Family owned winery inthe countryside.... anti-commercializes vibe all the way. Quaint place for wine tastings.
Phenomenal wines and authentic feel. went here right before Anaba and while the wines are great at both, Robledo’s quaint feel made it my top pick
IG: eatgoseeRobledo Family Winery has a lot going for it. The scenery on arrival is striking overlooking vineyards and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. There is a generous space here including a traditional-looking structure, courtyard area, covered patio and an inside tasting room with a large communal table where the wine-tasting happens (as well as a collection of bar stools). The family history and history of the winery is charming talking about a grower that emerged to create what you see today; the winery remains family owned with a greater focus on growing grapes for other wineries vs for their own wine production (about 80% goes to other farms, not unusual in the area). The host talks you through each bottle, the grape, the aromatics, where they are grown in the area and the other details of the journey from growing to tasting. They also teach you how to taste and nudge you towards identifying what you should taste. The wines felt more like everyday drinking wine. You can buy bottles here to take away or you can have them shipped within the U.S.This winery trip was part of the Incredible Adventures Tours. You also may want to include this winery as part of a collection of visiting other wineries in the area as opposed to a dedicated trip.Would I come back again? Not likely because there are so many outstanding wineries and vineyards within this area that I would prioritize seeing another one.
This place as amazing. I’m so grateful I visited before the shelter in place. As soon as I can I’m going back. All the wines had an amazing flavor. On my last two bottles so I need to make them last.
I have nothing but great things to say about this winery! Its in a great location with absolutely breathtaking views of the vineyards. Their building is gorgeous too.You can do outdoor or indoor seating - they have both! - for tastings which is really convenient for windier days (but otherwise Id say sit outside for the views).Their wine is DELICIOUS. Im not even a huge fan of reds but I liked theirs! I ended up buying 2 bottles after the tasting because their wine was just something I couldnt leave without! If youre struggling to pick wineries to visit in the area, dont leave this one off your list!
Best winery in SONOMA COUNTY... great chardonnay, refreshing wind rosé Merlot, delicious Pinot Noir, amazing Cabernet
Excellent Sauv Blanc, a dry Reisling and a white blend of SB, Chard and Reisling. Nice Red Blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and Temp.
Excellent wine and very chill place in Sundays.
Great people, great wines, great location!
We went back in September and the gentleman that helped us was absolutely amazing! Hands down the best experience and excellent wine! This place had a great history as well.
A place to enjoy fine wine and a view to embrace
Trey did a great job explaining the history of the winery and giving us the proper tasting techniques. Loved the vintage cabs and the Char. Worth the visit.
Great family story and some really solid wines at a good price. The tasting room is a little shabby but don’t let that deter you. Dive in to some great wines from with a great story behind them.
I had a group of 20+ people coming for my friends and my birthday. They are very chill about reservation and we ended up doing bottle services instead of tastings. Very friendly host. Definitely one the low-key side of wineries and very nice view on the patio.
Most amazing tasting experience we’ve had in Sonoma! Very intimate setting, and the wine is delicious.
Great people and fine wine, its a good combination.
Really excellent wines, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Every wine tasted was very good or better. I belong to only two wine clubs and this is one of them.
Super friendly staff! Server (Ziggy) knew a great deal of history as it related to the winery, which was an added bonus. Wasnt super impressed with wine selection, or food options. However, if youre looking for a place that isnt super pretentious, this might be your place.
Very friendly staff, small family owned winery. Great history to the place and family. Its not like the big fancy corporate wineries in Napa. Feels more homey though. Can get a bottle and relax outside at benches. Prices are reasonable and has good wine
Excellent wines and well delivered information. And not as expensive as some.
We showed up at 4pm and had a very quick and shortened tasting but the service and knowledge was fantastic. This family has put tremendous work into their craft and produced excellent products. Its very much family driven and they do not care about selling you on a wine club membership like everyone else. The red wines are fantastic; Im not a white wine person so we didnt even go down that road.
One of our favorite wineries in Sonoma! We are from Oregon and we always make a stop here. They have fantastic reds and whites, and there port is outstanding! The people who work here are also so fantastic, super helpful and poor great tastings.
Good place to learn about some good wines
Great Wine, very good customer service, good wine and very nice environment.
Jimmy help us in the tasting, he was really nice we felt welcomed and the wine is really delicious
Decent wine-tasting. I would have liked talking to a wine-maker and getting some more background, but I understand this one was more tailored to the beginner-level wine drinkers.
Great wine selections, super friendly hosts. A great time.
Great wines! Wonderful family run business. I would highly recommend taking time to stop in at this winery.
Dan the server was exceptionally knowledgeable. All the wines in the reserve tasting were exceptional, especially the Cab!
Great knowledgeable staff with fantastic tasting wine.
One of our favorites. Fantastic Syrah, Port, and Tempranillo. Friendly family winery
