I planned the company Christmas Party for Martin Specialty Coatings, LLC at ArtSpace and it was truly the easiest party I have ever planned. They took care of decor, food, beverage, and all we had to do was find entertainment. They were easy to work with, prepared and punctual.

I worked with the team at Artspace to organize and host the Louisiana Travel Associations board of directors meeting. The service was absolutely exceptional and the food prepared by Southern Fork Catering was so scrumptious. Most of the board members are from South Louisiana, and they couldnt stop complimenting the space and food. Id definitely host a meeting there again in the near future.

My husband and I had an awesome party at Artspace in August. The staff was wonderful to work with and took care of every detail. So nice to host a party and all you have to do is show-up and enjoy the evening because everything has been taken care of.

Artspace is a wonderful venue in downtown Shreveport where you can enjoy an eclectic array of arts from around the country and world. It also has doubled for major local and national events and the team is tops as far as service is considered. We hosted our Shreveport QProm event there and the space functioned perfectly for our needs.

This was a wonderful venue for our daughters wedding. Lindsey and her staff were exceptional in helping with all the details and making sure everything went as planned. Tim Smith did have a chair that collapsed right as the ceremony was beginning;; however that was not the fault of Artspace. I had rented those chairs from an outside vendor. I do plan to let that company know what happened!

When I visited Art Space, they were featuring several artists who were there during the day time to discuss their work with anyone who was interested. My kids, ages 5 and 10, spent a good while talking to an artist who worked with silk, wool, and fabric derived from bamboo. Her work was fascinating and my kids loved the experience.

This is an amazing cultural gem in Shreveport. Artspace regularly hosts exhibitions of local artists work, including my personal favorite Critical Mass, a mass showing of artists from all over the ArkLaTex. Its always worth it just to stop in and see what they have on show.

Phenomenal art gallery that is free to the public, exhibits constantly changing bringing impressive works into the heart of downtown Shreveport. The space can also be rented for any gathering or function one has in mind with full catering options available. Would highly recommend visiting artspace and showing support to such a valuable piece of Shreveports culture.

This gallery is a bright spot for the city offering innovative art show, classes, and events. It is affiliated with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council and uses the space to both show local artists and bring in national and international talent. They have a gift shop and are attached to Parish Taceaux. Ask about childrens parties, camps, and art classes.

The food is incredibly fresh and well crafted by a real chef. You cant get a better lunch anywhere in town. One of the only places in town where everything is not deep fried. Great selection with unique sandwiches, salads, and daily specials. Can be a little pricey for lunch, but worth it.

From spidery-rooted botanicals and impressionistic portraits by regional artists to a gigantic steamboat as pirate ship as imagined by Wolfbat (Dennis McNett) and aggressive cardboard caricatures created by Wayne White, this 4-level art emporium typically has a wide range of art on its walls and floors.Daytime parking is by street meters or by a large, free lot owned by adjacent Methodist church. Admission is free, though some music-and-food-filled receptions may have a cover charge.Gift shop features jewelry and fabric pieces by regional artists. One reason that Artspace Shreveport is so visually appealing is that it is a huge historic storefront restoration. The gleaming wood floors and gigantic walls are a striking canvas for art.Theres also a cafe - which at the moment it is being relocated downstairs. At any rate, local cooks work hard at presenting cool sandwiches and hot soups at lunch.Creative director of Artspace is artist and filmmaker William Joyce (Academy Award for the short, The Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore, creator of animated features such as Robots, 2005, Meet the Robinsons, 2007, Rise of the Guardians, 2012). Films and sketches by Joyce and his collaborators - he is founder of Moonbot Studios - are regularly featured here.

I expected more from this place. The concept is great, and the art is awesome to look at. I usually eat at the diners downtown as they are closer to my office than getting in my car and driving. I ordered the turkey ruben and their version of chicken tortilla soup. The ruben was very lackluster; it seemed as if they just threw the stuff together on the sandwhich and put in on the press. I can deal with that, but the soup is what convinced me to not go back. There was a total of 3 tortilla chips with the soup to crumble up for the soup. In addition, they apparently did not debone the chicken for the soup well, because in two seperate bites of a cup of the soup, I bit into cartilage. I will admit, the service was friendly though, which is what brought this review up to good from poor.
