My wife and I left this place this evening EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. This is the best movie theater weve ever been to anywhere in the country. Outstanding place with a suburb 5-star look and feel inside and out. The food was good and our server wasnt just friendly, but genuinely nice and helpful. And while the optional recliner seats cost a bit extra, my wife loved the seat heater feature, while I loved the raised sides. The raised side of the recliner seats largely block the view to the sides and give a distinctly private atmosphere which we thoroughly enjoyed.The theater sound is incredible, but it definitely takes a bit of getting used to due to both its volume and powerful low-frequency bass. But by the end of the movie, I decided I wouldnt have the sound any other way! It definitely pulls you into the movie and keeps you there.The only thing about this place I would change is the super dark black (closed) appearance of the entrance windows as viewed from the outside at night. No lights are visible, so we didnt think the theater was open. There really needs to be an inviting light or Open or Movies Inside sign or something to give a welcoming invitation to drive-bys. Other than this minor critique, this is the perfect theater! We will be back again many times in the future.

Excellent place, comfortable, tasty food and great attention. I loved it! 100% recommended to see the new movies and get out of the routine. Ill surely come back to see my favorite premieres.

We went there last night and got VIP seats but no VIP treatment. No blanket, no popcorn, my food was not made properly, and our server acted like he hated his job. We go there often and havent had an experience like this one. You would think we would be treated great given the fact that business is really bad. Asked about it as we were leaving and the lady said I had to ask for the VIP items. I could have had the same experience for less money

This was the best theater that I had ever visited. My boyfriend and I had the entire theater to ourselves, which hardly ever happens in other theaters. The food was good, our server was great, and the seating was comfortable. The only thing that I wish was available was heated recliner seats. I did notice that the sound from the movie in the next room was extremely loud and you could hear it when my movie had silence. However, the sound in the theater is greatly intense as if you are not only going to watch the movie but feel it too. I would recommend going at a less busy time to get the best experience possible and a good drink/snack.

Came here on a rainy Monday afternoon with a friend for the first time and was immediately taken back on how clean and beautifully decorated this movie theater is. The location is superb! The young lady at the ticket counter was very kind and informative. We purchased a pod and our waitress gave us complimentary blankets and popcorn The hostess also toured us the private meeting space/theatre. Very impressed and highly recommend!!

Excellent is too low to describe this place. Majestic setting and COVID-19 implementation. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is very good and the snacks as well. And of course the movie presented had dynamic audio and visual as well. This is somewhat pricey but you get what you pay for.

Beautiful luxury interior design and perfect lighting. Quite good sound system. Nice bathroom and Very clean. Kind and polite employees. Shout out for them who is working tonight on Christmas eve. Good ideas for using a device tool when ordering the food and pay at the same time( not using it the pen and paper like the other location).Eventhough, we had to wait 20 minutes for our chicken and another 20 minutes for my fries but we had enjoyed our movie.

I’ve been here several times with no issues! Great food, great service. Last night was the worst service! The sound was very low, waited awhile with no help, had to leave the theater twice because we couldn’t here the movie! The girl who was waiting on us evidently was upset and took even longer for our drinks! Talk to the manager and was told our server was the best?? Very disappointed but will continue to go in the daytime when the service has always been great!

Great atmosphere and theater 1 was nice. Premium pod was worth it for comfort. Nachos were great, cant speak for other food after just one visit but I would go back.

Wow! I don’t think we will ever go to another movie theater after visiting Star Cinema Grill! We took the kids for a surprise late movie during the week (school night) after dinner. Not crowded as it was during the week, but walking in to this theatre is like walking into a fancy resort! You are greeted with big smiles and welcomes by staff. We were early, pushed the call button for our server, showed up within 2 minutes. I ordered frozen jack and coke, and hubby and kids got milkshakes. Best milkshakes hands down! We didn’t order food/popcorn since we had just eaten. Very courteous staff, comfortable reclining chairs, clean bathrooms! Great theatre and excellent staff!

This was a 10 + experience! Beautiful facility, amazing recliners, delicious food, great prices. I was pleasantly surprised with complimentary popcorn and theater blankets. Wow, also totally clean and hygienic environment. Im definitely coming back.

When their glass empties, even they wonder if there is anything more to life!-Response to owner; Yes, if you cant see my review WAS directed at yourself as I had it, though for the exercising of a the word, simplicity, the simple fact that all your customers are indeed your facility as theyre allowed by your facility. They represent you more than you do, as you probably arent even noticed as owner to most anybody. And if you place a bar there, what kind if crowd gathers? The same concept as if you placed an ice cream stand, which most likely would gather kids & moms.Where the prey lay, there the vultures gather. Or the one who lies down with dogs, wakes up with fleas.These things colleges dont stress because they feel your momma already set that general foundation... called life or common sense.But what I gathered from your question is you dont even feel your location qualifies for accountability because what goes on there, has nothing to do with you!, ... I hope you dont call the cops if someone robs the place because what the people do in your location hasnt anything to do with you... mmmmmmmBut thank you for opening such an empty point of view so publicly.

A fantastic experience with friendly and professional employees. Normally you go to the movies for the movie but here its the food the atmosphere and the customer service. The staff were attentive the food was delicious and the margaritas are a must. They are able to host private parties with the full private treatment for you and your guest. I would recommend to anyone who whats a full date night experience.

The screen in the theater we were in was HUGE! Star Grill Cinema surely does live up to its concept of luxury movie watching. The recliner seats were wide and soft and comes equipped with cup holders, tables and a button for the servers to come take your food order!

The most beautiful theater I have ever seen, seats are comfortable and beautiful and the staff are professional and hard working(shot out to Macy!) Food is delicious, southwest egg rolls are a must buy. Definitely visit!

My wife and I were so thrilled that a Star Cinema Grill opened up near our house, and it did not disappoint. We had the Friday after thanksgiving off, so we went for the 11:00 Matinee. The place looks great, super clean, modern, and has that classic theater vibe.The auditoriums are really cozy. The recliner seats are really comfortable and the seat has an armrest that you can put up or down depending on what you want. Each pair of seats comes with a table which retracts easily to let you in or out of your seats.You can also rent blankets for $2 if you find it to be cold.We ordered Edamame and shrimp tacos. The food was really tasty and came out quickly.The theater was a bit empty, but if I had to guess, this is owing to the fact that this is a brand new commercial development and Star Cinema Grills is one of the first few businesses to open up here. As more businesses move it, this will be a desperately needed area for shopping and entertainment. As that happens, I’m sure this place will stay really busy.

We went to the Star Cinema Grill to see Star Wars and the service was excellent. The food was delicious, the seats were heated, and the available blanket made the seating quite cozy. This was our first time at the Star Cinema Grill but it definitely wont be our last.

1st thing I must do is give a huge shout out to my server Henry!!! He and the whole staff were very friendly and welcoming. I love the VIP section idea, the heated seats and blankets were an added bonus. OMG the food was delicious! I had pepperoni pizza, and I tried the loaded fries and pulled pork slider. Well, the venue is amazing and the service was perfect too. The food however was disappointing and this being a movie grill is the reason I come. I have seen dozens of movies at the Conroe location over the last several years. I wouldnt doubt if that number was over a hundred. Ive also eaten much of the menu at the Conroe location also and the salad wrap from tonight pales in comparison. The cold hard tortilla and the absence of salad in the salad wrap was pathetic. I was here once before and if you are okay with bar food ( the nachos from last time were fine, but its hard to mess up nachos) then eat here. If not, buy dinner somewhere else before you come. Getting drinks brought to your seat is nice but why spend money on substandard food. Ironically, others in the theater had the same complaint so evidently it is something that occurs here and Im not sure if I can give the menu here another shot at the prices they charge.

To date, this is the nicest theater I have been to. The overall atmosphere is very well done. Low light themes couples with decor made for a vintage, yet modern theme make this place absolutely perfect for a good date night. What about the food? The menu rivals The Cheesecake Factory menu; that is to say it is multiple pages of food and drinks. While we only sampled a small selection of the food, it was delicious and appropriately priced for the atmosphere and setting. As far as the theater, the picture was excellent and I would go as far as to say the sound was the best of any theater Ive been to yet. The sound is not simply turned up loud for volume. The bass is clear and the frequency range is excellent. The surround sound isnt muddy and offers great tones. Overall, Id highly suggest this theater.

I love SCG however I went the other day and ordered a wrap salad, they gave me this... I felt dissapointed because I had ordered these before and this felt like a joke. The service is great and I know the food here it is too. It was super flat, it wasnt worth 15 bucks. Just want them to fix this. I wouldnt like to come back and have the same kitchen service.

The Star Cinema Grill is the best of all worlds. You get to see a movie in very comfortable chairs. I would suggest spending the extra $5 for the premium seats. You get a blanket as well as heated seats! The service was slow, and I had to find someone after the movie in order to settle up for my tab. But other than that the place was great! We will be going back!

This is an unbelievable place to watch a movie. Like nothing Ive ever seen. Clean, well-designed and it made me feel like the owners really cared about making the best movie theater they could. Service comes to your chair, staff is friendly, cant say enough about this new theater.

Has this place been shut down due to coronavirus? Came by based on showtimes in the Star Cinema app which has showtimes listed for sale. The instructions on the website tell you to purchase your tickets via the app. Arrived and the doors were locked and the theater was dark inside.Management may want to post a notice in the app that this place is CLOSED.There were no signs on the doors to even tell you they were in fact closed.

Starting with the bad...the food is horrible....my family has come twice and ordered the Fantastic Four...nothing fantastic. Both times food came it was barely warm, cheese sticks were not hot or stringy, ordered fries extra crispy and they were not even a little crispy, seemed our food was sitting for a while before brought to us. Ordered 2 drinks and only one was brought to us but were charged for 2. Our check was not brought to us before the movie ended but they did correct The drink mistake. We could hear the movie playing next door both times. The great, we will still come back but will not eat or drink during movie. Theater is gorgeous and everyone is so friendly. The atmosphere is awesome. The restrooms are super clean and smell nice. The floors and everything looked clean. Just wondering if new blankets are put out each movie or if they just reroll them?!? Beautiful facility and a nice clean place to watch a movie.

Great food! Great, STRONG drinks. We went for my birthday and sat in the pods. They were so cool with lights to see the menu but they have you inside a private booth style area so you don’t disturb anyone. The leather seats have the powered recliners. The entire place is new and highly recommended!

This is a new cinema that just opened, late 2019. The staff are all friendly, and servi e is great. There is a lot of food choices to make if you want a meal, and also options for a dessert or popcorn. And with a full bar, drink options are limitless. We sat in a pod and these seats come with a complimentary blanket to use there while you enjoy the movie. Overall, a great experience!

Really enjoyed the movie and dining combo experience. Good variety of drinks and food. Food quality was very good. The seats are very comfortable and its worth a splurge on date night to get the special seats that provide a private atmosphere. They also have the bass incorporated into the seats.

As many reviews have mentioned, this newly entertainment business has great ambiance, high food quality, high-end finishes throughout the cinema. Love this clean and well-managed cinema.Two recommendations:1) Add more healthier food or seafood selections2) Christmas night was a full house! Food taste was top-notched but it took some time for waiters to take order and checks werent delivered. Wish the staffing and efficiency could catch up with busy season demand as time goes by.

The pod seats are nice. They almost got it right I say that because it can feel like you are a little to close to the screen. The service is great and the wings are delicious. That is all I tried so cant say anything about the rest of the menu. The pod seats are heated and have blankets for you to use.

Clean, attentive, service oriented. So excited to try this place out after its 1 month opening. I have a feeling once the word is out on their location, it will have daily sell-out shows.This place made a movie date night feel like a real date- with heated seats, individual couple pods, and food/drinks service.I tried the bone in wings, boneless, egg rolls, loaded potato skins, an mozzarella sticks. The drinks were larger than the cheesecake factory sizes! Mozzarella sticks are skinny and flat- but still good. Bone in wings were covered in sauce and wet naps were given so you did not have to leave your seat. Servers were not upselling- that is what blew me away! I had ordered 3 appetizers and the server suggested I order a combo app - making for 2 large appetizers instead. It was strongly suggested that the experience was more important than how much money they could get from your pocketbook.Go and Enjoy!

Amazing theater! VERY nice. Beautiful interior with gold accents. Great theater seats and service. Lots of food and drinks to choose from. The bar is nice...you feel like youre at an upscale hotel bar vs a movie theatre. This will definitely be a regular for us from now on.

Let me start with the good. The location isnt too far from home and its in a really nice area. I love how beautiful the theater is, very stylish,clean and comfortable. The seats inside are large enough to sit most people yet cozy. The bartender was really nice. Now lets talk about the bad. Ugh the food is way too expensive, the service sucks, my order which was just one plate, the waiters are so loud when taking orders its embarrassing to order because I felt like I was ruining the movie for other and dont know how much things cost (popcorn price isnt on the menu). It took the waiter a very long time to get my check and when I got it the movie was over and I had to go find some to take my payment. All this happened on my daughter 13th birthday on Christmas day. I expected better service and this but hey it is a beautiful place.

Great theater, very modern with comfortable seats, big screens and good food. They have fun cocktails themed with current movies and the staff are friendly and courteous. However, most appear to be below drinking age so dont be surprised if you get the wrong beer when you order (I ordered a Shiner Bock and received some kind of wheat beer, lol).

Very beautifully decorated inside. The seats are the best leather recliner seats ive been in. The food was yummy too. I had the nachos with carne asada and an icee. My husbands had the fight club sandwich with fries and he said it was yummy too. The ambiance of the bar is real nice. It would be a great date option.

Brand new with nice space and chairs to lift your feet. The sound system is really good and they have food, like real food, so you can have lunch or dinner and watch your movie at the same time. Tips : try the chocolate milkshake

Love this theatre. Great lean back chairs, awesome sound. Food is quite good. Liquor drinks were watered down so avoid that. Service for eat in theater is as expected. Place is very clean but then again, its brand new (we visited Jan 2020)

We chose this place as our Valentines date. I dont know why, but the atmosphere just wasnt there. Theater is clean, very nice, great seats, blankets were a nice surprise. The theater, seats and setup were pretty great. On the other hand, the staff was a bit disconnected. There was a lot of walking in front of us, and a few other things that made a awkward first impression. It wasnt a bad experience, just a bit bland. Having many other options around, Im afraid this would be my last visit.

This place is first class! Almost seems like you should arrive in a limousine. By far the nicest theater I have attended. Seems like you walk in on a red carpet and your the star. Really swanky and their premium pods are nice for date night but not sure if they worth double (18 vs 9 maitenne) otherwise.Plus you have to buy both seats so 36 + 1.75 transaction fee.Screen looked great and Atmos was on point.

We went to the Grill with free tickets and we were excited to check it out. I decided to upgrade to a pod, which gives you a little more privacy. It is a little more secluded and probably worth the extra $5 a seat. At any of the seats you have a small table that slides toward your recliner so you can eat from it. On the table is a little button you hit for service. Little did I know, but my button was broken. It is supposed to stay lit with a red light, but mine didnt. So we had arrived the recommended half hour early but I stewed as others who came in after us were being served. When I tried to flag down a waitress she waived me aside saying they were understaffed and they were training someone, but eventually they would get to everyone. I am sure if she was not in such a hurry, the two of us would have figured out the button was broken.Eventually, I hit my wifes button which lit red and confirmed to me that my table was indeed broken. The wait after that wasnt long, and the waitress did apologize for the button snafu. We order the big pretzel as a starter, and sliders and Southwest egg rolls as our meals. I had a Michelob ultra and my wife had a blue icee. The timing of the food was fine, the portions big and I thought it was good. My wife was less impressed saying it was too greasy. But in the end, I think the overall concept doesnt work for us. My wife said it was like watching a movie in a sports bar. I didnt think it was that bad, but I admittedly didnt see the appeal either.If I want to eat food in front of a big screen, I can do that at home. I would rather just focus on the movie.

Beautiful, grand style movie theater and grill. White leather lounger seating, small tables at seating for food and drinks. Service delivers food to your seat. This was a true quality cinema experience. I will definitely be returning for more movie entertainment in a glamorous setting.

This was Absolutely AMAZING. The Theater was beautiful and the food was delicious. Not only that but the staff was very polite, even held the doors open for you as you walked out. The whole experience was Great and I would go again.

Went for the grill only this trip. No movie, so no comments about the theater. The grill/bar area has an definite adult atmosphere. It suits for date night or any adults out for a quiet meal. Two large TVs on the back wall of the bar had a game on with the sound down. Something to look at without sound intruding on conversation. Service was prompt and pleasant. The menu offers basic categories, but with a nice variety of basics and interesting twists. Appetizers, salads, burger/sandwiches, pizzas and desserts. There are kid friendly choices as well. Portions were belly filling. The Southwest rolls were especially tasty. Theyre fried, so be careful of the temperature on the first bites. Prices are more than drive-through level, but good for real silverware casual. No lobby arcade, so no reason for hordes of teens to mill about. Again, nice adult oriented, date friendly atmosphere.

Without a doubt the finest movie theatre we’ve ever visited.My wife and I equated it to a Las Vegas experience.It’s theatrical...with incredible dining, drinks, atmosphere.The employees are professionally trained and it shows.The movie screen and sound are 5 star..incredible high resolution picture with Dolby surround.The plush leather reclining seats are sumptuous.The bathrooms in this theatre are nicer then any 5 star resort in Vegas.We cannot say enough good things about Star Cinemas movie experience.We would vote 10 stars if we could.Our go to theatre for now on.Thank you Star Cinema for bringing something this fine to Spring.

What a wonderful experience, I was never a movie guy until I went to StarCinema now it has become an every week event. My wife and I showed up yesterday for our movie an hour early to enjoy an appetizer and drink before the show, Carlos was very attentive and the food was delicious. However, before the show started we received a phone call and could not stay. Macy and Tim then jumped into action helped us get rescheduled and even gave us a coupon for a free movie. With this kind a service and attention I will always be a loyal customer. They are the best!Daniel and Leticia

This is a great, high-end theater. Its in an area where there is new development so its never crowded. You can reserve your seats online and experienced the most comfortable surroundings with restaurant quality food and drink.

A really nice place to take a date. The newest movie theatre around; still has that new smell. Theaters had amazing Dolby Atmos sound (speakers on the ceiling). Nice and comfortable seats. The VIP section was not quite as private as I would have liked. The service was not great. Waitresses making jokes is not charming when people are trying to watch a film; and why so much perfume? It is a really nice are though; good drinks and a perfect date spot.

Great atmosphere. Excellent food. Good service. The price is right! Highly recommended movie / dining experience.
