I happen to see that incredible pizza was open! I drive a few times passing by so I decided to visit this place for the first time. Boy I didn’t know what to expect. I have to agree with one of the viewers that it was very pricey in my opinion the food and buffet table need alot of tender loving care its so sad. However we were greeted with the host first time for coming here. He was great! So I gave it a two star’s because they have indoor rides This place could use some really good management all in all I wouldn’t be coming back here in time soon.

This place was great for us all you can eat buffet, games, go carts, they had a room that was playing a movie in a projector so you could watch and eat. For me its perfect time with my family at a decent price and the food will shock you as I was expecting pizza street though I actually like pizza street but this to me as better.

Brought a 30 person party for my sons birthday and we will never be back. Out of all of the employees we encountered only 2 seemed to have any manners. My son was scared to wreck the go carts and got a little teary eyes and instead of any positivity the employee stated if he wrecked she would kick him out. He’s 7 and was bawling now. The food was terrible our 2 hour play cards didn’t work most of the time. I had to argue with an employee to let the kids go on the bumper cars again instead of waiting because no one was in line. From the minute I walked in the door I was told my “phone call would be pulled” to verify something I was told. While my son was opening gifts we were stopped and told we had 10 minutes the. We had to leave the room.I’ve never been so embarrassed in my entire life this place took the enjoyment from this party. I would never recommend this to anyone.

My family visited Incredible Pizza tonight for the first time and this was a really hard review for me to do.I am a local Shawnee resident and I have been ancy to get in and check out the new establishment ever since their opening, which had been delayed because of COVID.Prior to this entertainment facility opening, we frequented Power Play often and we were disappointed to see them close and were very excited to see Incredible Pizza go in.I have decided to give Incredible Pizza 3 stars overall. These stars are based on my opinion that the entertainment facility and the customer service are both great and worthy of 4 stars alone, however the pizza buffet and dinning experience are worth 1 maybe 2 stars at best. They have done a great job of remodeling and have really opened up the space and added a bunch of amazing rides and games. Once COVID us over, I think they will do great and will do a bunch of private parties.for both kids and adults. When we arrived at the facility we were greated by a friendly host who explained how everything worked and the pricing. They have different packages to choose from, however I was surprised to learn that everyone, at a minimum, was required to purchase the buffet. I felt this was very unfortunate, especially with the current COVID pandemic. When Power Play was there we would frequently just go in for a bit just to play games and ride rides. We would even frequently just stop in for lunch or dinner without playing games or riding the rides. It was nice and convenient to have the option to choose, without being forced to do both. (Just a suggestion)Tonight I felt like the buffet was overpriced and I was disappointed by the taste and quality of the food and the limited selection of what was actually available. They had a small salad bar, probably 5 or 10 pizzas to choose from, hot dogs, a couple pasta selections, items to make tacos and nachos, chicken, mashed potatoes and a couple really random items like biscuits and gravy and chicken, biscuit and noodle soup. They had a very small desert selection, ice.cream machine and soda fountains. Nothing really stood out to me as great, however I was told by someone who worked there their lemon chicken was good, so I will have to give that a try next time. My kids did mention they missed not having the slushy machines.I am going to give Incredible Pizza the benefit of the doubt and am hopeful that our dining experience tonight was directly related to COVID and them having to make hard business decisions related to current restrictions and the lack of customers and revenue.I cant imagine the investment they made in opening this location and the disappointment and financial loss they have to be experiencing because of everything.Speaking of COVID and the buffet in general, I didnt feel comfortable regarding the buffet operation.Dont get me wrong, I have had no problem going out to restaurants, bars or other entertainment venues during COVID. I have even eaten at other self-serve buffets since COVID began, it just seems like other establishments are being more proactive to stop the spread and reduce concerns. They did have up social distancing signage, several hand sanitation stations, tables seemed adequately spaced or closed off, signage requesting you get new plates and cups for each return visit to the buffet and all staff appeared to be using PPE.On the flip side, I am still a little uncomfortable with the whole self-serve concept. At other buffets I have eaten at, plates, cups, silverware and condiments were handed to you individualy by a gloved staff member, and most of the time they were single use items. On top of that other buffets provided sanitation stations and single use gloves for us to wear on at-least one hand at the beginning of each buffet entrance and hand sanitizer on each table when returning from the buffet line.I dont know if these, likely costly, precautions help, but they did add a sense of reassurance in my own mind.If the food situation improves, I would recommend giving them a try!

The food was decently good. I love the fact that they have a buffet as well as a self serve drink machine that you can go back to. The laser tag is probably my favorite game there. They could do better in prize selection such as prizes for older teenagers and young adults. The games were extremely fun. The floor is the only thing that was bot kept clean during the time I was there because of that I gave it 4 stars. Since the remodeling, this place has gotten better. A lot of potential just keep it clean and keep improving.

Okay, so this is going to be a long one. Lets do some math since every employee here argues math.Bought 2 of the $35 deals, that totals $70. Add the $2 fee for the cards. Now we are at $72. Add the 10% tax to the whole order thats another $7.20, so total before any discounts is $79.20. Now they claim they applied our 10% discount but the total after discount and tax came to $79.16. So military was a 4 cent discount. Now onto the game reviews. It took 3 trips to the counter to finally get the manager to split the card up so it would work correctly. They had to put the money and rides on one card, and a whole separate card for the 2 hours of game play on non redemption games. At least now the kids can finally play the games, an hour after we arrived.Consensus is that we will unfortunately not be back. The price is higher than power play was, the staff is less personable, and the kids were constantly fighting the modern machine card scanners. There are many games that are down as well, pictures included. The buffet was worth the low cost since you get unlimited icecream, soda, and salad. It wasnt anything awesome, but we werent expecting much from the buffet honestly. The pizza sauce is awful, but they made a cheese pizza without the sauce that was edible. The salad bar is good, but the ceasar dressing was gross so stick to the ranch. The meat for tacos didnt taste anything like taco meat and you can tell the quality of meat is low, nacho cheese was just cheese colored water, mac & cheese was more like buttered noodles.BUFFET IS NOT CAFETERIA STYLE, AS ADVERTISED

There is definitely an upgrade since the last days of PowerPlay!! The food was fresh and more than well enough for a family, while the buffet and seating area stayed well maintained. The bar and the plenty of new maintained seating throughout the facility were a great touch. All the rides were ample enough for up to early to mid teens. Newer games also added to a nice touch. Party rooms and separate seating areas.

I am blessed to be guardian of my 20-year-old brother, who is on the autism spectrum. He desperately loves go carts, but we rarely can find a time for him to go when it’s safe for him to actually ride them, because his motor skills make it hard for him to drive them.I asked if there was a way that we could share a cart, and they said that was not safe. So we left the line. One of the young adults who worked behind the go cart counter, went and got the manager without us even asking. The manager let us have a race all to ourselves, even had an employee drive too so my brother had “competitors” and let him win.He left there feeling like a real hero and like he had accomplished something.I cannot thank the staff enough for being so accommodating and thoughtful.

Much better crowd of people than busters or main event. We took our 8 yr. old son, expecting to play for an hour or so, and stayed for over three hours. Save your money. Everything is overpriced. You get a card to play the yellow colored games that are unlimited but there are not many of those available. All the other games are ridiculously priced. Most of the rides you can do are only open for a small amount of time...last 10 min of the hour or first 15 minutes of the hour, etc. Payed for the buffet but wasn’t told it closed at 8 so we missed out on eating there. They did refund us for that, though. Manager was nice enough. Wish I would have checked the reviews on this place before we went.

Will never return. Came for a family members birthday party and forced to buy a buffet I didn’t want. Had no clue buffets we’re still a thing during covid. It’s incredibly unsanitary to have the public using the same serving utensils and breathing over all of the food. Apparently they’ve been telling people that they were going to serve the food cafeteria style but that was not the case. Masks are required to enter however they were not enforced after entering. Many didn’t wear their mask, including employees. Rides and games weren’t sanitized between uses, not a single drop of hand sanitizer was in sight. They even had a game where you put a contraption over your face while holding a joy stick fully operational as if the corona virus was not even a thing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Employees just standing around asked to ride a ride they said in 30 min waited asked again and said 10 more min. I said why wait no one here what us the wait for, the kids want to ride. Finally they let them ride the ride after I protested and said why? Hit a button to ride and then wait for someone to come, kids dont want to wait to ride. Each game is 1.50 so your 10$ tick doesnt go far and the rides are 6.50 to 5.50 a piece so what does 10$ do for a kid?? A ride and a half? Right what a ripe off!! Never go back dont waste your money. I waited for this place Incredible Pizza to open and it was not what I was hoping it would be. The price for the buffet was about 10.99 for adults and 8.99 for children under twelve. You cannot Serve Yourself they must serve you. The food is not that good as a matter of fact it was somewhat horrible. Its nothing like PowerPlay folks, completely different. Upon arriving at this place I noticed a security guard car parked on the sidewalk near the building as you enter the door. I guess they wanted to let people know they were inside. As I went inside I noticed security guards or rent-a-cops staring at the customers as if they had a problem with people trying to sneak into the place or maybe even steal from the place. It was somewhat uncomfortable considering the way business is operated here in Johnson County. Nevertheless the rest of the place didnt look too bad it had plenty of games and toys for the children, overall you would have to see it and judge it for yourself.

Based on the marketing and hype surrounding the new Shawnee Incredible Pizza opening we were excited to go tonight for the first time. I purchased the .99 buffet with an $18 game card deal for the family. (5 of us) So this was an expensive night and that’s ok. We tried dinner first before games. My expectation for the buffet wasn’t high but expected like a CiCi’s buffet style pizza and the supporting food bars similar to what Power Play had; based on the marketing pictures and emails I have seen and received. However, the buffet looked and tasted like 99 cents. The kids and I we’re not fans of the pizza and for some it didn’t sit well. Their sauce had a funky taste. I can’t say anything good about the rest of the food bar. Nothing looked good or worth putting on your plate, not even the salad bar. I wish I took pictures of it. We are not picky eaters and like buffets but definitely not this one. As for the games, game cards, and attractions, not a good experience either. There were issues with the staff. Starting with the go-karts. When the attendant scanned my card, the scanner lagged he kept swiping, said it was slow. However, it wasn’t. The card was charged five times when it should have been three. Ok, no problem, credit the game card back. He couldn’t do it and sent me to the prize store. That took 20 minutes and two different people to try and fix the error. Short story, I didn’t get the credits ($8) back, and missed the first couple laps of the kids driving. Then in the end, we wanted to combine our tickets and unused value of our cards to one card. Like you can do at D&B and what once was PowerPlay. I asked the young lady at the front desk. She said “I can’t do it’. I said in somewhat disbelief “You can’t combine cards?” and she said “No”. That seemed not right to me and added to the poor experience we were already having. In the end we went to the prize store to redeem our tickets and I asked the attendant there if they can combine our game cards and she said ‘Yes’ but I needed to go to the front desk to do that. I said I had already asked that young lady and she gave said “She can’t do it.” The lady did apologize and said that maybe they are having some problems up front. On top of the poor food quality, the staff seemed to be poorly trained and disconnected. Sorry for the novel but it was not an ‘incredible’ experience for our family and it’s $108 we can’t get back. Save your time and money on this place and go elsewhere. Your stomach will thank you too.

It feels like a soulless corporation. It took over what once was PowerPlay, which was a real arcade run by genuine arcade enthusiasts. Incredible Pizza, however, threw out all of the old arcade cabinets and replaced them with new, modern, ticket machines. Its essentially a generic Main Event or Dave & Busters, in that it has all the same boring games, and no retro cabinets from the rich history of arcade games. Powerplay had 80s classics like Donkey Kong, Galaga, Space Invaders. They had a Neo Geo machine with Puzzle Bobble and Metal Slug. Powerplay had some of the Capcom and Konami greats like Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, X-men vs. Street Fighter, Simpsons Arcade, and Beatmania. Not to mention multiple cabinets of the revolutionary and timeless Dance Dance Revolution. Incredible Pizza threw all of these out and more; while there are a few remaining machines from PowerPlay, they are all the more modern games that are able to be marketed more easily to kids with short attention spans. I asked about where the remaining machines went (as Incredible Pizza did indeed acquire all the old machines from PowerPlay), but they had no idea, nor did they have any idea on how I could contact their corporate overlords who might have known. I refuse to support this business, as it is a shell of an arcade, feeling quite empty and barren of all the things that make an arcade great; the games. The selection is generic and dull, as you would be able to find these same exact terrible games at any other arcade in America (aside from the excellent Round1 chain). They threw away everything that made PowerPlay great, and replaced it with an empty corporate shell.

OMG! Nasty food, fights, and the police did nothing...... My nephew lost his Keys and they wouldnt let him look for them, they charged my son for two Buffets when they had closed it down. Wrong place to go, only if you want to play the games. Eat before or after but dont eat there.
