It was a good visit. Social distancing between the machine. Sanitizers are visually placed throughout the casino floor. There are even hand-washing stations on the casino floor in addition to the restroom.Not crowded at all which makes for a good 2-hour escape from the family. LOL

Nice choice of games. People working there very pleasant. Nice discount, restrictions apply, on food also. As far as the winnings, its gambling. Up to you how it goes. Overall we had a good time. We will go again.

Room was clean.Regular suites have an in suite safe, but no mini fridge.Executive suites have the mini fridge.Standard suites can get one for rent on a nightly basis. Comps here are great.The executives really do try and make sure you are happy here with generous comps.The food in the food court is not good, the lobster roll and chicken tenders are the best items. If you want food get those, or Taps, or go out of the casino for it. The Dumplings had nuts in them, their creams puffs were not good.Staff are very niceDesk is unmanned at a certain time.The killer of it allNO ROOM SERVICE.The shower is nice.Rooms come standard with Keurig and an ice chest.Rooms come with MGM filtered masks made of high quality.Check out time is 11AM.My wife and I enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. We will be coming again soon, and it is now her favorite casino.

Staff was so amazing and accommodating, the service was awesome, food was delicious, had an awesome anniversary dinner. Not forgetting the respect received for my husband being in military. Continue to make your customers happy, we will definitely be back .

We went there couple weeks ago. It wasn’t my taste but maybe it’s yours. Nothing spectacular or special beautiful. The security about the Corona Virus was very good. All was super clean and controlled. I walke outside around a little bit so see Springfield. I would say it was ok but isn’t a place for me to come back...the City was very dirty looking. Trash in every corner.

Nice to have a food court that has a variety of options and not expensive. And the option of seating dining in pub...payouts I have not been to lucky..but cant say they dont happen...located in an area with other stuff to do..Dr Seuss museum ..basketball hall fame to name some..their pool and hot tub are in a nice area and when open great place to chill. Movie theater in there as well.keep in mind during covid call where ever you may want to visit to assure open...good luck hope you hit a jackpot

No stars was there for 4 hours last night. Not one drink or waitress around very pitiful. Also why cant people walk around with drinks they said because of pandemic Mohegan you can walk around no problems. Mohegan here I come better service no hassle

I go Several times a week Mainly because Im bored, I feel safe with the virus protocols set forth.....I find a slot payout Is poor.. I dont even get me going on the service Sometimes I dont even get a drink I know its partly due to the virus but In any case they need more Waitresses the slot should pay out better i played late Wednesday nite lost $2500 in the slots didnt win 1 jackpot or receive 1 drink and I asked a Waitress for a coffee she never returned  had to buy a $4,50 coffee from the only restaurant open at that time..now you tell me did I have a good time....Unhappy

Great place to visit and always a pleasant experience but sometimes in certain areas, these ladys on the floor have to do better with checking to see if their customers are ok with needing something as simple as a water.

Due to covid regulations theirs no tables and no entertainment. Most of the patrons seen are the ones who cant survive without feeding their addictions. I dropped by to use the restroom. The pandemic washed the WOW out of MGM. Moore similar to the pop up rest stop casinos out west. Just missing tractor trailer truck parking.

Have been there a few times since they reopened, nice people, extremely clean! They are an amazing example of social distancing done right. Everyone had on masks and security was quick to ask people politely who pulled down their masks to put them on! Staff cleaned open machines quickly, sanitizer everywhere. Tap restaurant outdoor space had fantastic distancing and a great area. Felt very safe and comfortable there!

It was our first trip to MGM Springfield and I must say it was a very enjoyable one. The casino was very clean and the staff are very friendly. Great job keeping everyone safe ladies and gentlemen. The slots actually pay well. Thank you for a great trip....

Best part of the casino. Its non smoking. Even before the virus. It is terrible. Its a neighbor hood experimental casino that failed to deliver. Maybe its time to sell.

I needed to get out of the house and do something. I havent been to a casino in a few years and since MGM is within 35 minutes, I went there. Self parking is free so that is what I chose. They also offer valet parking if youre interested. A mask is required to enter and must be kept on until you reach a table. Someone is checking you in when entering.I typically play Blackjack and managed to find a $10 minimum table. You can always bet more if youre feeling it. They have the Blackjack tables divided so a maximum of 3 players can play at one time. It is done behind plexiglass, so your protected. An automatic card shuffler is used to keep play moving. Blackjack runs in cycles and knowing when to walk away is key. This morning I managed to walk away with a $190 profit. Best of luck!

Visited the Regal Cinemas at MGM Springfield. Was nice to get out & see a movie. Only issue was very limited items at the concessions stand

Great local casino. Less than half of the slot machines are open right now due to Covid social distancing protocol. Go when it is not a peak time. During peak hours you will not be able to find an open slot.

I enjoyed my stay here, bed was comfortable, loved the shower & the room was big, clean & spacious. The casino floor is not big & the food court doesnt have a lot of selections. I would stay there again but theres no rush to go back.

Horrible service, I understand protocol due to covid and all but with all of the bars and restaurants closing early there should be more cocktail waitresses. I played $120.00 in slot machines never getting a drink, went to where my husband was playing a card game, waitress came over and wouldnt serve me because I wasnt sitting playing even though I just spent money on slot machines with no service. Ill give my money to Mohegan next time.

The staff that was duty Halloween around 1pm. Was great, they were very quick to come to my machine and fix the problems I was having with it, and explained how it worked

Half the time you cant get anyone to serve drinks lost my rewards card for comps and slot points and they refuse to give me a replacement because my license is expired because I have been unable to get a new one because of the huge hassle of new document a needed had no problem taking my money and accepted the id for tax purposes though think the trip to foxwoods or moheagan is definitely worth it they know how to treat regulars

Its a very small casino which isnt too bad, however, if you enjoy table games such as blackjack, i cannot recommend this casino at all. The establishment uses an automatic card suffler instead of a traditional shoe. The dealer will re-shuffle about about 60 cards making the enjoyment of the game almost always in the house favor. Yes I understand wanting to stop card counting, but this method feels like it always cheats the player out of what would have been a great experience.

I actually like it there it sure beats traveling an hour or so to CT although Ive heard many complaints regarding slot wins vs other casinos, either way Ive been here a couple times with my wife and my brother and weve been able to enjoy our time there ........

Its a nice place. Plenty of slots and a decent amount of table games. Had lunch at the Tap restaurant and its a really cool place. Good food, lots of TVs, and an interesting game room with a bar and six bowling lanes.

Beautiful place...huge. Free parking with many EV charging stations, ballrooms, drinking all throughout property including in the movie theater. Built right downtown Springfield, encompassing and utilizing many existing buildings and elements into the complex. Poker room looked very busy... old Armory is now a comedy club. Looks fun in the Summer

Great place to catch Covid right now too many people

Very safe and clean environment. My wife and I have played here since it opened. We played at Moheghan and Foxwood since they opened. We always hated the god awful smell of those places with their bad ventilation and smoke filled rooms. We are not big gamblers, so we have only lost money to the casinos, and get no perks, but enjoy it as diversionary fun. MGM is nearby, has great parking, is usually very clean, and they take extreme care, now with Covid, shutting most machines for distancing. When this Covid scare ends, things will brighten up to the earlier excitement. It is still a great place to unwind until then.

Once we got into the casino it was a little crowded. People did not have their masks properly, we didnt see one person going around cleaning any machines. There was hff and sanitizer but couldnt find any wipes. The machines were taking more money then paying out. Must be making up for the time they were closed. Wont be back even after covid is no longer a threat.

Had a good time. The place was clean and had plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes around. One downside is trying to get a drink on the slots floor. I only saw one waitress in 4 hours.

Beautiful, clean, classy. Only went to casino. Food places not all open . What was open was expensive. Slots were very tight, went to other casinos, same thing. Its no fun to lose so quickly, so we lose what we expected to and leave. Would be nice to stay more than a couple of hours.

Clean, kept up, the staff is fantastic. Dont waste your time with their Italian restaurant Costa. Go right across the street to the best Italian place in the city: Red Rose Pizzeria. Travel tip: the least expensive rooms do not have a mini fridge. Tell them at the desk you are diabetic and need a fridge for your insulin.

Great casino though very small. Not like a typical Indian reservation casino this is located downtown and you can feel the difference. The valet is great and all the staff have been friendly. Its quite disconcerting to have the abundance of local and state police with k9 dogs roaming around the casino. However it can be dangerous around there so its nice to know they are there. Its a double edged sword really. Ive seen some shady things but theyve all been handled quickly by the police and security. Security checks bags of people roaming around too. The hotel rooms are spacious and well decorated. The second floor rooms have higher ceilings and are much nicer in my opinion. The casino hosts are helpful but the hotel is small so rooms are harder to come by depending on when you go. The restaurant choices are well suited. There is free coffee and soda on the casino floor and it is very welcomed.

This was my first time at this casino. For a casino located in the middle of the city of Springfield, it’s a decent place. It has slots and tables like other casinos but on the smaller side. The casino is on the 1st floor. One noticeable thing is the lack of cigarette smoke. For those who are familiar with Foxwoods and the accompanying smoke, you’ll breath easy at MGM. Also, there little to no retail located here. I have to say that one annoying thing was constantly being asked for our ID. We were probably stopping 4 times. If this is what they are going to do, then they need a better system than stamping your hand. Nevertheless, the casino does offer outdoor spaces for ice skating & concerts. There’s even a huge screen outside to watch the game.

Easily one of the best hotels Ive stayed in. We stayed in the hotel for three nights with our dogs. The entire staff were extremely kind and helpful. The whole hotel and casino venue were decorated beautifully! The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Extra points for bathroom design We enjoyed using the Starbucks coffee machine which was a nice amenity. P.S- the pizza on the bed does not come with the roomThe casino was clean and well maintained. We were there for Presidents day weekend and it wasnt overly crowded. We could all get in on a game fairly quickly. There are lots of slot machines too!We were only able to go to South End Market. We ordered the hot and cold lobster rolls, clam chowder, and fries. Everything was delicious! Id recommend ordering the clam chowder and fries separately, then pour the chowder on the fries. Pure Bliss.

We had a great stay at MGM Springfield. Every staff member we came in contact was professional and friendly, which made us feel welcome. This is a beautiful property. They have woven in many local history and architecture to the buildings, making sure to preserve aspects of the Springfield area. When visiting make sure to take in the unique decor and you will discover artifacts from prominent individuals and business in and around Springfield, Massachusetts.The hotel rooms have the feel of a boutique hotel. Visit the conference center, even if you aren’t attending a conference, to view the stained glass dome and rotunda from the old United Electric Building. Notice the wording in the carpet, which is from books by Emily Dickinson.We tried out several restaurants during our stay and Cal Mare was our favorite. The “squid ink” black pasta with mussels was a favorite and make sure to top off your dinner with house-made Limoncello. For a special treat, walk outside to the Krinkles building to grab a spiked milkshake. Make sure to try the “Smore Something” topped with a flaming marshmallow.At noon on Fridays the outdoor area features live music and Food Trucks.

My first time there and as I was moving to another machine I had a coffee in my handand one of your employee approach me and very rude to me saying that I need to sit with my coffee cant you read the signs.I reply nicely Im sorry this is my first time here and didnt. Know.he didnt have to be rude. So right now I am upset and probably wont be coming back any time soon.specially the way I was talk to.sorry !

My go to place now. Less than an hour drive from my home in CT. Its quaint, clean and smoke free ! Limited table games but thats ok as I typically go up weeknights so its not that crowded. Friendly staff/dealers. Hotel rooms are clean. Movie theater is top notch. Good choice of restaurants to satisfy all types of taste buds. Free self serve soft drink and coffee dispensers. Easy off/on parking within seconds of I-91. Great outdoor lounging area during the warmer months.Only complaint that I have is they took out electronic craps (bubble craps). One of my favorite games to play. Bring it back !

Was at the Casino for over 2 hours before I was able to get a drink. Spoke with 3 cocktail waitresses and basically was ignored. It will be a long time if ever I go back.

This place was amazing the restaurants in the hotel are terrific, I loved the food at the Tap bar and grill. The rooms were beautiful and well kept. The price was great! Two days there was cheaper then one day in a lower level hotel in Boston. Stayed here cause we were going to Six Flags New England and its pretty close... The casino is not bad with lots of slots and tables. Highly recommend

MGM did a fantastic job getting this place together. They hit on every cylinder presenting their trademark casinos. Gaming, dining, theater, bowling and even an ice skating rink. Come visit enjoy Springfield, MA and surrounding areas.

Place is nice. Doesnt feel like your in Springfield. They did a great job. Has a resort feel. Easy in, easy out parking. Casino itself is kind of small. a lot of slot machines. Can get busy on the weekend.

Great aesthetics! However the staff directly in service need a training in customer service. This excludes the staff at Starbucks! They are attentive and friendly. Maybe they can give a training to the staff on the floor. The two soda machines are always broken and consistently out of ice. Super happy they finally decided to add lobster to the lobster bisque! Its the only item in the food court worth buying.

A great addition to a trouble downtown area. Springfield has long had a problem bringing businesses to the downtown area. MGM has not only made the area pop, but it did it in a way to help the other area businesses by not making itself a dominant presence. They only put up a 250 room hotel to be able to share the wealth. Theyve invested money in the local arena. Welcome to the area lets hope it remains a good clean place.

Overnight weekend break - very busy but check-in was smooth and you can check-out via the TV in the room which was great. Room décor is a little bizarre - very modern I guess! - but very clean and comfortable. Shower was huge! fyi no fridge or microwave - we didnt need one but thought it was unusual for a new modern property not to have that. It was quiet and relaxed in the hotel corridors despite being full - quite a contrast to stepping out into the casino which was extremely loud and crowded. The casino is sizeable, spread across the ground level, but not large - its no CT-style casino, its located right in Downtown after all. We knew that and actually enjoyed the other facilities: a Regal cinema on the second level and a bowling alley adjoining the sports bar. Parking was a nightmare: the parking garage is a badly-designed free-for-all for both patrons and overnight guests and not large enough. Think jams and honking. One level should at least be designated for hotel guests. We gave up and got out - thoroughly recommend just paying the $28 for valet. Overall a good time but the hotel itself is overpriced.

Im not overly impressed with this place. The rooms are a little creepy looking. I was in a King room with the hardest mattress ever. It was sleeping on a box of rocks! I have traveled for many years and never had a bed this bad. Ridiculous for $200 per night. And another $20 resort fee for what? There was nothing that was resort-like in this location or venue. The king room was an adjoining room. Personally I hate that adjoining room feature as I had a bad experience with this in the past. Make sure you ask if youre concerned when you book. The bathroom is tasteful with walk in showers only (no tub). If youre a smoker dont bother, they are the most smoking unfriendly casino Ive ever been too. You have many, many doors you can walk out of but there are NO handles to get back in. They need to take a lesson from Harrahs in New Orleans also non smoking but they created a dedicated atrium area outdoors so their players can be safe and not have to walk around the entire building to get back inside.

This is a beautiful casino with a huge gaming floor and lots of places to eat. There is a wide variety of slots and table games. The minimum bets I saw on the tables was $15. There were a lot of penny slots, then they jumped to a minimum of $1 (3 lines). It is a nonsmoking casino. Outside the main entrance go to the plaza, it is a huge patio with fire pits, an old armory building, wall murals, an arcade and bowling alley bar, taps bar. The way it spills right on to Main Street makes it hard to tell where the casino ends and this charming town takes over.

Stayed last week with my family, brand new, well designed room and public areas.Food market offers a little of everything.Reception staff professional and kind, common area are always clean and even found changing pads available on casino floor.Only issue: untrained Starbucks staff, asked for coconut cappuccino grabbed the cup and left, when already arrived to the car found out it was hot chocolate. How is even possible to mistake cappuccino with hot chocolate ? Returning was out of the question because the parking is too far from Starbucks.
