Staff was the worst. They staff was upset my son kept wanting to get on one trampoline. I guess he wanted to just do nothing wow. The rest of staff so unorganized i couldnt even pay for water. The place was dirty and stinky ewww covid nest i aould never go again
Overall this place was a blast. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars was the fact that it was a bit of a drive and they need a location in North Kansas City as well as the employees at the front didnt really tell what all was offered with our POGO Pass. The center is so much better than just a trampoline place. Our kids had a blast
It was fine I guess. My friends and I had fun, but the staff was a mess. One teenage boy specifically was creepy and followed us places. The rest of the staff was a bunch of teenagers not actually working, but simply hanging out and playing with each other. Then when we asked to see the manager one of them lied and said they were the manager, then preceded to do nothing. We asked to talk to the manager again later, and a different person came out and was actually polite and very good at his job. Would go again, but need to work on staff they hire.
We are there almost weekly (6-8 kids each time) and many times they are severely understaffed. Half the features aren’t open. Example is today: my older son couldn’t play dodgeball for over 90 minutes after we arrived. The manager is awesome, patient and understanding when we discuss but there isn’t much he can do about the staffing provided to him.
Nice place. Me and my family had fun. Kids where happy. But they need more staff members.
Kids love it and it’s pretty clean... the staff could be more fun and it takes forever to check in but if the kids are happy while dripping sweat, I say it’s worth 5 stars ;)
The staff at this place are so beyond amazing!!! There are so many reasons I recommend this place and WILL be coming back often. There was a pretty red headed girl at the counter who was kind and helpful and went above and beyond to make my personal experience there a lot of fun as a parent. Also this particular Skyzone has so much more than just trampolines. As an adult I had so much fun doing all the stuff. I felt like a kid again!!
Came to celebrate my twins birthday (no party just to play). Everyone had a great time and they were having awesome giveaways! My son won a free pizza and was thrilled.Facilities are clean and well staffed and the manager was AWESOME!We will DEFINITELY be back!
Skyzone is awesome, my son is autistic and the staff there have been so great with him. Anyone with special needs children should no this is a great and safe place for them.
This is a great place to get some exercise. The staff were nice and helpful as well.
Its pretty cool. The Sky amp probably wouldnt be the best. If u ask somebody to open a part up like dogeball theyll be lazy and tell u to ask somebody else.
Came here for a friends childs birthday. After paying, found out half of the activities were closed. Halfway into our time, an employee walks up and tells us we have to have skysocks at $5 per pair for our kids to jump. Kicks our 3 and 5 year olds off the trampoline until we buy them. This is not posted anywhere in the ticket purchasing area, and no one said anything for the first hour. Never again.
Awesome. Food and drinks still overpriced /pizza was staled... kid did have fun thou thanks.
Wow. We just waited 35 minutes in line to check in! There were about 6 people ahead of us when we walked in. After about 15 minutes, they finally opened up a second cashier. Almost immediately, that cashier got stuck and couldnt figure out what to do. Instead of helping her, the other cashier just told her he would help her in a little while and continued to VERY SLOWLY work his customer line. In the meantime, the female cashiers customer stood there for at least 15 minutes. No other employees---several of them wandering around--- bothered to help the cashier. At last, after helping about 3 customers, the male cashier finally helped the female cashier. All of this took about 35 minutes. HORRIBLE customer service! What a nightmare! We will NOT be back!I gave it 2 stars, because my kids liked the trampolines.
My kids love this place very funny and excellent
This is a great place to go and have but I suggest that you bring a friend
How many people can fit in one Sky Zone? No really, How many? On the day we went to this one I think that’s what they were trying to find out. Despite being understaffed (I believe they had two employees total supervising all the public jump areas), this Sky Zone attempted to pack as many people in as possible. There were not even enough open mats for everyone to jump. Even when We were able to get a spot, we had to watch out for kids flying by and jumping into us. It would have been nice to have someone supervising to actually correct people from doing this. Good concept, but the fact that they try to pack people in like sardines in a tin can kind of limits it.
Went with my brothers and mom for my brothers birthday. It was fun a fun environment but the staff should have had way more respect for people. The guy was so rude. Also little kids arent supervised well one kept getting in my square and I felt he was going to get hurt. Watched people land right on him. No staff was monitoring these little kids. The smaller kids shouldnt be put with adults and teens to jump. Its simply not safe.
I loved going here! The warp wall was so fun and after one try, I made it up the lowest one! I suggest you go here as it is a great work out, also we are saving tons of money instead of doing a gym class like emerald city or Byrd’s. With the member ship, we are able to come when ever we want, and get an exercise, the staff where great! And super nice, the activities are also not just some trampoline, basket ball and foam pit, there is a warp wall, rock wall, a spinning obstacle that you jump over or Duck under, and I suggest you go there!
Very inattentive staff. Kids had a blast but the parents have to keep close watch that their children arent skipped in line or bullies by other children. The staff has no idea where, what or when they should be doing something.
This place was disgusting all the tables were dirty workers standing around doing nothing wont b back
Best place ever... Just when I read all the reviews about being short staffed and everything that made me think alot. If you are so short staffed why not hire people to fix those issues. Why say you are going to call them same day of their interview but dont? Maybe there would be more good reviews if the issues people are complaining about get fixed.
Bubbas birthday, yay jump!!
Overpriced $16 for an hour or $24 for all day for that price I could have went to Worlds of Fun but I will say it was pretty cool in there they got dodgeball they have American Ninja obstacle course including the ramps that you run up is pretty fun
The facility is nice but there is never enough help to operate all the activities. I feel like we waste a lot of time waiting for activities to open and time is precious. There was no one at to concession stand because the same people were checking in and trying to run the concessions.
I was hesitant on writing this review only because a minor was involved and it included racial slurs. But my child was involved in an incident this past weekend where some older kids were bullying and using racial words. Well I have to commend SkyZone for being quick with there actions by asking the kids to leave and revoking the kids membership. Not allowing them come back and jump. I thinks thats best for the safety of the other children that come to play. Keep up the good work on keeping kids safe
Two older men hit 6 kids and seriously got injured
Awesome experience for a birthday party. It has other options than the Lees Summit location, so its worth going to both. They had a circling arm that you can jump over or duck under, which was super fun.
My kids had fun! The concern I had was the safety of the conquer the wall activity. Once the kids get to the top they have to reach out to grab a pole and then slide down. The pole is about 2 ft from the edge, so a pretty far reach out to grab. There is no safety net below. I watched the staff have to help a girl down with a ladder. Recommendation is to look into having a height restriction.
While the facility was pretty clean, the check-in process was horrendous. We waited in line for 15 minutes before we made it to the front and were told we had to go sign a waiver first. A simple sign would have prevented this. And I wasn’t the only one in this situation. Any single employee could have taken initiative to prevent this by placing even a post-it note on the sign that was already there to inform new arrivals that a waiver needed to be signed first. The other concern that I had was for safety. It was busy (as you can imagine with all the cold and snow lately) and the employees running it were not strict enough about the rules to prevent people from playing in the foam blocks below the climbing wall and battle beam. Parents really needed help understanding the rules especially when it was so busy. I do want to commend the gentleman trying to run the rock wall. He was constantly advising kids and adults alike when they could climb and to stay out from under others but the system in place did not make it possible for him to be successful. I constantly worried about my kids hurting another kid because the other moved into the foam blocks. While the concept is great, some important measures need to be taken for safety and fairness before I’ll enjoy returning.
If you haven’t been in to see the new updates I definitely recommend coming in. Super great place to let the kids burn off some energy and not cost an arm and a leg.
It was my first visit, over all very good. It had a very good variety of games, and had very comfortable seats for the parents. But I feel the air conditioning was too hot. Another thing I noticed was that you had to buy special socks, while I had seen in other places you could wear your own. But if it wasn’t for that I would have given it 5 stars for sure. I want to thank the workers there, specially the man who helped out my son with autism when he couldn’t get off one of the games because he was too scared, and would help him out when he wanted to get on again. It was very appreciated and made my son very happy. Overall very pleased with my visit.
SO. MUCH. FUN! We came for a birthday on a Saturday afternoon- probably a peak time for the location- but I was still impressed by the time we had!As a parent, I was digging the amount of crew members or coaches assisting and monitoring at each station. Most of them had ear pieces, walkies and whistles and were not shy to redirect behavior or when it was a turn for the next kid in line.I was super impressed by the crew member working the entrance to the Dodgeball station. He regulated the ages who were to play and who was out and when they could return to the game. The birthday portion was ran well too. Pretty good pizza for the kids and a staff member who was polite and an attentive server. This place is a well oiled machine.
My daughter LOVES this place, it is fun for kids of all ages, and even the adults if youre up for a challenge. The only downfall is the prices, be prepared to spend a pretty penny for the visit.
So much fun! They have brand new things like the rock wall and wipe out and virtual reality too! Has something for all ages, a place for food, sitting area, and lockers too. It was a great experience for my whole family and a fun way for all us to have fun together! Will be back next time I visit this area!
Our family has an absolute BLAST at Sky Zone in Shawnee! I feel like it is #1 super fun, but also safe & clean & I hope the managers/owners see this review & make a point to really commend their staff because you have some of the kindest, well-trained employees anywhere & I sincerely appreciate that! They interact with the customers, are great at answering any questions and are so KIND! Makes us return again & again
Everytime I have brought my 3 kids here they have had both dodgeball courts and the wipe out shut down. They said they didnt have the staff to man them. If a business cannot provide the product they advertise they need to shut down.Another thing that is an issue is when you walk in the door it is always a long wait to check in and pay even if you have already done the waiver prior to arrival.
The place has a lot of stuff to do more than normal jumping but you have to buy there socks so thats why Im not giving it a 5 star
Best place for kids to jump. But the food is pathetic. The pizzas taste stale and have unbreakable side crust. Pizzas pulled out a star.
So I come to sky zone, and I’m having a good time. The place is crowded, and they have two dodgeball courts. They call for ages 5-10 twice in a row and not ages 11-16. They have an entire other court and they don’t use it. I’m just upset that I had to leave before I could even play. Not to mention the vr here has not been working for a while. Other than that we had fun.
Five stars is not enough! The staff is so accommodating and helpful! My son dropped his slushie and they very quickly replaced it! I didnt even have to ask, they just came up to us and asked if they could bring us a new one. Top notch! Will definitely be back.
Great place! Staff is very helpful, informative, and friendly. Got the monthly pass for my boys they love it here
The overall experience was good, however, we ended up coming on a Glow Night which we didn’t expect, so we were required to pay for two hours ( even though we could only stay for one), and we had to buy glow shirts and socks. With 3 kids it got really expensive. From now on will probably stick with Urban Air, where you only pay for the time you’re actually there, and are not made to purchase a bunch of extra stuff, even on a glow night.
Such a fun experience with my cousins! A great work out too. Will definitely come back when I make my way back to Kansas.
It was amazing so fun things for all ages
Awesome, place to have fun! shout-out to a employee name Jonah keep up the good work.
Was great
Great place, they’ve really updated it! There’s a wipe-out bar, swings, rock wall, and still the regular trampoline area for the little kids. Great job, sky zone!!
It wouldve been a 4 but the staff at the confession stand were rude.... Me and my son are literally standing there and all 3 of the staff members looked at us and just kept on talking and one of them I want to say her name is Lauren but Im not sure because she kept covering her name tag and the other member named Christian threw my change at me and just looked at me as if I did something wrong...
My son loves the dodgeball and basketball..Most of the time something isnt working or there isnt enough seating.
This could be a great place. Unfortunately all the workers act so bored and miserable and act like they hate their jobs so it takes a lot of fun away from the kids. Other sky zones have positive, happy employees that get the kids hyped up and excited which makes for a fun experience.
Fun place u should take your kids
My son had a great time at a birthday party he attended. He said the staff was so nice and he loves how they changed the areas. He loves the warp wall. They only thing he did not enjoy was the pizza. He said it was not real and it felt like slime. But other than that he was beyond excited.
This place was fun and friendly great for kids. Staff seemed interested and friendly in kids. Pretty much the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because they dont allow outside food or drink. I understand this is the normal but its still a scam. But they have a great selection of jumping areas. 2 Dodge ball 1 large jump area a trick shot basketball area and a foam pit trick area. I would recommend it to anyone who has kids older than 3.
My kids love to jump and flip. They just need to make sure ALL attractions are up and running.
LOVE this place! There is so much to do here. An incredible family environment with an endless amount of activities like Basketball, dodgeball, foam pit, jousting, rock wall, warp wall, ninja course, wipe out, trampolines, foam pits galore...endless fun. Really great and affordable experience. Staff members are very friendly, especially the management!
This is a wonderful place to get some great exercise for the kids and the kid in all of us. I would have gone 5 stars but I signed a waiver basically saying I hold them at no fault over anything and then I have some 16 year old kid telling me what I can and can’t do. The rules seem to be different for everyone as someone says something to every time about my daughter and I while I literally watch this persons friends do exactly what he asked me not to. I have no problems other than that.
The concept is fantastic unfortunately some kids bully others and I walked in to see too young teenagers having a fight in the entryway. Daytime hours are better for family.
Having to purchase a minimum of 90 mins was a bit of a suprise to me. Last time I was there I dont think that was the case. Bit pricy I think especially when there are 4 parties going on and very crowded to jump. Inquired about them opening the other side that was not being used as the sign said and they said no. Will not be back. Turning into a chuck e cheese atmosphere.
The kids really enjoyed the wipe out zone and rock climbing. 1 hour unlimited was under $20 per kid and was worth it. They have a nice concession stand too. There could be more seating for parents but there are a few tables and benches. Go when its not too busy because really small children dont listen to the rules and it makes the bigger kids frustrated when little ones keep going in their square (youre supposed to have 1 square trampoline per kid in the wipe out)and getting in their way so they cant play the game. All in all fun time for almost any age.
Lots of different things to do. Love the new update and ninja warrior obstacles! Staff members could look like they want to be there more but other than no major complaints
Our experience was awesome! I needed to get my asthma inhaler out of the locker but didnt have any more quarters to be able to pay to lock it again. The staff there gave me the quarters and didnt expect the money on return! Will go back again!!
The Area is great. The employees not so much. My Friends and I went to go jump and have a good time like advertised. That is not what happened. We went to climb the brick wall, and we got in trouble. Though there can be two. We were not close to each other. And when we were doing the obstacle courses we had the same guy, Uriah. Get onto us. There was a kid there trying to fight my cousin and the employees did nothing. We were the ones to get in trouble. The food was great. There are really aggressive people in dodgeball.
Love the new remodeled skyzone!- The only bad thing i would say is the check in line seems to take longer than expected. Then back in August, I bought a handful of groupon passes. Once i went to redem them at the front desk, I was told I had to pay an extra fee on each voucher. Other than that my kids love the place & would go as often as I could afford to take them.
Kids had a blast. Very friendly staff. Would be difficult to work there. Thank you all for having the attitude and patience for us to have fun. It is appreciated.
Like a giant playground where toddlers kids young adults and parents can all be a kid (again for some). So much stuff to do it never gets boring. My son goes to sky-camp/daycamp and for us working moms it is a great alternative to daycare. He loves it...only $50 and he is dog tired when he comes home...so bedtime is a dream too! :)Definitely recommend if you havent been already.
Fun place!
Fun for the kids! But super expensive. Taking 4 kids for 1 hour is like $75. Yikes! We like to go, but just can’t afford to go all the time
Was a little surprised to find out when we arrived that the information on the website is incorrect as far as timeframes and pricing. Also was asked if we had Sky Zone socks but were not told that we had to buy them it was just added to our ticket with no warning whatsoever that we were being charged for them. My granddaughter had a great time but feel that it was overpriced for the time we were there and the girls at the front register were very rude
Fun for parties and reasonable prices for kids playdates
I booked by calling, it took maybe 10 minutes tops, super easy. We got there, they knew who we were and were ready for us as soon as we arrived. It took a little longer to get jumping since there was a large group in front of us (60 kids!) and so to make up for the few minutes waiting we had to do we got an additional 20 minutes of jumping for the kids! They helped set up the party room and had a person on hand to help us. The young lady was fantastic, she helped with set up, she helped cut the cake, she helped pour drinks, she even helped us carry leftovers to our car. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the place was clean and well maintained and most importantly despite there being somewhere in the region of 700 billion children running around nobody was hurt, lost, crying or upset.Fantastic place, I will absolutely go back .
My boys all three love SkyZone! We love nearest to the one on Quivira, and they’d go every day if they could. The variety of activities across age groups is excellent, it’s always clean and the employees have wonderful customer service.
Excellent experience! There were two employees on two separate occasions the evening we came that demonstrated having great, understanding customer service towards my family. I can’t express enough how much their positive energy and generosity was appreciated.
The kids had a blast! They loved the place. The party host was awesome! However, the place was like a sauna.....way too hot in the party room. The pizzas are not as big as I was expecting. They do have 8 slices per pizza but these are more on a small/medium sized pizza vs a large. Plan accordingly. Our kids were normal sized for 9 year olds and were eating 2 to 3 slices a person.
My daughter went to SkyZone during the Toddler Time on Wednesday... What a great opportunity for littles to jump and play without worrying about older kids knocking them down! They even had Branch and Poppy there from Trolls to welcome the kids- my daughter was so excited to see them! Great place
This is a great place for kids and the whole family! I love that they have couches and seats for parents that want to relax while the kids play. They have 2 party rooms (from what I saw) if you want to use those for a bday party or event. The VR game experience was really neat and very intense! The variety of different obstacles and trampolines was great! The staff was pretty helpful for the most part, though some of the staff could have been a little friendlier. It can be a little pricey depending on what you decide to do. I believe it was $13 or $14 per person for one hour, and about $20 per person for 2 hours. You can check the website for the exact prices though. Overall, it was great and would totally recommend it as a great place for kids.
For toddler time today, I took my daughter to celebrate her 4th birthday. All was well until we realized that toddler time and regular hours were overlapping. I’m not sure why this was but many of the older kids were jumping near my daughter, nearly knocking her down. I thought this was a designated time for toddlers and preschoolers to jump safely.
My son says this is the most fun. They have dodgeball and a ton of bouncing and fun games. Also, free socks.
Weve been going for years for events with our youth org & its always fun. Their staff is very easy to work with & patient/fun with our large group of students. The new remodel IS THE BEST!
Took my 8yo son to burn off some energy. We had a lot of fun. Place was clean, there was plenty to do so it didnt seem crowded. The staff was friendly and very interested in keeping the kids safe.
What’s not to love about Sky Zone? It’s always pretty clean and the staff is friendly and the kids have a sweaty, tiring blast!
This place is a lot of fun for my 13 year old boy. I havent ever had any problems until last night. There must be something going on with the management; big surprise. Both the cashiers that rang me up were rude (Kalie H being the first) I dont appreciate people spending my money for me, but thats just me. Kalie didnt ask me how long we wanted to stay, just charged us for the standard 2 hours for black light night. Too bad for the company I had 7 boys that wanted to stay for 4hrs. She also decided which style of shirt we wanted, didnt give us any options except for the size. She then decided which style of socks we wanted- the most expensive of course! The front desk was a hot mess at 8:30. I know you are supposed to arrive 30 minutes early, but how about just have more people working the registers? You can tell the cashiers hate their jobs. After reading anothers review, I did find out about another trampoline park in Op called Urban Air that Ill checkout.
Went once ... had to wait over 30 minutes in line for kids to jump. Went again, had items stolen. Talked to manager, requested a callback with more info, heard nothing. Fun, pricey environment, but poor communication and customer service. Jump elsewhere.
Terrible experience at SkyZone today-specifically the Shawnee, Kansas location. I took my son for toddler time and first had to wait 20 minutes to pay (mind you only one person was in front of me) while countless employees walked past and didn’t open another register. Not exactly friendly for children under 7 when you are asking them to wait insane amounts of time- so how is it toddler time? Then, the cashier, Sophie S specifically, tells me I don’t have to purchase socks if I have my own. My son and I wear our socks and walk up to the trampoline platform. We are told our socks aren’t acceptable, and I explained that the cashier said they were okay so she said that was fine. Then fifteen minutes later a rude, I’m guessing manager, confronted us by saying we needed to buy socks and called me a liar when I explained the cashier had given us incorrect information by saying we were fine. It was far from a pleasant experience due to management and we will not be back.
This place is amazing! Kids love it. They have a new VR set......it is amazing! 10$ Worth every minute. The manager on staff is amazing too!!
We have been coming to the Shawnee location for years and having great fun. We experienced a small hiccup at our last visit but management was very responsive. Alex in particular was quick to offer help. We remain loyal customers.
Good fun place to take your kiddos and have a good time without worries!!
It was my granddaughters birthday. So I brought both her and my older daughter. They had a wonderful time jumping around. The only real negative things I noticed was that at one point my granddaughter was at the basketball goals and is clearly too small to reach it and the lady standing over there didnt bring over the smaller goal. Also there were older kids running across the main area, doing flips and jumping in the same sections while the TV screen displayed that to be a no no and the person there said nothing to them.
Worst ever . Spent 40 minutes in line waiting for the child working the front desk to fill out a group of 6 waivers for them . Purchased a pizza and was told it would take 10 minutes they gave us a table number We waited 25 minutes to never get the pizza by then it was time to go . This place they tell you one person to a square they had all the big kids jumping with the small kids . This place is not big enough to have a couple hundred kids running around with on 100 trampoline squares. No reason teenagers should be jumping with 3and 4 year olds my kids couldnt even enjoy themselves. Completely understand organized. A wast of of money
My grandson & his buddy had a blast!!
Love taking my niece and nephew here! They have a blast, I get some work done, and they are zonked before we leave the parking lot! Win Win
Good place to let older kids run around 6pluse
They’ve added some additional features since our last visit. Pleasantly surprised! Always FUN!Definitely going back soon!
We did have more kids than originally thought for birthday party. Nothing was ready when we arrived by our party planner. Planner appeared to not care much. Everything ran behind then they needed us to hurry. We had to find party room from kids at our party. Guy working concession stand ignored me. Kids had fun but so unorganized for over 600 dollars. Will not ever have a party here again.
