Said they were open on Saturdays we went clear out there and they werent open it doesnt look like theyre ever open
They lied theyre not open on Saturdays
I love wwll this is one of the best little museums out there.
What a gem, well worth finding. Only open on Saturdays from 10 to 2. Totally free but donations always welcome and well needed. This museum is by Vollunteer staff and Board. It may be know as a small museum, you will be very surprised. This is a place where you still can hold a rifle and put on a world war 2 helmet. Sit in a 42 Jeep and other military vehicles
Awesome little WW2 museum! Its 100% free unless you want to put something in the donation box. Packed with artifacts and memorabilia from all sides of the battle. Have most of the popular infantry firearms and allowed to handle them with the museum guide. Guide was friendly and informative. A real gem for any WW2 enthusiast.
Very nice small museum. Important to remember wars fought for liberty!
I found this amazing location on pure chance and I was so glad I did. It is kind of hidden off the road, but was wonderful to visit. The building is actually a WW2 bunkhouse that had been relocated from John Dickson State Park. There are so many incredible pieces of military history there. All donated or on loan. It is worth the trip and the donation to enter. Such a small place and a huge amount of history to explore. Try it and you wont be sorry.
This place is PACKED with military memorabilia and historical artifacts.
Very nice place. Do not wait for the air show to see what all they have to offer.
