Good coffee, excellent service, and tasty food! French dip made for a great lunch

First time visit today. Super friendly staff, clean, and great cold brew pumpkin pie flavored coffee. Did I mention they have awesome prices too?

I had a London Fog Hot Tea made with almond milk, quiche & cinnamon roll. They also have coconut, regular or soy milk. You have to see this place for yourself. They have a great menu for breakfast & lunch. They also have nice art that you can purchase & few other things. You can sit inside or outside.

I visited here earlier this week to break the monotony of working from home. I ordered a ham/ Gouda cheese croissant and a small regular coffee. Everything was FANTASTIC! I dont think I could ever drink Starbucks coffee again. The coffee was absolutely the best I have ever had. The staff was super friendly as well, and the prices are reasonable. This will definitely be my go-to spot for a working lunch.

Loved this place! Had the fortune of meeting the owner my first time trying local places near my new office. Super rad corners to hide in, delicious foods, and the fruit tea did not disappoint. Will be back!

This place as a great vibe to it its not your normal coffee shop either its a coffee shop where everyone is welcomed with open arms also on Friday nights they have live music between 4-8pm also same time on Saturday Nights they have board games and cards night which is also fun and a easy way to meet new friends I love it there its a infinite Stars for me

We had a cappuccino, monkey bread muffin, and a cinnamon roll ! It was the very best ! We had seen this place on NPT, and went to check it out. A hip, quaint house, turned coffee shop ! Local music and fun ! We will definitely go back !

Great little coffe place, grab a cup any time I come into town

This is a great place, especially for breakfast. Me and a friend went here one morning and I ordered the ham & cheese croissant sandwich. It tasted awesome. You can also get specialty coffee there or just a normal all-you-can-drink cup of Joe for about $2. And the sandwich was only about $5. Service was also nice, we got our food promptly and with a smile. I will definitely be eating here for breakfast again. They even have gluten free options!

Ive lived in Lavergne for about a year and have been missing (and searching for) a place just like this. So glad to have found it. Just had an amazing breakfast with my beautiful girlfriend. We will be back soon!

Waited 35 mins for 2 sandwiches when we were the only customers here. This place sadly has gone downhill. They don’t carry the bottled sodas like they use to, no more flatbreads but now just sandwiches which anyone can make at home. It’s unfortunate that this place hasn’t kept up to their standards. Will definitely not be coming back.

A Smyrna staple. The staff is always friendly when you walk in, and its evident that they truly care about quality coffee. They roast their own brew blends in house and offer a nice variety of foods. The shop is cozy, offering plenty of seating as well as a small game room, and even host local musicians on the patio. Great place to stop by or hang out for a bit.

Kind and attentive service, good music, and always good food. Love their support of community artists and musicians. This quaint Cafe is defined by its character displayed on the walls as well as the tables that have been painted by local artists.This place feels like home.

Very cool place.- The atmosphere and location are really really neat and creative- They seem to be very involved in improving the community and have advice in the cafe of how to get involved- The cold-brew coffee was delicious. The staff member messed up my drink but was very friendly and eager to make it right.The place was DEAD when we were there, I hope that business improves as this seemed to be a great part of the area

Carpe Cafe is my jam, gotta love the excellent choice in coffee, great atmosphere, very supportive of the arts and a real benefit to local musicians such as myself. Located right on the square at the round about in front of the railroad tracks. They provide live music outside in the summer which sounds awesome!

Super cute place. Not very big at all. I did order a iced chai latte and received it hot. And my egg souffle was basically just microwaved eggs. And they only had 3 people on staff for a Saturday at lunch. So service was a little slow. Husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and absolutely loved it. So I would recommend that.

Cute atmosphere but not impressed. Ordered a cappuccino, got served in a to go cup (if I wanted that I’d have gone to Starbucks). Asked for a mug and when it was poured it was nothing more than hot milk and mediocre coffee. Got 3 stars because they have a patio where I could plug in my computer so I could work. The people are friendly too!

Carpe cafe feeds my husband & I at least2-3 times a week! We like the chicken salad croissant & all of the soups we have tried are delicious. We have also had a breakfast from there & were pleased. Desserts are great & its hard to pick just one! We recommend this relaxing little spot very much!

We were looking for a unique local sandwich spot to have lunch during a trip to the area. This place fit the bill. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much. The menu offered lots of options. This is a great option for those interested in avoiding the monotony of chain restaurants.

Souffle was microwaved scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole was the frozen hash browns heated up with some cheese. I ate about half of my food before I gave up. What made it worse is that this took 20+ mins to come out. If food is going to take long it should at least be hand made, not something pulled out of a freezer and heated in a microwave.

Creative environment, community based coffee shop. Very sweet baristas, willing to help you decide or willing to try new recipes to make customers satisfied with whats in their cup! Also last time i went i tried a whole grain croissant (never even heard of that) sandwich with egg, ham and cheese. It comes highly recommended. Also dont forget to grab a punch card to earn a free drink!

In historic district. Great selections of coffees and a hummingbird cake to die for. Baristas are knowledgeable and very friendly. Local acoustic musicians. Quality location and comparable to big name coffee shops. Worth a visit for the HUMMINGBIRD CAKE! Christian.

Staff was most pleasant. Owner, Ron, is an energetic individual, with a vision. The Peruvian coffee was rich, tasty and gave me a good Buzz. Will make a trip to go back tomorrow for more.

They had a great selection of coffee, both drinks and beans (even saw some house-brand K-Cups), to complement their selection of baked goods and a relatively modest food offering. They seemed quite busy but the staff were very personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend if youre anywhere in the area or looking to explore.

Quaint little place for coffee, tea, food and music. Mark Henes was singing and playing guitar while we were there. He sounds great and definitely knows how to strum! I had the Cuban Sandwich, my BFF selected the French Dip. Sandwiches are huge, you get your moneys worth for sure! Mine was delicious and the BFF said it was the best French Dip shes ever eaten. The fact they give back to the community makes it a place worth checking out.

Carpe Cafe Had some of the best coffee Ive had in a long time! I got the Small Machiatto abd it was GREAT! I also ordered the breakfast casserole and it was made with eggs, Han abs cheese and it was hit abd delicious! My wife got the Quiche and it was very good too! Service was great! We will be back soon!
