With the exception that they have decently cheap drink specials, theres not much else going for it. The past two times Ive gone, the bathrooms were occupied with couples not peeing but using the bathroom for other disgusting reasons that you could clearly hear from outside the door. The female bartender with some male name had me wait upwards of 7 minutes before she decided to stop her side conversation and actually serve drinks. She then couldnt even pretend to be happy to be bartending and was so rude the remainder of the evening. What a joke. Never again will I go somewhere to be treated so terribly.
The Cheers for the service industry of Shreveport. If youre looking for a bartender who genuinely loves hearing about your drama, this is the place. Usually you can rule the jukebox if its not busy. They pour with a heavy hand, there are almost ten taps of (mostly) craft beer, some local. But you can get everything else in a can or a bottle. Great place to meet up with a small group or sit by yourself at the bar in a cloud of your own cigarette smoke. Expect to smell like it regardless of whether or not you partake.
Great dive bar. Locals know this low-key place for its no frills, divey goodness. Better on weekdays, imho.
Ivans is a friendly neighborhood bar that youll feel welcome in regardless of who you are. If Brittany and Susie are bartending, doubly so.
Suzie makes an authentic New Orleans hurricane, and always smiling! This place is a diamond in the rough.
Very chill neighborhood bar with great staff.
Beloved local dive. Free Wi-Fi, trivia on Tuesdays
Ivans Rocks!
