Bring a jacket!!! Its like theyre ready for big crowds but theres not many people. I feel perfectly virus safe. And theres some movies coming out now AS GOOD AS the pre covid days!

We were able to rent a theater tonight for our own family group of 9 and stay safe and spreadout, we had a great time!

The excitement about going back to the movies was crushed after going to the movies today. My husband and I bought popcorn and 2 waters. My husband goes back to a refill and was informed that they are not doing free refills currently. Well no one told us that, and the line we were in had no sign specifying that. Why would we spend that much money on ONE thing of popcorn. When my husband tried to talk to someone about, they only kept repeating “no free refills at this time”. Extremely disappointed with the lack of information given and the lack of resolution provided by the staff.

In terms of movie quality, sound, price, and friendliness this is by far the BEST movie theater Ive been to! It also looks cool and has a game section and food stand which is cool. Cinemark also offers free upgrades and gives you points which you can claim for rewards if you sign up with them.I highly highly recommend this place!

I always love Tinseltown! It was actually quite nice that there were very few people in the theater, there were maybe 6 others besides my son and I.

First time back to the movies since COVID. Great prices to get customers back. Issues with the sound in the movie and the bar was closed :( No condiments for your popcorn either!

Doesnt hire employees back that worked there before pandemic. Tells employees they dont have budget to rehire them but hires new employees at same position. When their team (who dedicated hours to make you money and provide amazing customer service) needed them most they left them out to dry. Thats more then just bad business. That makes you bad people and I dont know about you but I dont do business with bad people.

This is the only place we go to watch movies in the area. The recliner seats are ten times more comfortable than older seating designs. I would love to see them figure out how to improve the speed of the concession stand.

Excellent theater, if you havent been to Tinseltown lately, you should. They renovated their theaters with wonderful reclining seats that let you enjoy the movie alone or cuddled up to your loved one. Plus, theyve added club membership that annually reduces your viewing cost.

When I say this is my new favorite movie theater. OMG. the seating alone is enough to win that title. Actual recliners? Being able tocuddle with your date if that’s your thing? This place is the absolute best and not anymore expensive than the uncomfortable theaters.

We seen to movies in one night. The day after Thanksgiving I paid for bout 10 of us to see Queen and Slim, it wasnt what I thought it would be. Very nice theater and we also seen Frozen it was amazing!

I love this theater, but for the past few months, whenever I go to see a movie, no matter when the movie is showing or how long it has been out they act like most of the seats have already been sold. I took my daughter to see little women a week ago and there were almost no seats available. We decided that we would just sit in different parts of the theater. When we got in there it was mostly empty. After the movie started there may have been 5 other people in there. Why did they act like most of the seats were sold out? The same thing happened when we went to see Jumanji. The only seats available were in the front row. Half way through the movie we realized that we were the only people in there. I love this theater, but whatever is going on with reserved seating needs to be fixed. Until then I’m giving two stars.

Enjoyed the movie theater. The customer service is great, too many people for me to remember. The lady accepting tickets was friendly. The young lady at the concession, the guys at the alcohol bar, and the teens that were sweeping & cleaning were all friendly. The movie theater itself was clean and had police officers hanging around. The popcorn & soda was fresh. Ordered a Jack & Coke from the bar, the flavors were good but I never got a real buzz. Not sure how much alcohol is in the daiquiri itself, might be worth just getting a bottled beer.

Cant beat their 5$ retro movie specials and they even haveoffers for people that atttend quite a few movies during the month

Best movie theater in Shreveport. They have reclining seats. They also sell alcohol. All they need now is real real food, to be on par with big city movie theaters such as Studio Movie Grill and Alamo Drafthouse.

My friends and I love coming here but after my little brother and his friends were going to go see a movie for his birthday and yes my Dad was with them they were only 13&14 years old. 3 boys of different cultures and the guy at the ticket booth said that my Dad cant prove that 1 of the boys was not his child so they should go rent from the Red Box .. Never that this place was that PETTY

I loved the hospitality of the workers. The movie was great. Young people need to see this movie because the theme of the movie is still happening on today.

Poorly ran place, one ticket booth open on a Saturday night with 70 people in line, one person checking tickets to get in and one ticket kiosk. This process will make you miss half the movie. Tinseltown use to be good.

I love going to the movies! Popcorn and a coke.... This theater even has the luxury loungers. Roomy seats, good eats-a perfect way to watch a movie!

Love the loungers - so much better of a movie experience than traditional seating. Also a fan of the bar they have. As with all theaters in Shreveport, the bathrooms are usually a bit on the dirty side, but not nearly as bad as the Boardwalk.

The reclining seats are amazing and the theaters are always very clean

We ended up seeing Frozen 2, and this was the first time we went with the new recliner chairs.The movie ended up being far better than the first, but the way the chairs are set up we were all able to cuddle up in one big bundle and enjoy the movie together.

Nice theater, love the reclining seats. Only negative some of the arcade games take your money. But its our go to movie theater.

Seats awesome. Tickets fair price. Drinks and snacks are ridiculously priced. Staff friendly. Would give five star but the drink and snack prices are seriously to high.

We had a wonderful time! Super comfy seats, and the bartender Shaw really made all the difference in our experience. He was very friendly and even had a large selection of creative custom cocktails that he crafted himself to go along with the movies that are currently out! Thanks Shaw!

Tinseltown has been in Shreveport for a number of years but it still looks new. Th building is always well taken care of and updated. They have an alcohol bar and tons of snacks. Tuesdays are 50 percent of tickets and thats a deal! There is handicapped seating available. The screen are in perfect condition and the new chairs recline and the feet go up. Overall great place to watch a movie and glad we have it in Shreveport.

I love to come here all the time its a nice place to come, but only problem is the concession workers are so rude. I wanted to order two angus hot dogs and it required them to make it they didnt want to make it so they said the machine was down. On my way out i saw the worker making him a hot dog. I was really upset and i havent been back since...

Just went to a movie there today at 12:55, none of the towel dispensers or hand dryers worked in the women’s restroom! I could understand if it was Kate in the day but this was the 2nd time slot. Totally unacceptable. I won’t be back!!!

My favorite place to catch a movie!!! Not too busy, the staff is always friendly... Concession prices are bearable, but lower than other places. The theaters are always clean! And yes, the bathroom are on point when I need to go after a long movie!! My Fandago apps makes it even better!!!Thumbs up!!!

I like this theater a lot! The seats are super comfortable and the popcorn is good. Some of the concession staff are not helpful or friendly. I have been here several times this summer, but I think I will just skip the snacks next time. There are a few restaurants close by.

This is a great movie theater. They have a great membership rewards program. You get to pick your seats online to guarantee a good spot. The only thing I have a problem with is Ive been to several movies where the seats were still dirty with popcorn and one time our chair had chocolate melted onto the seat. I feel like the seats should definitely be wiped down before the next movie starts. Other than the mess Ive not had a bad experience. Oh and they serve alcohol!

Lounger chairs are very comfortable you can put your feet 90 degrees up while watching the movie leather big seats with huge armrest and cupholder. Lots leg room plus divider wall on every aisles.

Our family spends a lot of time here. Sometimes I have to ask for fresh popcorn and the lines for concession are pretty lengthy but besides that it’s great.

Used to enjoy it but after years of coming, they decide they want to ID this time. Which is fine, it’s rated R, but didn’t have my ID cause we’ve never had to have it. We’re obviously over 17. Except, several people ahead of us weren’t ID’d for rated R movies and instead of asking both me and my husband, she says “I’m gonna need to see her ID.” She didn’t need my husbands. And proceeded to say “Unless you’re her dad, I can’t let her in.” I’m 24 years old and that “dad” is my husband. I get you have to ID for rated R movies however, you need to ID everybody and not make relationship assumptions. Incredibly rude.

Had a great time although the price of things are a bit high al together it was fun.

It was a really nice establishment. They have a lot of convenient ways to get tickets. Including a ticket kiosk on the inside. They have many concessions and they sell merch. They had captain marvel t-shirts when I was there. Its a big establishment so if you have children keep a close eye on them. They also have a arcade, a small one, but a semi-nice one. Be careful who you sit by though. The last time I went I sat by 2 girls that couldnt shut up for the life of me. They were talking loud and everything. Also, dont sit in the front row, you can do that in small theaters and still see the screen, but not here. Overall its a nice place to have a good time.

Was attacked in Theater with my son. Some person was snoring 4 seats away from me for 30 minutes. Another customer said something to the person with the snorer. Lady with snorer started to yell and cuss. I thought a fight was about to start, so I went to get the manager. Told manager what was going on. He made me go to where the yelling was. Woman with snorer started cussing me out. This happen on top row. So I walked back down and around to get back to my seat. The woman was still there. Now she is yelling and cussing me out.

Our family absolutely loves Tinseltown! We are apart of the movie club and its worth every penny that I save from it. The seating is amazing! My husband and I have been Tinseltown movie goers for a little over 12 years now.

Warning, long post but ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) laws were not followed. Also, an off duty LEO with his badge & duty weapon is denied entry. Federal law states that off duty officers are permitted to carry everywhere except the following 3 places: mental facilities, correctional facilities, & courthouses (in some cases).Today my husband took our special needs daughter out for their daddy/daughter date. She really wanted to see the new #JumanjiTheNextLevel. After buying tickets at #CinemarkTinseltownShreveport, they went inside. The “ticket lady” told them they weren’t allowed entry. At first she tells them they can’t come in because of her backpack, to which my husband tells her it’s a medical backpack. (Which we carry everywhere.) She did not ask to search it, not ask to be shown the inside (which he would’ve gladly done), & the straps have Velcro medical emblem attached. After he tells her that, she then says “well, you still can’t come in because of your weapon.” He is a deputy & was off duty, to which he ALWAYS wears his badge & gun. He has many, many times to Tinseltown Shreveport & never been told to leave or had anyone said anything to him. He even tried to talk to the manager & was told the same things & if he had a problem to just call the 1-800 number. So, they left & my daughter was seriously upset for a while.I dropped everything, drove all the way over there, & went to talk to the manager myself. When I arrived, I took pictures of their policy at the ticket booth. I tried to educate the manager that they broke ADA laws by denying entry because of her medical bag. He proceeded to tell me his personal story of his understanding of the ADA laws. He also said he was unaware it was a medical bag at all (which is completely untrue). They did not ask to search the bag ever & that their policy won’t allow them to search bags (wrong, their policy states “Cinemark reserves the right to inspect all bags & packages entering the theatre” it also states “medical equipment bags & diaper bags are exempt” from being denied.He then told me he didn’t have a problem with my husband’s weapon & had he known he was a deputy, he would’ve just been asked to conceal it. (Which is also untrue. his badge is 4 inches from his gun & in plain sight as well. He also told my husband that he understood because his father was a deputy & he knew the law. But his statement also contradicts what their policy states & what we were both told. Make up your minds please). Obviously, he doesn’t know the law. According to the ADA, “Places of public accommodation may not discriminate against people with disabilities & may not deny full & equal enjoyment of the goods & services they offer.” I was also told just to call the 1-800 number if I had a problem. Only excuses were given.Now I am a military & LEO wife & fully support the right to carry. I also understand & respect the right for businesses to deny entry for open carry. But understand, they go to the movies very often & have NEVER had a problem with her backpack OR his duty weapon. My problem is her being denied entry for her medically necessary backpack, how devastated & upset she was, & then them changing their stories when called out on it. There is so much more that was said, but this is the gist of what happened. We will not be stepping foot in another #Tinseltown unless the employees receive proper training & education on how to handle situations like this.

Man the new recliner style seats are definitely whats up!! They made some serious changes and the comfort level is outta this world!! Its not like it used to be with the people in the row behind you putting their feet all on ur seat or pulling ur hair by accident or not! You wont even know there are people behind you, unless theres some just unreasonably loud people there. We had a great time, no problems at all! The price is high, but definitely worth it!!

Had a great experience at Tinseltown, no long lines and the employees were very friendly and polite. The only disappointment was the movie we saw the lion king. This movie is nothing like the original cartoon version, the adults and kids were falling asleep due to the boredom of it all. The songs that you would normally sing along with, you were wondering why did they remake the songs to sound like this. I had to go home and rewatch the cartoon so I wouldnt lose the reason why I fell in love with the movie in the first place.

We went and saw Aqua Man on Christmas Day. The seats were awesome. Place was clean. I like that you can put your own butter on your popcorn. Best cinema in the Shreveport/Bossier City. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back.

I love Tinseltown. Over the last 20 years or so, my family has enjoyed hundreds of films & memories. Plus the seats recline!

Great place to see your favorite movies. Seating is reserved and they have the most comfortable seats in town by far. Concessions are expensive but are in line with other movie houses in the area. The only down side is that the rest rooms are not always well maintained, and is why I took 1 star off. The cinemark app makes it easy to check showtimes and purchase tickets online without having to wait in line.

Its always nice, it was a little dirtier than normal on the inside and outside. Seats were comfortable and service was great.

Had a blast watching Endgame with my son. Only downside was not putting prices on combo meals. Just telling someone that theyre going to save a $1 or .75 cents really doesnt help patrons. Nice bar area too, but I feel like thats just a bit much. I understand that some people sneak things in but kids dont need to have such things to look forward to. Movies should be a family friendly atmosphere. Its not a 70s drive-in.

Purchased tickets to “A star is born”. My toddler had to go to the bathroom, so we went and when we where walking back to the theater an employee said that they do not let kids in a rated R movie after 6:00. The proceeded to escort us out. The manager refunded the cost of the ticket. But I was not concerned of the money. We just wanted to watch a movie!Our movie started at 6:50. Why could not have told me this when I purchased the tickets instead of when I was halfway into the movie? I understand the policy they have pertaining to kids and rated R movies. However they should have informed me when I bought the tickets, not have kicked us out halfway through the movie! I am VERY upset!

This theater used to be a solid five stars. Until the last few months.Each time I have gone, there have been a consistent three things that need some serious attention from the staff.1. Seats. The last two times, at least, a film Ive walked into has had sticky candy or soda on the recliners. These are otherwise extremely comfortable, and could just use a little TLC during cleanup - rather than just sweeping.2. Refills. When you purchase a large popcorn & drink, you get a one time day of refill on each. Tonight, I stepped out of my movie to get a refill and had to wait in the normal concession line for 15 minutes. Now, I know it was my choice to step out for a refill, but why not have an employee dedicated to refills or perhaps a sectioned off area purposefully for refilling products?3. Phone patrol. Speaking of dedicating employees to specific jobs, one or two should patrol the films during play. Walk up and down the side stair cases listening for people talking during the film, or people playing on their phones (which happens nearly every movie.)Now, a highlight is definitely the movie club. The discounted snacks, no fees, CineMode rewards. Totally worth the 9 dollars a month. Not a bad theater, just could use some work.

I absolutely love this theater. I went to see Bohemian Rhapsody with a good friend of mine. We loved the reclining seats and thoroughly enjoyed the music from the movie thru the sound system. It really was worth the money to have that experience.

Went to see the original Ghostbusters!! Good popcorn, comfy seats, seats are alot better than the Boardwalk. Clean Clean Clean all the way around.

Its a pretty cool theater. I love that they have electric recliners. For locals, this theater may just be another one of the many you can go to, but if youre visiting the city or family, it is definitely worth going to for the experience and comfort.

I took my daughter, nieces and nephews here for my baby birthday December 24, 2018 I think they should have a deal for groups because it can get expensive but over all the kids had fun.
