We loved working with a venue that is community-minded and historically significant. Planning and hosting our local government Town Hall here was a seamless experience. The staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us set up the room and AV.

An historic nonprofit making a come back on the lower South Hill of Spokane. Club women built this clubhouse in 1910, and the women still own it. Available to the public for event and class rentals. Weddings have happened here for 110 years!

I have just gotten into vintage swing. This place has a lively energy and is perfect fir all ages, though typically college-aged adults and adults 25-75 typically go. The community here is very tight-knit but also welcoming. I started coming here regularly with my boyfriend on Thursdays. Ive learned so much and gotten in better dancing shape for it. If you want to increase your physical stamina and get over shyness, come here!

Attended an event here. Nice and clean. Good venue, but it was quite chilly the first half of the day.

Attended a wedding in the hall for a couple of ladies. That was wonderful. The venue was large and lovely.

I have been going to this club ever since I was a little girl. And here I am taking my daughter there for princess related activities. It’s such a beautiful building with so much history.

Farmers Market had only 2 different veggies. No fruit. I dont know what else is offered here, but to me the vibe was aloof.

We had our highschool reunion at this facility. It suited our needs nicely. The only thing was lack of parking, we had to park in neighborhood along street.

Using it for our church there on Sunday mornings. Always clean, kitchen available & bathrooms.

I have been a member of the Spokane Womans Club for 3 years now and I also hold my monthly INVeg potlucks there. The venue is beautiful and the volunteers to run it are wonderful!

Beautiful building and adorable artist co op gift shop

One of the best dance floors in the city. This 100 year old 4-hall clubhouse is a vibrant member-owned community center that supports itself on a combination of volunteer support and rental income from event, kitchen, and class rentals. The purpose is to support and build community. Shop at Artemesia for arts, crafts, early childhood and maternal items. In its 2nd year, the opportunity to get a cup of tea and use the wifi has added tremendously to the welcoming feel of the clubhouse. (Thank you Toni!) Those of us who live in this neighborhood very much appreciate the recent State legislative grant (and city, and personal donations) which allowed the clubhouse in 2016 to add better storage (and display) for the vintage fashion collection, better wi-fi, a commercial kitchen, air conditioning, drapes in the ballroom, a more accessible restroom, and ramp access to the front door. As it says over the front door, this is truly The Club That Bids You Welcome.
