Such a beautiful hike along soldiers pass to brims Mesa and around. I recommend parking at the Jordan Trailhead as there are many less cars and many more spots. We did the hike clockwise and there was one steep incline but other than that, it was moderate. The views were spectacular. We started at sunrise and enjoyed quite a bit of shade and reasonable temperatures before the heat started setting in. We took a break at the caves and got back to our car around 9.
Easy hiking trail with spectacular views. Tiny parking though, only 14 spots.
An easy hike with gorgeous views. The Seven Sacred Pools is beautiful, and must be incredible after rain or snow. The sink hole was a crazy sight as well. The real reason I came here, however, was for the Secret Cave hidden in the area.I passed it up originally by about 2 miles, but found it on my way back. It was a good size, and easy to get to. I only wish I made it at a better time of day for the perfect lighting. Either way, it made the trip and was totally worth it. Ive included a photo that should be helpful in finding the trail to the cave.My only gripe is the parking lot only holds a few cars. If theres no spot, you are SOL.
This was my favorite hike that we did in Sedona. So beautiful and pretty diverse. A nice balance of shaded and exposed areas. Pretty gradual elevation wise until the end great views all the way through. The seven pools were pretty cool too there were tons of little tadpoles.
My second best favorite Sedona trail. I love caves!!
Devils Kitchen Sinkhole, Soldiers Arch (& cave) via Soldiers Pass Trail (see All Trails App for details on how to specifically arrive to these areas)
So beautiful!!! Great slightly challenging hike. Bring water! The vortex pools and sink holes are not very far in so you can enjoy them on the way in and out! Btw... google maps works here if you get a little turned around! It did for us. Parking is a bear, but worth it!!
Did the Jeep tour. Amazing views. Fun time.
Road this trail and others nearby during the Sedona MTB Festival. It has amazing views and is a lot of fun to ride or hike.
Very beautiful route, I saw a really cool ant but my wife made me take a picture of her and I couldnt find the ant again
One of my favorite trails in Sedona. Beautiful views & the cave (turnoff is just before the red rock secret wilderness sign), is amazing! Ran into a lot of jeep traffic near the 7 sacred pools, but otherwise a mildly human populated trail.
Easy hike with stunning scenery, a sinkhole, and natural pools to discover.
Moderate trail. The weather is nice. Definitely use sunscreen because there isnt a lot of shade once you get to the top.
Great views great hike.
It was very pretty, a moderate hike. If you want to go to the cave, prepare to get lost a couple times before you make it there. Pack water. Lots of it.
Our favorite Sedona hike, limited parking!!
Easy but long trail. Plenty of wildlife. Saw coyotes and deer. Theres a neat cave to visit too, with a kinda sketchy ascent. Fun.
Wasnt my favorite hike in Sedona but not bad for a leisure walk in the park.
Scenic easy trail
Nice trail. Scenic would rate easy hike but worth it
Long hike a few steep spots but well worth all the views
The arch is beautiful.. 100% recommended goin
We didnt make it to the cave, still enjoyed being with nature.
Great hike, recommend.
Really nice. Not a particularly challenging trail, which makes for a fun day hike. Great scenery
It was pretty nice except for a nasty deadpool with plenty of mosquito breeding near the trailhead. Limited parking available.
Easy to follow with breathe taking views! Cant wait to do it again!
Very beautiful scenery and intimate off-road trail
Great trail.
Amazing hike with incredible views makes a nice loop if combined with Prins Mesa and Cibola Pass. Loops about 4.5 miles
Great hike in beautiful country.
Easy to find and miles of trails.
Nice trail, but not as many sights to see along it as some AllTrails reviews suggested (might have been the time of year).
Walked Soldiers and did loop into Brins Mesa... daughters 10 & 12... rested along the way but long hike. Scenery was beautiful and while the kids were tired, it was amazing
Great trail when not muddy!
Permit needed to drive this trail
Trail to the right takes you to the caves.
Excellent hike.
TOUGH HIKESTUNNING VIEWS
