Northtown mall is pretty great. Im going to be honest Ive been coming here for 20 plus years and the only thing I miss is the arcade! They have great restaurants and just about all the shopping one can endure and the movies! The Blue Zoo is an awesome attraction as well. All the things for all the people are here to experience, kids, ladies, gentleman you name it! Go check it out!

I love this theatre, well maybe just the reclining seats! I do not like how long it takes to get to the food counter now to buy my ticket. That seems to take forever. Instead of waiting in the line, I got the unlimited ticket (monthly) and now I dont have to wait. The person checking tickets just scans my phone and I am through. If the line is low for snacks I might grab something but otherwise, I WONT WAIT!

Large comfortable reclining seats. Clean for a movie theater. Super quick entry with prepaid tickets. Skipped the snack bar, although others were enjoying it. A few arcade games out front. Movie sound was clear and not too loud. Stairs in the theatre were noticeably loud when people walked up and down during the movie. Bathroom was fine. Much better experience than amc in river park square. Parking is free, close, and easy.

Better than I expected, with reclining seats and clean theater and bathroom. Northtown Mall can sometimes have a gritty reputation and lost some anchor stores (Sears closing), but the big Barnes & Noble gives it a modern, urban vibe. Unlike Regal at Valley, you have to enter mall to access theater -- and go up escalator. So not as convenient to get to. But valley Regal doesnt have reclining seats, so I would choose Northtown again over valley.

Great theater. Comfy seats have been around for awhile, and are still comfy. They do a good job of cleaning up, and maintaining the place. I have had some issues with fandango, and the managers have been a great resource for resolving the problem. Always smiles from the staff, even at the end of the night. Definately my go to for films. Especially like the ease of parking.

The view is amazing. Great staff. The seats in the theater are very comfortable and great for wanting to relax while watching the movie laying down or sitting. The price for the food is exaggerated and too much, you can get candy and popcorn elsewhere for a cheaper price. But you can bring in food as long as its closed to the theater.

The seating is amazing and the theater staff is awesome. They are so kind and Helpful, my issue is that they have made it so you have to buy your tickets from concessions and the lines are forever long. It has created a jam before you cam see your movie causing you to be late to your movie or not get the seats you want. If this issue was resolved I could give 5 stars.

Dont get me wrong, its hard for a movie theater to be bad. My wife and I have seen a few movies here and prices for concessions and tickets are definitely standard movie prices. My complaints center around a need to be updated and possibly cleaned more often. The theater is slightly dingy and dirty and we felt crammed together in each of the theaters we viewed in. With the majority of theaters updating their chairs to be more spacious and have a reclining feature, we found ourselves slightly uncomfortable during our movie going experiences here. The staff is incredibly kind and the location is convenient, but well likely only return to this theater if the AMC downtown isnt showing what wed like to see.

This place I would not reccomend to watch movies if your planning on watching a movie in 3D. The glasses were wrong they gave us the like early 2000s version red and green glasses to a movie I seen and it was blurry the whole time wrong glasses. I was very disappointed in the quality of the pre-dated 3D where it should be updated l. 3D movies is. Not a good idea to watch movie#therunforyourmoney.

Today I had unfortunate experience of what bad audio can do to a movie. Is this the end of going out to the Cinema? My wife and I went to the North Town Mall to watch Star Wars, the Rise of Skywalker at Regal Cinemas. As soon as we were seated I could tell something was wrong. The previews seemed dull and distant. I tried to put my finger on the problem and concluded it was a combination of the fact that they left the lights on full and that the audio was weak and only coming from the front. Well, I suppose they will dim the lights and turn on the surround sound when the movie starts, I said to myself... but sadly I was correct on only one point. They DID dim the lights, but rather than turning on the surround sound, they proceeded to crank up the volume which sounded barely stereo and was coming from directly in front of us like a giant low-budget TV set. This created high/mid frequency spikes everytime a tie fighter flew over or someone shouted during a battle. It was... PAINFUL! We are talking about damaging decibal levels. We both had to stuff our ears with napkins. No, we were not just being extra-sensitive party poopers... I usually have a high tolerance, but this time I had to ask them to adjust it. Whatever they did didnt help. Since the rest of the system was apparently blown, they seemed to be compensating with dangeruously high volume gain in an attemt to get that immersive experience that a decent audio system would have provided with little effort. We nearly had to walk out. So, in conclusion, after missing two parts of the movie completely and wasting $30 on a very poor experience, I am concerned that Cinema as we know it may be on its last leg. I could have watched with much more pleasant results at home. Really too bad! I must say it is worth paying for parking just to go to AMC downtown which offers 10 times the experience with a much more professional presentation and super awesome (ballanced) audio!

This was a very special occasion for my father and I - it also turned out to be one of the worst of my life.I rarely go to a movie (only when hes here to help with my social anxiety issues) and so its kind of an event and tradition for us.There is no more box office. There are normal junk food lines that you can stand in to get your tickets, along with others getting concessions and/or tickets. There is no line just for tickets - we dont all want food. One ticket machine. I ended up using it because I couldnt deal with all of the noise and activity around me, while my father looked to a manager for support. When asked, the manager told us that they had changed it to this system because it was easier for the company. Pointing out that maybe its not the best system for the customer, he shrugged and said it was unfortunate but that there is the ticket kiosk, that we should just do that. He didnt know I already had.The only good takeaway was that our designated seats had people in them that informed us they had no intention of moving and so we actually ended up in a much more comfy area. Time with dad is always great ... this is the end of a tradition for us and I will miss that because hes getting older. Not a lot of things that resonate with my childhood, let alone his - one more of them gone in order to serve the business and not us.

Movie prices are crazy high anywhere you go for first run showings. Its ridiculous their app charges a $3 convince fee for booking. The reserve seating is nice and comfortable, they had very nice concessions workers, but set up in a very inefficient way. They had four lines set up, but two of the lines had to share one register. Other than that confusion, it was a standard movie going experience. I personally dislike that their bathrooms only have air dryers and dont have paper towels as an option.

Ive always liked this theater because of the freaking awesome recliner seats but today I experienced something new. I took my 3yr old to see the new how to train your dragon movie and as I was about to put the diaper bag on the floor I saw a mouse running from under her seat to the seats in front of us. I know mice are in more places than we are aware of but seeing it just makes it real and is something I would have preferred not seeing.

The pricing for concessions is way out of hand. The theatre is clean but staff can barely answer any questions or acknowledge we were standing in front of them asking something. They wanted to take a ticket and get us out of the way because they could not be bothered. We got some tickets as a gift yet they made us pay extra because of the seats that recline? Really? Pay extra for the seats that were put in years ago? The lines were amazing when they make people pick their seats so the cashiers are slow and can barely make change. No wonder I like smaller movie chains with less commercials, a lot less bodies and less slow people working for them.

I used to love this theatre! However today we went to see Us (which was very interesting!) and during the movie the fire alarm went off. Well at least thats what we are told. The alarm in our theatre did not go off! It wasnt until another patron went out to figure out why our movie shut off that we found out there was a fire alarm. We gathered our things and left the theatre but as we were leaving, they were already letting people back in the building! This felt very unsafe to me. But they told us they were starting our movies back up so we decided to stay. My friends and I were discussing getting a refill before re-entering and one of my friends mentioned that there wasnt anyone at the popcorn stand yet and a passing by employee snarkily replied that it was due to a fire evacuation despite the fact that we werent speaking to her. Customer service is very important to me and I do not appreciate being treated this way or being forgotten about when a mall wide fire alarm was going off! Every theatre should have been checked for patrons.

Seats are amazing. Also the movie choices are great. Only reason it didnt score a five is the concessions.
