I only went here to vote. The staff there made the process pleasant. As for the park itself? It looks very nice and the kids (all ages) seemed to be enjoying it!The parking lot is a little awkward, though.
This is where I vote and attend neighborhood meetings. Theres also a nice playground, tennis and basketball courts, a gym, aerobics type room, craft room, and lots of programs for kids. Im glad to have this resource in the neighborhood. If I had kids theyd probably attend day camp here in the summer.
This is a great park. It is always clean and has plenty of parking. There are alot of community activities available and the childrens program has been wonderful for my 7 yr old daughter. She even gets to play the violin for free. There are also free tennis clinics for kids. It is nestled in the beautiful but humble Lake Magdalene area.
My son wanted a park day. My husband found this cool park. Met the sweetest family there and it looks like they do an after school program there as well. Has tennis courts, play ground, big open field, and a nice table area
Love this place, although closed due to pandemic still able to play tennis, basketball and the kids can run around, thanks
Great park has water fountain tennis court, playgrounds, and lots of shade. Only thing is that the baseball field floods very easily and take FOREVER to dry out and stays muddy for days... needs more elevation and better draining
Nice little park, they have a big kids and little kids playground and swing set. Pic nic tables and pretty sure there was a bathroom right there as well. Clean and very shady so not hot at all.
Great little park. We visited on a Saturday morning and had most of the place to ourselves. There are two sets of playground equipment (one for big kids and one for toddlers) with several attached slides and a swing set.The tennis courts were being well-used and were the only part of the park in the full sun. Everything else was under a group of large oaks that provided wonderful shade. The biggest negative was that the bathrooms were locked, so if your little ones need a bathroom break, you have to head home.
Nice small park. My niece rented the one shelter which has the basketball court and playground nearby... easy to keep all ages of kids busy and entertained.
Nice little park with a tennis court, basketball court, and a baseball field. After school care is also here, and has a wide range of activities for the kids.
My grandson loves to go here and play on the play ground. Its nice and clean.
Much nicer than it once was. Programs are community based and inexpensive.
This is a nice park 2 play basket ball or 2 bring ur kids 2 play at
My daughter loves attending the after school camp. I couldnt have been luckier in finding Coach Kisha and Coach D. Two amazing individuals who are great leaders. Coach Jade is great with Fine Arts and the kids love her. Coach David is a great young man who interacts with the kids in an older brother regard. A lot of those kids, including mine, need that. Great team. Great location.
Very pretty. Well kept.
Ive only been inside for youth activities, but ot is a decent facility. Not sure what the outdoors area looks like.
Grew up here. Lit basketball court and tennis courts where you can set the timer for the lights. Which is great for the community. Keeps kids busy especially after the hours of usual park operations. Should be more like it. Maybe these poor youths who just want to live, have fun and be active would have more positive outlets to turn to to keep them away from illegal and negative things to spend their time on. Florida can get pretty boring for youths. If you dont provide them with facilities where they can be active in a productive and positive way, then even the ones that stay busy doing good things during the day, have a high chance of turning to the negative activities in the night as soon as those court lights come off.So thank you to the county for funding this amazing privilege of lit courts for the neighborhood kids to have something positive and uplifting to do to rid themselves of their extra energy. Instead of using that extra energy on dangerous things that can ruin their lives in a heartbeats time.I wish some important stats concerning crime commited by the same age group can be researched and compared by county officials against areas without such facilities so the positive results in the statistics (which I personally havent researched, but just by observing the amount of adolescents, males mainly, taking full advantage of these facilities after nightfall, that one can by reason alone can logically assume, almost fully confidently conclude even, that official stats would show a very noticeably and distinctly negative difference in felonies, as well as misdemeanors committed within the same age group that is known to use the recreational facilities after regular/ business hours in the communities where such facilities are not offered. At least I know, based simply on common sense, that I would, without a doubt, convictedly put my bottom dollar on the fact that this is overwhelmingly true. Unless the statistics are rigged or not conducted efficiently or conducted by incompetent or corrupt officials. Or a bit of all three.) can be found, highlighted and brought to the attention of the officials in charge of recomending the implementation of programs that would allow more sports courts to have lighting accessible to the community. We need to stop only complaining about how different, weird and bad this generation of kids are and start looking for the reasons they are being this way.Ultimately no matter how much we, the parents would like to and on most occasions most certainly do blame the behavior and attitudes of our children on outside forces like internet, television, schools, teachers, social media, bullying, religious or sexual concepts being rammed down our throats etc.(which are all pretty valid factors as far as destroying our youths mind, I do agree) At the end of the day it will hurt us, our legacy and the future of all human kind for generations to come if we dont fight all these things and do everything we can to change the way things are headed, then the bottom line is: It is our priority, prerogative to raise them right. And be better people that we have been. So we can show them the right way to be. We will want to blame everything and everyone. But truthfully, like for the death of jesus, we will only have ourselves to blame. We will be the ones consciousness enough to torment our existence with the omnipotently questioning ourselves if we did everything in our power to change the path? To break the cycle? To set things straight? And we know the question is only a poetic one. That practices irony at its best. For if we have done the things we should have, the question would be repugnant. These are the questions we know the answers for. But they are too difficult to answer. So we put them in question form and it gives us some comfort in the drama. The comfort of inevitability...But yeah. Its a greeeeaaaat park!!! I recomend it!!!
It was a nice neighborhood park. Small and clean.
The time of day that you are here will drastically effect your enjoyment of the park. When I have been early morning, it is fairly empty and quite enjoyable. When weve gone mid-afternoon, their after-school programs are generally occupying the basketball court and tennis court. The tennis court is in terrible shape, barely passable if you are attempting to play somewhat seriously. The basketball court is in much better condition. It is not a full size court and the rims are double rimmed, but still much more enjoyable. I have never really seen pickup games going on.
They lose your field trip forms at times a counselors dont care if your bleeding and you pay them extra for no reason and you get suspended for playing volleyball wrong and I was in kindergarten so I didnt know how to play volleyball and neither did my friend but we got suspended because we played the game wrong WHEN WE WERE ONLY IN KINDERGARTENDONT GO HERE
Who reviews a park???? This guy does!!!! Went last night to play tennis. Went to the electrical box to turn on the lights for the court and the timer switch doesnt work! You turn it on and nothing happens. Can someone fix this please?!?!
