This theater is a gem! I have been to several plays and have enjoyed each one. The actors and actresses give top notch performances and, quite honestly, I’m impressed with the level of talent they have for local productions! The physical theater itself is small and intimate, but it provides for there not being a bad seat in the house. The lighting, sound and sets enhance the overall performance as well. The cost for tickets is very reasonable so if you find a play that you are interested in at the theater, do yourself a favor and go.

Inside and outside, the theater is gorgeous. It may be a little theater, but its big on charm.The play was outstanding. The acting, the singing, the dancing...I never felt like I was at a simple community theater, more like a big production one. The cast was very talented. Meeting them afterwards was great because they were very personable.Going to get season passes next year.

This institution is a jewel in Shreveports crown. All seats are great in this small, intimate theater. Directors and actors are at the top of their games. A great variety of plays are on the dais.

Our experience at the Shreveport little theater was wonderful. The performers were very very talented and we really enjoyed it. It is avery nice facility and a nice evening out. I would recommend it.

Exceptional theatre! Every seat is incredible. There are literally no bad seats at this venue. Cozy. Yummy concessions available. Wide variety of shows offered every season. Reasonable ticket prices.

Wonderful productions on a regular basis. It amazes me the quality the actors and support staff are able to consistently deliver, irregardless of the production. We have renewed our annual subscription which is a testament to what they do and the productions chosen.

They did a fantastic version of Miracle on 34th Street!

Child friendly environment. My youngest was attentive from start to finish. Alice in Wonderland Jr. was an extremely enjoyable production. I look forward to returning to view another play. Very professional and welcoming. Truly entertaining!

I always love attending plays here! The actors and actresses are professional and so adorable!! :) The theater is very small, so its a little crowded when the play ends. The characters are always happy to pose for pictures with you! That makes it super fun and a very memorable experience.

SLT never disappoints!! The cast of Memphis the Musical was awesome. I was shocked that they could put 30 + people on that stage but they did it. They are pushing the envelope all the time and they hit this ball right out of the park. Cant wait to see another performance at Shreveport Little Theatre.

This is just a beautiful place. Its an intimate theater with the front row audience close to the stage. Productions are well done and many of the communitys most seasoned performers are cast regulars. You can also see fresh new talent when they include their academy students in productions. They present a summer musical as well as a fall to spring season presenting 5 plays or musicals, this year including Of Mice and Men and On Golden Pond. Its good community theater using amateur and seasoned actors. Its a true asset to Shreveport. If you like live theater, youll like SLT.

The building is beautiful. The employees were wonderful and helpful. The play/musical we saw was absolutely perfect. I would definitely go again.

The play Footloose was wonderful and the building is great. My only complaint is the sound system. I have good hearing and had to strain to hear the dialogue and some of the songs. My friend is somewhat hard of hearing and couldnt enjoy it because she could barely make out anything that was being said.

I saw the musical, Memphis! It was phenomenal! When the lead male vocalist, Brady Hodgson, sang his solos, his voice mesmerized the audience and for a moment, time and everything else in the world seemed to stand still. There were several other male vocalists who also had such strong and powerful voices that were absolutely amazing! The talent on that stage far exceeded my expectations, particularly the male performers. The lead female vocalist was also superb, but there were several moments where just a little more coaching would benefit her for future performances. Still, she excelled in so many other areas, that you can help but excuse any of her shortcomings.I laughed, I cried, I was angered, and I was ashamed. And to everyone who saw it, It was a hockado kind of night!!!

I went to a production of Crowns written by Ragina Taylor. It was a wonderfully cast production. The theater is small but well equipped for the profuction. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
