What an awesome place!! Visiting from out of town. Very cool place and the staff is amazing and friendly. Sri o prices are reasonable and made very well. This will be my new hang out when visiting.

I love this bar. It’s a great taste of what the local gay scene of Shreveport is like. Not a club or a rave, just a cool place with cool people. Trivia is awesome and drag bingo too. The owner is friendly and the bartenders are heavy handed.

Absolutely great service. The bartender/owner, Jason, is so sweet and fun to hang out with!! Totally recommend a trip here for cheap but GREAT drinks. Totally made my birthday better than I expected!!!

Korner has a wonderful and chill atmosphere. I often come here to relax and hangout with friends. The bartenders are so nice and know how to make great drinks. Highly recommended.

This is probably the best example of what the Shreveport LGBT community looks like. Low-key, comfortable, welcoming, & awesome. They have special events like trivia, drag bingo, & leather night that spice things up regularly, but if you are looking for a neighborhood bar then this is definitely the place to go.

Such an awesome atmosphere! I come from Texarkana just to visit this bar. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly, and Jason the owner is just down right amazing. If you’ve never been here come check it out!

My understanding is that this is the second oldest continously run gay bar in the United states. It has the feel of a lounge and at night on the weekends it really gets going with music and lights. It also has a touch tunes so you can play music that you like! Highly recommended!

The fact that this bar is in a military town is amazing! I’ve been to many Air Force bases in cities that have no type of “alternative lifestyle” bars anywhere near. Not to mention the owner is amazing and very friendly and Thomas, the bartender, awesome! Very welcoming and comfortable environment! I wish I lived here! I would definitely come back to visit and I’d be sure to make Korner Lounge my main go-to bar!

Love this place! Great owner and bartenders, great prices. Often a little loud for my tastes, but thats just me.

Loved the atmosphere. My wife and I met a really nice couple there and talked most of the night. The drinks were pretty good and the place was packed. The only downside was the size. The bar was so cramped we could barely walk through to use the restroom. Other than that we loved the place, and will more than likely revisit very soon!

Hands down the best gay bar in the shreveport/bossier area! A must see. The service is on point, the drinks are as good as the prices, and the atmosphere is unforgettable. Very diverse and fun crowd, the staff are very personable and friendly. Fun and interactive ie: Drag bingo, trivia nights and karaoke all make for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended. Korner bar was the first bar that I ever came to when I moved up here from Fort Polk. Since day one this has been a place of acceptance and encouragement. I’d come here again and again!

Great place to be! The bar is very inviting with friendly and fast service while offering various forms of entertainment throughout the week. The owner and his staff are very involved with the community, always up to date on current events going on with the lgbtq community! If your checking out the area or looking for somewhere to be I would highly suggest stoping in!

I have been coming this bar for 3 years now and it’s one of my favorite spots in SBC. The staff is amazing and my friends and I always have the best tome. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Korner lounge in Shreveport La is the 2nd longest continuously running Gay bar in the tri state area...not only is it history, it is just as magical today as it was then. Ive always felt comfortable there and had the best strongest drinks in town!

So my friend was celebrating a bday and he had never been to korner lounge before but he was crazy about central station well it was friday and central doesnt have a show on that day but they have karaoke, i went ahead and brought him here and when i tell you we were greeted with smiles and so much love i just felt like i was at home. The bartenders were amazing and we dranked, dance, and enjoyed every minute of it. Dont ask me if their drinks were expensive cause i cant remember how much they were i literally threw my money at them after i sipped my first drink and others bought me more afterwards hunty. Love the atmosphere here. *snap snap* yah are amazing!

Friendly Atmosphere

For me, coming from Texas. I was discouraged to see a sign near the entrance door that says Theres a two drink minimum. I was planning on bar hoping so one drink would have been fine for me. But two drinks? Oh no.... Being a small establishment isnt always a bad thing. Mixed crowd on the dress attire. Everything from business casual to casual clothing. Unfortunately I didnt stay long, I didnt order a drink. :-(

For a night out, visit the Korner Lounge. Jason and his staff are always happy to deliver good times with affordable drinks. You can count on them to get you off to a great start when drinking. I love the bingo nights and of you havent been for Karaoke, you are missing out.

I love this place its great for a get together with friends I love karaoke and they have the most beautiful bartender in town the only bad thing is the alcohol seems watered down and the really big guy that sometimes does the karaoke is extremely rude if they did away with that crazy douch me and my BF would be there alot more often but its still amazing I love the atmosphere

Rude and boring...at least pick only one. One beer and out. Very unwelcoming. Went to another club and danced till 4am!!

Friendly staff and patrons. This is a gay bar, not a pick up spot for straight couples that are in from out of town. Everyone knows everyone here, very tight know community.
