Friendly staff Amy was very accommodating with us having 5 sites. We did want be close if not together but with people extending their stay these owners do not make people tear down to move one spot to another. I appreciate that. We got to stay close together but not side bye side all worked out. Clean bathrooms and laundromat. Close to interstate but away from all the noise. There is helicopters place across street didn’t bother us. This campground is more for people who enjoy camping and not all the luxury. I would come back here again and again!
Bathhouse was very clean but no soap to wash your hands.Great location, a lot to do.Price is good.No picnic table. I bring a table for cooking.Luckily I bring a firepit with me when camping. No firepit eitherWe have no kids but we felt like we did. Our campsite was backed up to the river and kids walking and playing on the dirt hill behind our camper, not enjoyable. At one time a kid throw a rock and hit the camper, needless to say I talk to his parents about that. But its was a great 5 days...
Beautiful, quiet park. All sites are 50amp bring a reducer. Amy was very knowledgeable, very polite and helpful. 3 floods this year for this campground so sad. Please pray for them instead beating these ladies down for being short on picnic tables and fire rings. Bring your own fire rings are allowed. Good cable and WiFi
We appreciated the park staff and their willingness to accommodate our unique situation. Our stay was enjoyable. If you are looking to fish, the river is not convenient unless you have an RV spot on the river, and then you have to climb over a mound of dirt. The helicopter tours across the road run all day long and are pretty obnoxious. If you want a campfire you have to bring your own ring if youre not on the river. We had to go buy wood at Lowes because no one nearby (including the campground) had wood for sale. No picnic tables. The campground itself is well cared for and overall it was a good stay.
Very nice camping. easy in and out short distance from I 40. Small river adjacent to camping spots. Small store, restroom and shower. We prefer to stay here more than the anywhere local to this area. Evan easy check in after hours no problem.
We were nervous about coming to this campground but HAPPY we did! Owners very friendly. Amy was very polite & very helpful. WiFi worked great for us. Cable TV 48 channels. Bathhouse and laundry room clean. Close to interstate and far away from all the chaos. No picnic tables, we bring our own. No fire rings, we bring our own. This is woman owned family owned campground they had three floods this year 2020 give these ladies a break people. This place not for everyone but sure was for me and wife.
Close to interstate, clean restrooms and laundromat, friendly staff, Amy the granddaughter so helpful, Ms. Charlotte the owner is so sweet. They have had three floods this year give them a break people! It’s family owned woman owned business, gravel sites big enough for my 44ft motorhome. WiFi and cable worked perfectly for me. Stayed one month with no problems, had extra guest at times with no problems paid $3. Excellent campground and service.
We had a great site. We wanted by the water and they gave us the best site. It was like we were the only ones their but we werent. The place was full. It was the best weekend.
Called for 4 night stay Amy was very accommodating in helping us. WiFi great cable great clean restrooms and laundry room. Very clean park, gravel sites level, 39 foot fifth wheel. All sites are 50amp will need reducer. Close to interstate. Good Sam dicounts.
The younger heavy set lady is very rude and we felt harassed as paying customers. First we had fans plugged in to the 110 outlet and were told we could not use that because it was for the management use not paying customers!!! This makes no sense at all. So we plugged it to the camper which was no big deal but she (heavy set lady) kept coming behind our camper near the river checking to see if we kept it that way. Also the older lady who checked us in did not charge for my 10 yr old great nephew but said younger heavy set lady said we owed for him. When we tried to pay for him the younger heavy set lady said that we would just chop it up whatever that means. She saw where the older lady started to put 3 then changed it to 2 so was not charging for him.Same younger heavy set lady had told us my nephew could park at the campsite then came and said that he could not while we we at the store trying to pay for my great nephew! She was very rude and and I even saw her taking pictures of other occupied campsites. We have stayed here several times and never had a problem until this weekend! I can understand why they were not full for the fourth of July. We will not be back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!
Lady at office was on phone when I walked in and never acknowledged me after 15 minutes on phone! She was kinda rude when she was assigning site. Gave me my pull thru site that really wasn’t a pull thru. Cable TV didn’t work! Sites were ok. Wouldn’t stay here again. To many nicer campgrounds around area.
The campground is clean and is run “old school”. We enjoy staying here because it’s close enough to do what ever you want to do in Pigeon Forge, but far enough out of the noise that when you return from a day of “going” it’s nice and peaceful. The campground sits on the river, has very clean spaces, and the bathhouses are kept clean. There is a small playground for the kiddos, as well as a pool (also clean) for when we visit during the summer months.
Great place and price!!! The folks were great checking in and the campground is well taken of!!! We will be back!
If you like WIFI. Dont let them lie to you. Been here over a week. Really boring with no WIFI. Dont believe ME call them and ask....WORST SPOT EVER
Disappointed by this place. Our reservation was given to someone else so ended up in the middle of everyone. The lady was rude. Would have been okay but didnt realized how narrow the spaces are. No grill, dog poopin everywhere, wifi doesnt even work. If ur driving by this town and jst need to stay for a night to rest, its okay because this camp is beside the road and theres a big flea market in front.
NO INTERNET. They lie. WORST PLACE EVER. Dont believe me call and ask if they have WIFI.
One Star is too much! I pulled in the campground and went in to the office and greeted the woman at the desk. I asked if I could dump my tanks and fill water for a fee. She yes $20.00. I thought that was very steep but I said ok. Then I said do you have any sites opened she said yes. I asked how much, she pointed to the wall and said the price is on the wall. Rude. It was $38 approx for a site. I said ok I will take it. Then she writes the bill and tells me she added $10 because I came in with my tanks full and that is what she told me she would charge - which she didn’t she told me $20. I said really? She said yes take it or leave it. She then told me that most people that come there are local and come from home with empty tanks. I said this is a tourist town, you get no people coming in from other places - Bull. I told her that she was recently able to open up due to Covid and now you are ripping people off. I told her to keep her site and I kept my money.
Convenient right off hwy. Propane service, cable, WiFi, sewer, electric, water. Full hook up service. They also have year around camping witch is cheaper than hotel. Amy in the office very helpful and knowledgeable. Very very clean bath house/ laundromat.
Great place to stay, Clean facilities and close to all amenities! Charlotte is a very sweet lady
Very friendly owners. The campground is family owned, love that! Amy the granddaughter goes above and beyond to always make sure the park and the bathrooms are clean, smells like bleach. Charlotte the grandmother pretty much runs the office, sweet lady. It is on the outside of town, love it, quite, peaceful and very relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend this campground any day!
Will definitely be back. Reading some of the negative reviews I have to wonder if they are talking about another campground? Everything is spotless! The price is good for the area. The management and employees go above and beyond to be sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I would recommend this place highly without any hesitation at all!
Good place to camp. Good to stop before hitting traffic. We aren’t living there so had little interaction with staff. Since we were out to explore also had little interaction with staff. We were backed up to water which made it nice. Sites are close together but then again we are camping and not honevyo enjoy free space. Cable was fuzzy. WiFi was not adequate but didn’t need to work anyway. Will stay again for the location.
Nice level sites, all with grassy area, clean restrooms, laundry room. The pool was sparkling and a nice size! Woman owner was super friendly and helpful. We will be back next year!!
Was nervous at first to come here but glad I did. Yes they had flood but recovered very well, still a work in progress! It’s nice clean park. Playground small. Just a basic swing set, basketball court. The granddaughter added a baby swing. Bikes are allowed. Clean laundry room and bathhouse. The granddaughter Amy pretty much takes care of everything on the outside and the sweet little lady ( grandmother) does the inside. It close to the flea market and few restaurants. It is away from all the hustle and bustle.
Very friendly. Not overly crowded. Nice bath house. Nice pool. And great price for the area.. 10/10 will be back again.
I absolutely LOVE this place. Me and my family have been coming for years. Clean Clean Clean. The grandmother and granddaughters are the nicest people, always willing help. Grandmother takes care of inside mostly and her granddaughter outside and bathrooms/laundry always supper clean. It’s far out where you not in the middle of the whole hussle and bustle of everything but yet close enough to get to everything. It’s well worth the money! It’s very relaxing and peaceful. They are upgrading a lot of new things!
Ive tried to give this place two chances. Once last year and then again this year. We arrive and the cable never works properly. Their excuse is that they cant get anyone to work on it. Which is what they said last year. Fine. We had our breaker trip several times during our stay. We tried to bring it to their attention but they were extremely rude. They said it was our fault the breaker was tripping because we had too many things plugged up. Literally had nothing plugged or running except ac and fridge. Third day we went without water the entire day. We were told to buy another water hose to tie into someone elses. Okay.. Every time weve had any sort of interaction with the staff, they have been exceptionally rude. EXCEPTIONALLY. The cable is so fuzzy you cant tell whats on. Except in the office. The WiFi is off and on and wont load anything. They do have grassy sites. And the bathrooms are fairly clean for a campground. Those are the only positives I can say. I seen several reviews saying the staff was friendly. I guess you can play roulette and find out which staff youll get. Waste of money. Never going back.
Been here since August it’s flooded twice she lies about fixing anything and had no water unless I got it from bath house . The water has receded and they have allowed us to move back down but you don’t have cable if you ask her about anything she’ll blame the inspector or electrician now anyone that comes here has to pay more money.im already looking for another place to stay as soon as my leases up
Nice place I like it here. Its winter time theres not a lot to do I just paid over $1,100 for the month and the Wi-Fis horrible its useless.lady says she cuts it off every 30 minutes because people leave it on all the time but Im thinking well isnt that part of what I paid for?
We just stopped in to get off the road for the night. We had passed the original campground we wanted to check for an available spot so we pulled into this one. The people were friendly and a gentleman on a golf cart met us and guided me into my spot. It seems like a good clean campground and is very pretty. Seems to be pretty full tonight. They offer free WiFi and it works quite well.
Words of advise: DONT NOT STAY HERE!
Sites in the middle are too small. They said they had plenty of room for our rig. There are bigger sites along the river, cost extra to park there and they are all back in. Hardly enough room to park the vehicle. They have No pull through sites. I was informed that they did. Charged an up charge for using a credit card. Would of brought cash had we known. Was not informed of that while making reservation. No fire pits. This is basically a park it and go have fun somewhere else campground. There is no room to do anything at your site. The only good thing was the staff was nice. They just were not very informative on the phone about site size and up charge for using credit card.
It has really nice and flat spots! You are sadly parked back to back and right on top of each other but it works. The playground is rather useless however, the pool makes up for it. Bath house is clean! The first day you arrive the helicopter tours are so annoying and after the 2nd day you dont realize it.
Don’t waste your money!!! Disappointed is an extreme understatement. The prices are higher than Anywhere we have ever stayed and with nothing to show for it. I would be ok with it if you weren’t basically paying just to park. The “playground” is a ratty small slide/swing that could easy be tipped over. The “cable” doesn’t work. We were told they were working on it but reading other reviews it seems they have been working on it for years. There is trash all around the creek. They charge you $3 a Day Per Child on top of their high prices. They also charge you an extra 3% for using a card when paying. The woman in the office is rather rude as well. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. We will not be back.
Super friendly staff, easy off/on the highway. Plenty of spaces. Nice to be parked before you get to the more congested areas.
Very clean Campground and the staff is awesome and we will be back
Will NEVER be back! RUDE owners. Watched everything you did and it was like they were breathing on your neck and being hateful about everything.. Just dont waste your money because they will milk every dime out of you. For example, Visitors.. we were LIVING at the campground for approximately a month so we are going to have people stop by. The office lady would send her RUDE Daughter down to our site after the visitors STEPPED FOOT OUT OF THEIR VEHICLE and told us we had to pay.
Very very rude service. Will never ever stay. Tried asking a question and was nice, but the lady was very very rude.
Very nice campground. Clean and well maintained. Price was good.
The owner is rude. Has her granddaughter harassing people along with her great grandchildren. They go around at night messing with peoples campers. It’s flooded twice. Would sooner sleep on the side of the highway then pay to stay there. People giving good reviews are people in her pocket that get a kickback from her to post good reviews. Stay elsewhere as this place is a joke
Ripplin Waters is a great place. Very clean and quiet. Lots of grass for dogs. The cleanest bathrooms/laundry room Ive ever seen. And Charlotte is a wonderful and friendly lady to deal with.
Well Maintained, less expensive than other campgrounds in the area. Convenient
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE. Poorly managed place due to RUDE office lady. If you want to be harassed, this is the best place to stay.
Great place to stay very nice people nice campers safety is great people watch out for the children will go back love it
Great staff will camp there again if in the area.
The park was really nice. Been to several campgrounds and this one is kept up well. Wish the camp office carried more items. Being beside the river is really nice. Very convenient to get to off the interstate. Not to far into the crowded areas. Did not use the restroom/bathhouse on site but did have a nice facility.
Easy to get reservations at least in October and May. Also close to the interstate. Gave 4 stars because we have not used any amenities only in and out to visit relatives. Reasonable price compared to other campgrounds. Office personnel very friendly!
There are 2 sides to every story. To publicly shame someone and their business is disgraceful. The post from Mr. Fritz is uncalled for.We have stayed at Ripplin Waters many times. Ms. Charlotte has always been professional as she has a business to run. At the same time we have always been treated with kindness from Ms. Charlotte! Ms. Charlotte has always made us feel right at home!
Please dont stay here. We are camping until our new house is ready and were planning to stay 2 weeks here because it was the only place that had a spot available (I now know why). We paid for 3 people. Even though my youngest was at camp for a week. My oldest son is 20 and works nightshift for EMS and is just in and out visiting. Charlotte had her granddaughter tell me I needed to pay for the extra people on my site. He doesnt stay but I sent him $6 to pay for 2 days regardless. Im not the type of person to argue over $6. My family then left for IHOP for some breakfast. I received a call during my meal from Charlotte stating she needed,to talk to me. We paid our bill and went straight to the office. She priceeded to tell me my son had been rude when he paid her (how does she think we have been feeling these past 10 days?!?) And he didnt pay,the salea tax on the $6 he,gave her. Now believe me or dont but we got our family meal interrupted over sales tax on $6 cash of which he only even owed one day...if that. She told me Im sure you watch every penny too my family does not actually. We believe in doing the right thing and that it will come back to you. Not milking people for every penny. My autistic son was approached this evening (just a few hours after paying her an extra dollar and insisting she keep the chage since they obviously need it more) and was told,by the man we owed $3 more because my sons girlfriend picked him up and we had to pay. Well we are leaving tomorrow 3 days early. Id rather lose the 3 nights than be harassed further. We are a good, working family who has bothered nobody. If you choose to stay here just know its all about every penny they can make you pay. I believe those who want everything thats coming to them better hope it doesnt.
Went to office to get rates and interupted the older Ladies cigarette break and She was very upset and Rude To me and said shes been there since 2004 and did noi want to answer any questions . The site was almost empty. Run away now...also heard the cabins has bed bugs and roaches
We just left this campground with the reviews that I read I was a bit hesitant to go there. But I must say this campground meets every camper s standards. The campground is very clean they havebuddy camping sites. The staff is very friendly and they lead you to your campsite. The location is great not far from town and far enough from the chaos of the vacation hub.We plan to return see ya in the fall.
Very nice.Cable TV didnt work but plenty of local channels.Restrooms and showers are great
Such a great campground. Will be camping here again!
Great park. All inclusive amenities. Park clean and quiet. Laundry room clean. Pool nice. Good location out of Pigon Forge pageantry.
Great place to Camp quiet and the sites are Rumi
We have been camping here since about 2003, once or twice a year. We really like staying here. Once we stayed for three consecutive weeks.
This is 2nd time staying here and havent had any issues either time. Hosts are very friendly. Bathrooms and pool area are well maintained. Campground is nice and river view is great. Great location to everything.
A very nice and quiet campground. Wont stay anywhere else. Love the owners.very clean.
STOP Do not waste your hard earn money here! I have been at this establishment on and off for many years, with that being said, be aware of Ms. Charlotte, she is very two faced. Ms. Charlotte uses anyone she can without paying them, even her own grandkids. Ms. Charlotte fired her own granddaughter for sitting with another long time camper who was on his death bead. Mr.Davis worked years at this establishment, all while his death bed she kicks his wife on the curb, elderly herself Mr. Davis was her only caretaker. Ms. Charlotte was lucky to have the only person ( Amy her granddaughter) to do everything she did at this establishment all while carrying for her sisters 3 kids. Ms. Charlotte would even talk down to her own family, we try several times to praise Amy and the little ones, did no good! Shame Amy only one who toke care of this place. After all this we can’t go back, what if me or my husband on death bed, she may kick one of us out.
Read the reviews, I had mix emotions about taking my family to establishment with some of comments. The pros were close to interstate, cheap, extra storage for our boat - trailer. Cons no playground really, dirty restrooms, laundry fasilty, gravel, crowed sites, not very clean help, camp fires are not permitted.
Wonderful place to camp. It was our 2nd time there. The staff is so nice and helpful.
Just stayed there for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff was very friendly and the campground was clean and nice. Would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again if we go back to visit the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg TN area.
Love this place. Everyone is so friendly. Very clean...and quiet. ️
I was very upset that the woman in the office excused me of not being truthful. When we made reservations we said two adults and one child. When I checked in I was asked if any additional people, I replied no. She saw us at our site and yelled you told me you only had two people!. I replied we registered for 2 adults and 1 child. She gave me a thumbs up, but the accusation was already said. Very strange, did they just want more money. I would not recommend.
Took the grandchildren to the resort for the weekend and rented a cabin. When we arrived, we had trouble finding the cabin and ended up having to go back to the office to get some help. When we asked for the Lady for some more assistance on as far as where the cabin was. She slams down the papers she had in her hand and says, I just wish people had more common sense. I bit my tongue so hard. She then hops on her golf cart and takes us to our cabin. When we get inside, there are roaches all in the floor, some dead, some still crawling. We then check the bed and there are bed bugs mixed with roaches!!!! At this point we return to the office and tell Charlotte (the RUDE office worker) about the issue. She then tells us that she had just left that cabin and there ARE no bugs!!! She obviously did not go into that cabin!!! When we ask for a refund she refuses to give us one. We lost over $300 left that night... Just do yourself a favor and do not go to Ripplin waters resort, they are THIEFS AND WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
So peaceful and quiet. Showers and bathrooms were extremely clean. I reccomend it to everyone!
The plus close to interstate, all gravel sites. It doesn’t have good WiFi nor looks to be taken care of on the outside bye the sites, grass and trash. Wasn’t very satisfied with the staff! Short lady in office very rude and short! Bathrooms and laundry nasty, dirty mold on some of the showers. Gray headed man on golf cart no help, worried about smoking, very rude, stinky, and wouldn’t let my granddaughter use bathroom due to he was in there “cleaning” told granddaughter she can use bathroom while he was in there!
Very nice place and good people there I will come back again soon.
Im down from texas on 6 month job I wanted a nice quiet campground to stay at played for 2 months 1st month almost down when I start having privacy issues I work nights so Im sleeping when I get woken up to some noises outside then a knock on my camper Im startled to look out my window to a scruffy white male I want to move campgrounds I dont want to problems just want my money back for the month Ive played for but havnet stayed call the office the lady said its her money now theres no refunds well in my book that is stealing so Im In 1100 dollars and she says the other rv lots have no refund so thats what shell do very bad experience I wisely recommend staying away
Went there and got flooded out had stay 1 night if 3 gave credit for the other two nights yet when called to make reservations for the two nights she said No she wasnt doing it so money was definitely wasted on something not our fault.
Not a bad stay but very cramped. Many RVs all crammed in together, nose to butt on the inner camp sites. Lots of kids with bikes and balls. Campers were friendly. No real place to grill and no fire pits. There was a pool, camp store and bath house. They also sell propane. Bath house is large and clean but poorly ventilated so it was a very uncomfortable shower. It was ok for one night but a little too cramped for how I like to RV.
Came across this place online and thought it would be a nice area for my sons birthday party. On their website it clearly says, lakeside pavilion is the perfect place for most church picnics, class reunion picnics, family reunions, wedding receptions, and more. So I call, no one answers and I leave a message. No one returns my call so I call back and got someone this time and I ask if they rent the lakeside pavilion for birthdays. The lady says no! They need to make that clear on their website..I just kinda got the impression that they pick and choose what events they want to allow a certain time..
The people who run the place or own the place are vary nosey.thay complain about anything you put up around your camper
Excellent campground. Full hookups. Nice room.
Well maintained. A little pricey since they add 3 or 4 percent if you use a credit card. Their cable tv did not work on my site and the one on either side of me. Was reported by the previous camper, but nothing was done about it. Good wifi though.
Nice and quiet camp ground, sites a little small, friendly people and staff, nice facilities. Would return.
Recovering from flood but doing ok
This is a wonderful camp ground the manager is very helpful and friendly the bath house are spottless i will be back again and would highly recomend this family and friendly campground to any one
Was just visiting friends. Seemed like a nice place.
Beautiful place, very peaceful. Friendly people that work there. Campground is clean and very well maintained. Will be back.
Family/pet friendly
Lots are cramped. Offers mo thly rentals which are even more cramped and way over priced. Staff is friendly and a convenient location. But rates are a bit high compared to some of the nicer parks that offer more ammenities.
We stayed for one night and watched the Superbowl using their satellite. Obviously it was the off season. The campsite area was empty and had recently flooded and was still somewhat muddy. The layout is confusing and no one offered to guide us into our site. The washrooms and laundry looked good although we did not use them. Everyone who have reviewed is certainly right on about the exit issue. Construction was almost completed at that area but Ive been to this area in the height of fall season and traffic on the highway is packed. The lady who registered us was hired help, an older woman who was somewhat unfamiliar with the brochure area but very nice and tried to help. I did not meet the owner or the young woman mentioned in other reviews.
Really a great place to camp
Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Cleanest bath house Ive ever seen.
Very clean convenient hook ups wonderful staff
Its a little tight getting in and out of there.especially if you have a big rig. Need a lot of water hose utilities are on the opposite side.
Really nice easy. In out friendly
We like the location, however, upon arriving we were upcharged 3% for using our card...it is very unusual for bank fees to be higher than 1.2-1.5% but I didn’t question it. Also, had to pay extra for children hahaha. Weird!! $12 each!! Sight was decent, WiFi is Free but NOT GOOD, store needed to be stocked with a better selection, and the staff was nosy and didn’t really let people just be. As we were leaving, we had to pull up top, get to a level area, unhook and do it again. Lady on the porch sent a guy over and instead of asking if everything was ok, he was very short and said we couldn’t park there and we had to explain what we were doing. He then had to explain to the lady on the porch what we were doing. Only one staff member was friendly, she gave meher personal dryer sheets because the store was out of them and she actually came over to see if we needed help as we were parked “illegally” lolPeople on here talked about how they escorted you to your sight, I think it has more to do with making sure you didn’t hide extra people or something. Just an all around weird vibe...they must think everyone is trying To take advantage and bend rules. I mean it’s a campground, not a 5 star hotel. Chill out!! **Bring cash people...they upcharge the upcharge
Outstanding office staff. We stopped for a few nights on our return to our home in Florida. We had to extend due to Hurricane Matthew. They were very accommodating and allowed me to extend on a day by day basis. I did have to move due to previous reservations, but it was not an issue.Campground is located south of I-40 and was much easier to access than when we stayed in Pigeon Forge. Didnt have to manuever through miles of traffic. Grounds are well kept. Sites are close, but easy to park. Will definitely return. We stayed in a 38 motorhome with a tow dolly.
Clean restrooms, clean pool, great place to park your camper
Awesome campground convenient to stores & restaurants
This is a great place to camp near Dollywood in Sayreville Tennessee located right on the main strip yet setback on the river very nice place a lot to do in the area
Love visiting here. Away from the traffic but still convient and close to attractions.
Great place to camp - Great staff there also. Love that our site was on the river side and the kids loved the fishing there. Will be back again......Kathy
CAUTION: NOT A GOOD BUSINESSI called in March and made a reservation with this RV campground. Plans were changed and I called in June to cancel the reservation. I was told we had no reservation so I was not concerned about it. In July I noticed that I was charged $40.00 for not showing up on my cancelled reservation date. When I called about the charge, I was told that they would not credit my account and there was nothing I could do. I tried to contact the business several times to discuss the issue, but they refused to discuss it and hung up on me. Fortunately, as we drove by this location to another RV campsite, I saw that this location was definitely not where we would wanted to have stayed. The pictures make it look beautiful, but very deceptive.
