Boy I have never had such an experience!! Pre-outlined canvas ready at your table, paint brushes, water and everything you need to start painting your pic, ha! The music which was played by a live D.J. just set the mood right. We had wine of our choice, sweet red for me. It was such a relaxing moment. The host dared us to come on the floor and dance, I wasnt finished with my pic so I skipped the dancing. I laughed hard at the experience because it was just that relaxing, just memorable. The actual owner came out to make sure we had everything we needed, she even cleaned our brushes and got us fresh water. We took photos individually and as a group. This was well put together and I want my next birthday or special event, heck anything Id say right here. I had a blessed time. A blast to remember!!

DISORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! (I provided proof via texts and ads)10/30/18 I reached out to Kelli about 12/15/18. She told me that the date was available at BOTH the Sugarland and Missouri City locations. Then, I confirmed with her several times that I would visit them both the following day, starting with the Sugarland location at 4pm and then immediately following to the Missouri City location.The next day I arrive at 4 with deposit money in hand. Right after the rep let me in, he called Stacy, the owner, and I could hear her saying 12/15?! Who told her that?! Those dates have BEEN booked! When she got on the phone, there were myriad excuses...1) oh we were running a special that ended today (i.e. the day I was there) and we MAY have had a lot of people trying to book online(OK, but didnt you JUST say the dates had BEEN booked? And how drastic is the lack of communication that I left a voicemail AND talked to an actual representative, yet no one followed up when the system updated with the supposed influx of bookings?)2) YOU could have submitted your deposit to reserve that date too.(not so, the only option for deposit specifically said NOT FOR WEDDINGS.)3) that was our representative...she should have known that those dates are booked(not sure how she would know. There is an apparent issue with communication despite your seeming success with two locations. Poor Kelli.)All in all, the owner never truly took responsibility for being so disorganized that they didnt even give me the common courtesy of a phone call. So, I drove an hour through afternoon traffic with money in hand just to have Stacy and her Centerstage staff waste my time. Is this what we get when we try to support black businesses? !smh.I will not recommend them for anything - EVER. Get it together.ANSWER TO OWNERS RESPONSE---Dear Stacy,Thanks for illustrating my point about your unwillingness to take responsibilty for your part in this foolishness! As for your reply...I never truly HAD THE CHANCE to do business with you because you dropped the ball. Additionally, i understood your ad quite well...it said i COULD NOT RESERVE ONLINE FOR WEDDINGS...please explain how many other ways exist to interpret the words YOU wrote. As for my tone, elevated yes and rightfully so, and at the end of the day, you did it so you earned this review and IT IS VALID.

The owners at Center Stage Gallery assisted my family tremendously when planning my Moms 65th birthday party. Ms. Stacey and her team were very detailed and professional. We will definitely use them again.Nowadays with everything moving at warp speed, its hard to find people that genuinely care about what others really want.Not only did the staff at Center Stage understand what we wanted, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our event. We highly recommend Center Stage Gallery if youre looking for professionalism and a company that appreciates your business.

First of all, its hidden in the parking lot behind Burger King. If you have an event here, make sure you tell your guest. There are no visible signs from Hwy 6.The layout is somewhat awkward and narrow. When you walk in, there is a decent size room. Then there is a narrow hallway with a small room and couch and a door that closes, but it has an open ceiling. We tried to use it for people who brought kids, but with the open ceiling, it didnt contain any sound. Then there is a smaller open area in the back and a unisex restroom. Bring soap and paper towels.The most important thing to note is if you are the first event, it will be HOT. They dont cool down the venue and it literally takes hours. Our event was in the afternoon and it didnt cool down until that evening as we were cleaning up.Overview: It can be beautifully decorated. However, depending on the amount of guest you are expecting, ask if the A/C can be turned on a couple of hours before your event.

I had my daughters Bridal Shower at Center Stage in Sugar Land, and everybody loved it. Its a hidden gem in plain site. In the beginning, we werent really sure about what we wanted or how to structure the event? However, after a few meetings with the owner and her team, they knew exactly what we wanted. All of our guests were genuinely impressed and our event was a major success. A huge thanks goes out to Stacy and her team, as the event was everything they said it would be. Wed recommend using their beautiful venue again and again.

Let me start by saying my last experience with this venue in Sugar Land five years ago met my expectations and Stacy and her staff worked well with me. Unfortunately I recently booked another event for this year and I booked with Stacy. I called several times before booking and each time I asked to check the availability for the specific date. Upon on booking the date was confirmed and my deposit was paid. A few weeks later I called back to inquire about early access and was told by Stacy that she would call back. She called back and explained that she had bad news and the news was that she had already booked the space for this date earlier on. I was very unhappy because my event was a month away and I’m left to find another place. She did offer another date but that didn’t help as my invitations were already sent out for my original date. I would recommend a better scheduling system because had I not called her I would’ve probably showed up with someone else double booked!Update***I’ve been waiting on my refund from Stacey Lewis since 09/04/19. She double booked the venue and wasn’t able to keep my original date. She refuses to provide a refund/cancellation letter to this date which is her way of keeping my money. Be aware before you book with her!

If they are faced with a problem, they hide behind emails and voicemail. Sad thing is my problem could have easily been resolved. Now I am fighting to get my deposit back. Err on the side of caution before doing business with this company. Read the reviews and make an informed decision before you pay a deposit. And also keep in mind just because its a good review, does not mean that it a real review.

I am so glad that my mom chose this place to host my 19th birthday party. Stacey, the owner was awesome and provided everything we needed. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. The place was beautiful. I couldnt have asked for anything more.

They owe money for the sign sold to them 11 months ago. Never paid.Their corporation 25/8 Management LLC dba Center Stage Gallery has been forfeited by the State for failing to pay franchise taxes. Stacee Lewis the owner will not return calls. Found 20 reviews showing where she refused to pay back deposits and refunds and more than 200 1 star reviews. Sounds like the worst place ever...

Party I attended at Center Stage Gallery was well planned. Decorations and food was fantastic! We really had a GREAT time! I recommend Center Stage Gallery to all of my friends! :)

I would Not Recommend doing Business with this establishment. They are very unorganized to say the least. Leaking roof. Dirty back area. The list goes on and on. If communication and professionalism is what you are seeking this is Not the place.

I thought wed have to cancel my husbands 40th birthday party after our previous venue fell through... then I found Center Stage. They were understanding and accommodating and flexible. We were able to pull off a great party and everyone loved the cool, artsy vibe of the venue! It was small enough that we could mingle with all of our guests yet large enough that no one felt crowded. Id definitely consider booking with them again.

Never do busy with this venue the manager is sad no communication at all. Stacie is the manager there don’t have remorse of her clients that she book and will not talk to you one on one u will only hear from her by texts ( maybe if u lucky ) a friend of mine book this venue and nothing went right. She had to even get toilet paper and napkins for there restroom, she book two party at the same time and had the nerves to confirm the party the day before. Just One Sad Black Owner.It dose matter you still didn’t satisfy the clients and now you rather go back and forward with me instead of calling the client and apologize for your mistakes. Very petty of you.

My event at the gallery was wonderful, and everyone had a great time. The owners Stacie, and Andres could not have been more helpful, and they made sure everything went smoothly. I was here for my Nieces Bushes Class of 2019 graduation party on Sunday, 5/26 and I truly enjoyed myself. Beautiful, spacious and inexpensively-priced.

This is a great place to have a good time with good friends and create your own personal masterpiece !! The instructor will walk through each step. Also very nice atmosphere,good music and appetizers and a little wine at times. A small art gallery in the back. I will make this my go to place the nice time I need some artistic inspiration.

The owners were late opening and closing the place. Stacy was rude. The ac never cooled off the area. Nice space for a small event but professionalism was nonexistent!!!

I would not recommend this place! Went there to an engagement party and the owner double booked with a baby shower! My husband and I had to wait on our car for an hour until the other party left and the hostesses can set up! Also, no cleaning crew to clean up between events! I felt very sorry for my friend because her special day was ruined!

I wasn’t planning on having a 40th birthday party and happened to walk into the Missouri City location. Stacy and her team were so warm and welcoming and instantly I changed my mind. The Center Stage team was responsive, accommodating, and professional. The Missouri City venue is a great place to have an event. Center stage literally has packages that make it so much more cost effective and I will definitely have another event here. I truly loved the fact that I didn’t have to rent items such as tables, linens, or chairs. And I LOVED that the space is so beautiful that it requires minimal decorating. Also I decided to get a DJ however they do have a great sound system if you don’t want to incur the cost of a DJ. My guests RAVED about this place and I guarantee anyone looking for a future event will NOT be disappointed!! Thank you Stacy for providing such a great event place where people don’t have to stress about the small stuff! And I look forward to many more Wine tasting events as well! I HIGHLY recommend Center Stage Gallery for hosting a memorable, private event in Sugar Land. I hosted two events there about a year and a half apart. The planning and coordination with the staff was professional and worry-free, leaving me confident and able to fully enjoy my guests. The venue is beautifully done, featuring art from local artists. I also appreciate Center Stage having equipped zones for my caterer, photographer, dj w/karaoke, and bartender, so that each of them had their own dedicated space to work. My guests and I had a FABULOUS time at both events! Thanks Center Stage Gallery! Ill be back for my next celebration :)

Great place to hols events and take crafting classes.

This place will get 0 stars if it was allowed. Stacey is so rude and unprofessional. She falsely advertises her space. I booked the special, 4 hours for $259.00 two months in advance, paid in full at booking. I requested an additional hour, quoted $75.00. No problem, I agreed to that. Four days prior to my party I received a bill for additional $280. I was billed for items we never discussed. Bartender fee? Fee for BYOB? which I was told up front I couldnt bring my own alcohol. The Bartender Sweet young lady, but she didnt know the difference between Vodka and Tequila. Stacey said she was going to provide cups and ice. She brought in one bag of ice and my guest had to go buy cups. I will never recommend this place to no one. She doesnt provide contracts as requested. She was on a conference call during my booking. She falsely advertises her space. She over charges. Bill for items never discussed. Unprofessional and rude!! I dont know how why she still in business.

We hosted our daughters Off to College Party there in August. She and her guests had a blast. The Owners and staff are professional and kind. The customer service was above and beyond. I highly recommend the location to view the beautiful artwork, host an event and support a very talented team! Thank you Stacy and Byron Isom for what you bring to the community!

I was invited here for a friends daughter 18th birthday party. The place is really nice, but it is small. Also there is no kitchen, so if you cater food make sure you bring items to heat the food. Otherwise, the gallery is beautiful and have nice and tasteful paintings on the wall.

My sisters wedding shower was here. It was lovely and all of the guests were definitely impressed. Each room is artistically tasteful and brings some class to your event. After our event a wedding was coming in that evening. This place has great flexibility.

One star is way too much!!!!! Stacy the owner is very unprofessional, dishonest, and disorganized!!! My friend Bridget Adams put in a lot of time and effort to make her special day a memorable one on 1/05/2019. We arrived at the Sugarland location only to be told that her party was booked at the Missouri City location. This was all a mistake on Stacys part. Stacy took it upon herself to schedule the party at the Missouri City location without communication or permission from Ms. Adams. The most embarrassing part is, all of the guest showed up at the Sugarland location only to be told to go to the Missouri City Location. This confusion was totally unnecessary and very heart breaking to all that attended. When this was supposed to be a very memorable night, it was a night from hell!!! Please know, there will never be a referral to Center Stage Gallery/Sugarland or Center Stage Gallery/Missouri City. Unprofessionalism should never be at the cost of the customer when the business owner (Stacy) is wrong!! Surely your cold hearted conscious will not convict you, but know that your business will not prosper if you continue to conduct business in the manner that you did.

This place is so beautiful inside. I have been to several events here. The staff is amazing in how they handle their guests. I plan on having my grandmothers birthday dinner here next year. Keep up the good work CSG!

This is a wonderful venue. I held my sons baby shower here. The staff was VERY helpful and accommodating, the gallery is beautiful, very nice art and very affordable. All of my guest were amazed. They even have decorations available in case you cant or dont want to decorate yourself. If you want a DJ they have some they work with or you can actually hook up to the wi-if and play your music through the speakers they have already set up. I cant say enough about Center Stage Gallery. I highly recommend this venue.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They get one star because I can not submit with no stars. I was suppose to have my baby shower there on Nov12th but they double booked the venue. I paid my deposit in September and the remaining balance in October. I call them the week of and they ensured me that everything was ok. Check in time is at 11:30am. I arrived there around 11:45am. When I walked in there, there was another baby shower being set up. BTW it looked like they have been there hours before the initial check in time. Both the owners were there so I spoke with them to see what was going on. They cared less especially the lady. She was just like we can give you your money back and shrugged her shoulders. By this time it is close to 1oclock and my shower is suppose to start at 2:00. The man kept saying we will figure it out but it took me to yell and scream and cry for him to put a move on it. The lady had an attitude and still did not give a damn. So they had me have it at the Mexican restaurant next door and they paid for the food and that was about it. My $220 cake was ruined because it started to melt because I was arguing with them. The man owner took it and tried to put it in the freeze and it completely fell apart. I order Olive Garden for catering which I had to cancel but I had to wait for a refund. Center Stage said they would reimburse me but that was 3 weeks ago still have not received anything. I waited a week to give it time to process and then I called them once I seen it was not there. I called last week to check on it and the man said that the lady processed it but I still have not received it. I called today no answer so I am going to go down to the court tomorrow and file a claim for small claims court. How do a business that only rent out the venue one party at a time double book.?Apparently, they just took my money but did not put me down in the books. They ruined a special day for me and now I have to take them to court because they do not know how to handle their business properly. It does not take 3 weeks to receive a reimburse. They put me through hell that day and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to deal with them. They missed out on potential customers. It has been 5 weeks now still no refund. I call them several times and left messages no one has returned any of my calls. The court petition has been filed already just was trying to give them another chance.
