Lake Mead Park

Awesome park. Tons of playground equipment for all ages. I have a 2 year old who has balance issues but, she has parts she can enjoy. Plenty of walking paths, a skate park, and a dog park as well. Great place to take your kids for a couple hours.

Very nice park! Theres a variety of jungle gyms; something for toddlers and older. Theres a paved walking trail, dog park, and tennis courts. Porta potties are on site; if you use those. Theres also a picnic shelter with tables; benches are placed throughout park.

Pretty trails. There is a large variety of playground equipment.

Great place but use bug spray. They will eat you alive.

Fantastic park hidden behind Kroger and next to a cemetery. Huge dog park, beautifully maintained wooded trail with a gorgeous view of Lake Mead thats very stroller friendly and a huge, fun playground for infants to teenagers.

Ver nice for walking the hiking trails, tree covered and next to a large lake.

Nice place for a walk, trails are well taken care of. Kids park looks okay if you dont mind being right next to a cemetery.

The park is clean. They do have bathrooms open, & they are clean, despite Covid.

The kids love this park. Not only is it a playground, but it also has covered pavilions where we have done birthday parties, a skate park and beautiful forest trails. I love the paved path that loops the playground b/c it has a sign that says 6 loops = 1 mile and its a great path for the kids to bike.

Very nice & perfectly kept park that always has clean bathrooms when needed. My favorite park for my daughter & I to get our daily walks.

Picnic area, playgrounds for the kids, and a skate park. Nice area for a run and for kids recreation.

My son and I went to walk the trails and let him play at the park. We had a blast. They have tennis courts and a huge play area and even have a section for smaller children to play. I loved the new addition the just revealed. We also walked all the trails, it was so nice and quiet and clean. We got to observe nature and learn. I plan to get my dogs registered for the nice dog park they have by the trails! We will definitely be back!!

Love this park. My granddaughter has so many things to do here. Clean and well maintained. If I had one complaint, no bathroom - porta potty.

Love the different age group play areas. Love the walking trail around the play area and in the back. Dog park has two areas. One for big and one for little. Bags available. Maps and distance markers. The lake is beautiful. Also the tree markers are fun to read.

The park was very nice. It has something for everyone, all ages of kids. They have a new area for toddlers and older that Ive never seen before. Nice and clean family park.

Beautifully done! I take my dog walking there all the time. The new playground part is amazing. My grandchildren love it!

Best park around! My kids & I really, REALLY enjoy this place. Soooooo many different kinds of playground equipment, trails, sheltered picnic area, etc, etc. Good times for the whole family!

Celebrated my granddaughter and grandsons birthday this past weekend with the Halloween theme had a great time just wish there were more Gazebos with tables

It was very relaxing. I appreciated the fact that I was able to sit around the Dog Park area and nobody bothered me at all! It was just what I mentally needed

My first time taking my 5 year old there. She had so much fun. She met new friends and had a ball with them. She didnt want to leave. Will be going back

Love the trails

I dont have young children but I do like to walk their small walking loop (although you can go off the loop for longer walks). The bathrooms are porta-pottys, however, there are actuall bathrooms on the other side of the tennis courts. There is also a small area paved for skating. The kids playing on the playground are having fun with their parents, it makes my walk pretty great. Ok, one last thing: two pokestops and a gym for those who want something else to do while walking! Enjoy!

My son grew up coming to this park. Its really cool, to see how this park has grown. A clean and safe park!!

Great spot for the kids. Theres also a walking trail and a skate park. The equipment is all new and last time I was there they were adding on to it.

I signed my fur babies up for membership today. The dog park is huge and beautiful. They have two sides, one for small babies and the other side is for the large babies. We look forward to spending a lot of time there.

Large park with ample parking, lots of different things to keeps the kids entertained. Also features a dog park, skate park, tennis courts, and walking trails. Had a very enjoyable time here.

Ive been taking my kids here for years plenty of space for lots of kids to play.

Nice clean park for kids!

I go here a couple times a week to either walk the circular track (6 laps = 1 mile) or to walk the park trails. Depending on time of day the Playground can be full of kids and parents or grandparents. Other times it is just me and walkers and birds. There is also a dog park. Grounds are well maintained by the City.

This park is the best. A huge play area for children, a dog park - $10 annual membership fee - huge play ground for dogs. Walk path and a long trail for dogs and for walking and jogging. Also has skate board area. The park is situated near a huge tennis court.

Be very careful when you take your toddlers to the playground behind Krogers (Lake Meade Park). My grandson got his head stuck in this hole at the toddler playground! It was a horrific few minutes getting him out and it ended up with a bad bloody bruised mouth. I heard the pop when his lip busted. It scared me so I took him to the ER. I am drained!

Kid loves this place and I like the fact it has shade.

Of the surrounding parks this area this is the one that I prefer. Shaded sitting areas,food shelter and grills,trails,skate area,track, walking trail with dog area. I like the improvements that are being made here.

Great trail behind the park for running. Good park for your kids, no woods close to the playground to hide scary clowns!

I love this park!! Its a hidden jem in Suffolk, with a skate park, a reg park, trails through the woods lead you to the lake, a dog park and so much more, very recommended.

Very nice, lots of activites for the kids, skate board ramp,tennis courts,dog park, playground shelter, plenty of shade,very clean, best park in SUFFOLK,It would be nice other neighborhood parks had half of the activities, at least one play ground shelter to protect from the Sun!
