The Gateway Trail itself is popular with bicyclists, runners and walkers; the location is convenient and has quite a few parking lots. If you prefer a more serene outdoor experience - I would recommend go early because traffic definately picks up as the day goes on. For the amount of use this trail gets, it is fairly clean as far as Kleenexes, poop bags, wrappers, bottles and cans. The bridge over Manning is a terrific safety addition but unfortunately has been tagged with a lot of graffiti.

Well maintained trails. Beautiful scenery. Lush greenery! Different trails and distances for all skill levels. Cant wait for Food truck on Gateway to open up! We are bike riders.

The Gateway Trail is a real treasure. I cycle and there are some areas that need crack repair, but 95% is in very good condition and filled with very friendly people doing what they love. The detour near Hadley Ave N will be finished soon and there will be a new underpass under Hadley which will make the trail even better!!! Wildlife abounds and hundreds of very polite people depending on the time of day and weather. You can travel from St. Paul to Stillwater and beyond. Fantastic resource!

Connect to either Gateway Trail or the Browns Creek trail. Small lot fills up very quickly.

Great flat ride thru the woods.

Small parking lot but is 100 yards away from the Browns Creek State Trail which is an awesome 5.9 mile asphalt trail that will bring you right into downtown Stillwater by the docks and historic lift bridge! Awesome trail definitely bike riding it again!

Great trail. well kept. amazing views. and pretty easy as well. not to many slopes. Ill definitely be back.

Easy access to the gateway trail

Icy path this time of year. Only lunatics like me on the trail. Good workout but I wouldnt walk it without hiking poles.
