’re customers are cared for correctly. The shop feels like home, they make you feel like family. I can’t recommend this place enough. Got my first pair of skates from here a couple months ago and had a small problem with them nothing that was their fault at all. They went above and beyond to fix it and we’re so nice/helpful every step of the way. Shop local y’all these people are awesome

Stopped by the pro-shop for new bearings. The ladies in the store was awesome and very engaging, we touched on several subjects and they have talked me into coming out to adult skate, one Thursday night in the near future. I will definitely be using them for all future skate needs.

Wasnt much of a skater back then. )They treated me great. Took time to talk to me, teach me some things, and had me feeling really comfortable in their shop.I drove there from Bradenton, over an hour away and will be returning.They also have an online store which is Rey cool

Went to the shop May 17th of 2020 during COVID-19. I needed some cushions for my old roller skates, but ended walking out with a new pair of skates! Mikey and Christina were very helpful and patient with all of my questions and went above and beyond, they made sure I felt confident about my purchase and even explained on how to maintain and do my own fixes and replacements. Friendly staff and adhering to safety guidelines during the pandemic. Lots of options to choose from, will definitely come back for accessories and wheels !!

I have never skated before, and went in to Skaters Choice completely uneducated and looking to by a pair of roller skates. The customer service was impeccable - the women working were extremely kind and knowledgeable, and my friend and I were fitted with two perfect pairs of skates.

This shop is fantastic! I toyed around with the idea of getting some roller derby gear online; however, I was concerned about getting the accurate size equipment and luckily a skate shop was within a reasonable distance. Soooo glad I went down! Christina, who works in the shop was so cool. She let me try on a variety of skates and equipment and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything skate related. I asked her a ton on questions and she clarified things i never even heard on youtube. I’ll be back for an upgrade on my outdoor skates!

I stopped in May 27th in search of some better wheels for my sure grip fame skates. Right now during covid it’s impossible to find skates or anything skate related. I walked in and spotted the new Jackson vistas and ended up buying a pair and also got the radar energy wheels and a few other small things. First of all, the building itself screams pure nostalgia. It felt so good to walk thru and “smell” my childhood! Even tho the place was empty with everything going on, it just made me feel good! Customer service was impeccable! She really let me take my time and look around and just be happy to be in public surrounded by so many dope skates! She also skates in the pineapple moxi Lollys so she’s already my bff I cant remember her name but she was so super helpful to me even while taking a million phone calls from people just like me on a hunt for skates! I can tell she’s very knowledgeable and so friendly! Thanks again, girl! The Jackson vistas are hella comfy!

Its a bit pricey but they offer a good selection and the customer service is good. No returns offered.

Awesome, knowledgeable staff! We especially loved Christine (I believe thats her name). She is very passionate about skating and taught us a lot and was a joy to talk to.My recommendation is to go during slow time. When the store is busy, itll be hard to get that quality attention.

Just stopped by for the first time today. I was there well over an hour asking them a bunch of questions and they were happy to answer all of them. Dont bother shopping for roller skating gear online if youre anywhere near Tampa. Skaters Choice really has just about everything youd need for skating, including things you may never have thought of (a leather carrying case for my VNLAs?). The staff are experienced skaters who knew all the places in the area where I could try out my new outdoor wheels, and I spent a sublime afternoon rolling in the sunshine.

Honestly I highly recommend this shop to any type of skater. Weather your new at skating or more expirence this shop has all the info and products you need. The representatives were so kind friendly and down to earth. They helped me with my skates and suggested some future skates for the style I wanted to learn. I love it
