Ive been a member of FBC for about 4 months and decided to start checking out the different locations in the Tampa Bay area. So far Ricks on the River is #1 as the best location to get a boat because of location and most important the outstanding staff at this location. I will definitely be boating at this location as much as possible. Huge thanks to the Ricks on the River Freedom Boat Club Crew.

We took a pontoon out of Ricks on the River, to go upstream with friends who had not been on FBC boats before. Ricky, one of the FBC staff, was very courteous and helpful. We had a great day and appreciate that the boat was totally ready for us when we arrived. Great service!

First, your staff made our day of boating so relaxing and easy. When we returned to our car we found lights had been left on, battery was dead and no way to open doors since its all electronic. We sat waiting for AAA.Then, LUIS to the rescue. He researched how to locate the key in the fob, unlocked the doors and jumped the battery with his truck. Talk about service above and beyond. Thank you Luis for saving the day.

Cant say enough about the cleanliness of the boats and the helpful assistance of the dock masters and dock hands. Luis at Ricks helped me change and plug a flat tire after we returned to the dock; he went way beyond just being helpful in his assistance. Thank you Luis! Great day!

Unfortunately the boat we were scheduled to use had a steering problem but the staff was able to switch us to another boat with no problem! If this had been my own boat I would have missed out on boating for the day and would have had a huge maintenance bill!!! Love Freedom Boat Club!!!!

I love this location! The dock master, talking about you Leroy, is the best! He is always available for any type of help you may need. Trust me, I still need help. They will spoil you at this location. Today was a great day on the water!

Dock hands are prompt and ready to help you. We were out on the river in less than 5 minutes. Awesome location to see islands, the riverwalk, and wildlife.

I love Freedom Boat Club. I love Freedom Boat Club Rick’s On the River location. Availability of 30 boats & staff make this a great location to take a boat out of. The staff is extremely helpful & nice. The boats are always ready when I arrive. Even though I am getting very good at docking the staff is always available upon my return to the docks, offering assistance if needed.

Freedom Boat Club is the best. Shout out to Robert Hernandez the dock master out of the Alafia docks.

My Wife and I currently own a boat and I can not tell you when the last time was that we took it out because Freedom Boat Club has completely changed our boating lives! We love the simplicity of using the boat club. Although I want to keep it a secret, I end up recommending it to everyone. I love the fact that the rentals can be used across the country.

Great staff, boats are always new, and impeccably clean! Plenty of reserved parking for boat club members.The location just cant be beat. Access to all the bars, restaurants and parks up the Hillsborough river, and just a few minutes to Harbour and Davis Islands. So easy to just jump on a boat and fish, booze cruise around the bay, or head out to mingle with other boaters at one of the barrier islands.If you are not a member, call them up! They train you on how to drive, navigate, and then give you access to their entire fleet. This club is amazing.

Always a pleasure to deal with the guys there! the boat was ready to go when I got there and when I got back they greeted me at the dock and loaded my car up for me.

We enjoyed our boating out of Ricks. The staff was very friendly and gave us suggestions on places to visit on the River.

Pickup and drop off were super easy. Boat was there waiting upon arrival and dock-master was waiting from me when I came back in. Awesome experience for our first time out on the boat at Ricks!

Great trip through Tampa, passed by docked cruise ships, hung out on Beer Can Island, saved some sinking kayakers, docked at River walk had lunch on patio at Columbia Cafe. Perfect day!
