Huge clean park awesome size playground for kids of all ages with tons of different things to do. Whole park is lined with very smooth paved concrete trail. Two dog parks one small fenced in one for why smaller dogs and one HUGE one fenced in for bigger social ones. Also has a lot of actual walking trails in the woods too. Bathrooms in parking lot both entrances close gate at ten pm and bathrooms at 7
Nice park in Seattle. Didnt even know this place existed until we were looking for parks where it looked like we could be socially distant but still enjoy the outdoors.Theres a good size lot for parking on either entrances of the park. Also a nice community garden that is well maintained, zipline playground for kids.
Huuuuge park with something for everyone. Trails are nice, and there is a very large dog park that is always popular. I do see broken glass in the parking lot every time Im there, so I imagine there is a smash and grab about once a week. I dont think its from the person who lives there in a tent, but who knows. Bathrooms are closed.
One of only a few in Seattle that can boast having an off-leash dog park and a kids playground on site. Theres also plenty of open grass field surrounding the playground for the ball kickers and catchers. So much so that I wish theyd used some of it to make the playground a little bigger. Still, perfect for anyone with kids and/or four-legged friends.
The park has a nice view of the mountains, downtown Seattle, space needle, and has bathrooms that close at 7pm. There are benches at the places with the best views or play places (those kid jungle gym things). Its above the airport so theres a good view of planes taking off!
Its a park, enough said. Having said that tho, its a huge park and it even has two giant tanks of dihydrogen monoxide - is it safe? Ive heard the stuff is so corrosive it can rust pipes, and if you inhale too much of it it could kill you.... Awesome park tho!
Guess it depends on what your looking for in a park. Has a nice open field for flying kites, lounging in the sun, or setting up volleyball nets. Nice little playground for the kids with a few swings, multiple slides, and a zip line. Also a couple of bathrooms near this section.A second section of the park up the hill to the south has a small overlook to the rest of the park with some seating and small little amphitheatre style cemented area. Behind this is a community garden that leads to another really small play area for kids.To the west of the overlook, there is a small dog off leash area, and further west is a larger off leash dog park with obstacles for them to run through.Pretty decent little park tucked away in West Seattle. I prefer a bit more shade available, but this was a great area for my nephews 2nd birthday.
I always take my dogs here. My new puppy loves the agility corner.
Great park! 2 entrances that are easy to access. Large area in the middle of the park for playing and throwing balls. Great shaded walking path.
Great off leash park. Has a number of different trails (leashed and off-leash), play equipment, and ball throw areas.
We found this little gem while getting some tacos and kids wanted to go to the park. Googled a few parks and this one came up. You would never know this existed if you drive by it. We love bringing the kids here
Its beautiful here, almost no trash. 2/5 dog owners i come across unleash their dogs here though, seeing as how theres a dedicated place for that just a few feet away I find that very annoying.
One of the coolest parks! Great path for riding bikes and even a little zip line
Great dog park in a quiet suburb! It has a community garden and playground, and the off leash area is pretty big and fully fenced off. Lots of poop bag stations if you forgot yours, and everyone is very friendly and respects social distancing :) My dog is a fan!
Always love this park. It has a small system of trails, an off leash dog park, a playground, a garden, a walking area and a field. We go here often and dont even have a dog.
Great off leash park with great doggy parents who understand puppies will be puppies.
This might be a nice place to take your pups, but BE WARNED that your vehicle is at high risk for damage and theft in the north parking lot, even in broad daylight.A few months ago, we had our car window smashed in, right in plain view in the afternoon. A review of police reports show this is a common occurrence. The locals know it’s a problem. Just today there was broken car window glass all over the parking lot.The criminal activity and lack of security here is a big problem. While it’s very convenient and we’ve been back since, I’d recommend heading over to someplace like Marymoore Park because it’s miles safer.
Kaju my friends dog had a great time there. So I could see all kinds of breeds, sizes and colors of dogs. All happy out of bounds running and playing so were the owners. A great place for to experience what happiness is all about.
Large park with different sections many nice trails to walk also has off leash dog park, has a community garden thats fairly new parks been there for decades as kids we used to build forts & bike the trails fun stuff as kids now I enjoy as adult I walk my dogs on on leash trails theres also a play area for kids with slides swing ect. Almost dont feel like your rite in a major city when in the trails only down side at times small parking lot gets packed.
New playground. Awesome walkways
Great park to go hiking, excellent for dogs. Tons of trails and beautiful forest. Some homeless tents scattered throughout but never have had an issue.
I enjoy going here, you can basically do anything, from playing a mini Soccer game to taking your dog to the nearby dog park, or enjoy the mini forest close by!! They have a zipline, which my siblings enjoy, as not all the parks have one.
So many good dogs, theyre all good dogs.
Me and the kids had fun.
Cute little park
This park is great for dogs! Theres a lot of room for them to run and play and socialize with other dogs. Our dog absolutely loves it
I love this place so much. The wooded trail is a nice easy walk and surprisingly peaceful, the off-leash loop is actually pleasant and mostly shaded, and the larger dog area is spacious and well maintained. We always spend more time there than we mean to, and my dog especially loves the smaller, quieter Small and Shy Dog area.
I cant say enough about this lovely park it has something for everyone literally! Two parks, picnic tables, flat walking track, hills with a loop to ride little kids bikes, bathrooms, dog park,SM DOG AREA,all dog area water for pups, covered dog area seating off leash trails and three parking lots. The only issues Ive seen is car break ins but we go a lot and its never happened to me TAKE NOTHING OF VALUE AND LEAVE NOTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR....problem solved I hope this helps! Please clean up your own trash I want this park our one nice park to stay that way!-THANK YOU
Perfect place for pups and people! We love taking our dogs here. There is a small/shy pup area that is enclosed. The rest of the park is huge and dogs can run around and play while people can sit on the benches. There is also a shaded seating area. The watering station is great and there is a small hike unleashed dogs and their people can go on. The parking lot is small and can get a bit crowded but overall, its a fun dog park.
Best dog park in the city. But, please, please, please, dont let Fido run around off-leash outside the dog-park. My son was bit by an overexcited pooch. Great in summer. Lots of trails to explore, but this park is most magical when it snows. Seattles unofficial ski slopes offer some of the best and safest sledding around.
Big. Off leash dog area has a trail with lots of shade. Play areas are mostly dirt, but there is a grassy hillside. Sometimes scoop bags are provided, but they dont always get filled right away. Theres bins for donated scoop bags, like old shopping bags all over the park. The playground is nice too, there arent really trees or shade though.
Nice park to walk around and to bring children for some play time.
We love the dog park here. Its very big, and has some nice walking trails in it as well. The park on the whole is beautiful as well.
Great place to walk, but too many people take dogs off leash in areas outside the valid off leash areas. Some of those owners have aggressive dogs.
Plenty of open area for exercising, dog play, kids, etc
My dog and I love this dog park!
Nice place to stretch your legs and take a walk. Has areas for children to play and a nice view of Seattle and the space needle.
This is the nicest dog park Ive ever been to, and Ive been to quite a few. Nice variety of shaded/wooded areas and wide open areas. Multiple watering spots. Plenty of benches and a roofed seating area. Even a small fenced area for shy dogs. The only complaint I can make is that it takes unreasonably long to get the dumpsters emptied, but their locations make them at least fairly easy to avoid smelling.
Its a huge park with offleash dog areas.
A favorite dog park for my pack. We like the loop, the multiple fields and watering stations, plus the doggie trails on the bottom side for all the zooms!
Such a fun off lease park with a huge on lease trail section!
Great place for a walk, bringing some kiddos or pups. Also a great Pokemon Go location.
This is a hidden gem with a lot of diversity to offer. A large dog park, a woodland trail system, a playground for wee ones in the southern portion and one for 5-12 year olds in the northern part, grassy fields and more wildland hills, and a good view of Seattle. It is usually a little windy, so kite-flying is a good option. And when the Blue Angels are practicing (before Seafair), this is a great place to watch them.
Gorgeous sunrise and perfect for scootering or rollerblading. Great for stargazing.
There is an amazing set of okay equipment here. Plenty of great stuff from tiny toddlers through the bigger kids. Nice big fields to play ball or just frolic in.
Beautiful park! Amazing playground for kids, lots of climbing structures, a zipline, and a fun slide built into the hill that overlooks the off leash dog park! May favorite thing about this park is how Open it is, with lots of sidewalks. Perfect for kiddos who want to ride their bikes! Bathrooms are fairly clean. And lots of parking!
Great park
Nice big, well maintained off leash dog park, with friendly dogs and dog parents! There is a small shy dog area. A wooded trail, training equipment, and big Sandy areas to play fetch. And multiple fresh water spouts.
This park is awesome. The ziplines are a favorite
Me and Daisy always have a real nice time when we go to this park. I am so lucky to live near west Crest Daisy is a adolescent beagle so in saying that you know she is full of life.Thank
Great dog park
The kids and the dogs love this park! The dog area is huge, and the kids love the zip lines.
Has a separate area for my small little guy, which I love. Lots of woods and trees and things to sniff. The park is nice but some of the dogs that were there last time I went probably should have been left at home. Saw a pretty bad fight break out between a large breed dog and a small breed guy, which seemed completely unprovoked. Please don’t bring your aggressive dog to the park to “socialize” them. Dog parks are for well-socialized dogs only. It is a danger to everyone if you bring your aggressive dog here.
A great spot to unleash the hounds. Different levels, path for humans to leisurely walk, small dogs area. Water provided, although spirits may be shut for winter. COLA and Parks Dept need to schedule repairs within park. Owners need to pick up after Fido a little more. Dog parks are a value to any community, please support this resource that benefits the community.
Cool zip lines and playground for the kiddos. Nice dog park from what I could see.
Came here for Saturday afternoon in order to volunteer with Earth Corp, during my brief time there I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the forest. This is a great place to take a walk.
Awesome playground, our 8 year old was nervous about the rope dome at first but soon was sitting on top of the world. We went right up with him. Zipline is also super fun (what playground has a zipline!?) But one of the 2 was broken. Nice paved sidewalk all around for jogging and a fenced In Dog park at the bottom of the hill.
My roommates dog and roommate and I enjoyed the dog park thoroughly.
Its pretty incredible to be able to step out of my house, walk a few blocks, and be in an old growth forest. Pair that with big fields, play space for kids, bike path and dog runs and youve got a top notch destination!
Great place the whole family can enjoy. There are plenty of open spaces to relax and picnic. The kids park is new and up to date with plenty of challenges for the kids. The dog park portion is a great off leash park. Great place for dogs to learn social skills with other dogs and owners to learn more about dog behavior. There is a nice circular walking path and open areas that are off leash and something for all dog types. There are a lot of regulars that use the dog park and it is a nice and friendly environment for all.
Car window was broken in broad daylight at 10 in the morning. Do not keep any valuables or anything that looks valuable in your car thats parked in the parking lot.
Calm and peaceful
We went to the dog park and absolutely loved it!
Nice size park for dogs of all sizes. Upper level is fenced off for small dogs,
Lots of space and terrain for your little buddies to play. Nice community. Not many snobby dog-douches.
Prolly best off leash dog park in Seattle, place for small or nervous dogs, kids playground with fun climbing dome, large field to fly kite or practice your boomerang throw, serene walking trails through woods below main field, also great views of downtown Seattle from up top.3 different parking lots that I know of from different sides.Wind sculpture art and its kept clean and safe.Seattle should be proud of this park.
Hilltop views of City and county airport, really nice playground. Variety of wooded trails
Pretty good park, but some really bad dog owners who dont pay attention to their dogs and are oblivious to their dogs mannerisms. And its overrun by dog walkers in the early afternoon. Theres a small dog section thats often occupied by dog walkers with 10-15 big dogs. Plenty of room in the rest of the park for them... Can we maybe encourage a different practice if youre going to be bringing a pack of dogs into the park? Our little dogs need a place to play. Thanks. Glad we had this little talk.
Personally wouldnt visit park day or night. Used the restroom, once. Demographic high crime activity. Night time drug transactions in park. In fall & winter homeless try to live in the restrooms. Needles, clothes, graffiti, & fecal matter inside & outside restrooms, & in grass field. SPD hampered by Seattle mayor & city attorney to enforce criminal activity.
This place is perfect if you have a child and dog and both at the same thing even! I go here to talk my daughter and our pup so I can tire them both out, then relax and have a nice picnic on the grass. The dog park is also an off leash area for all dogs as well as a separate place for small/shy dogs just Incase they might not be ready for the big open space, off leash, they can hang out in the smaller area to warm up first. Its a great place to hangout with the fam for sure
Large outdoor areas with many trails and off-leash dog park
My friend and I went to the dog park next door. I havent been but it was quite nice and big. I saw it before but when I was in it, I was really surprised how big it was. Glad I went. If you dog sit or dog walk, go there. They even have a little area for the smaller dogs too.
Nice little park at take the family to. Something for all age kids to do and enjoy.
The only thing is the lake. It has algae other than that. Its a great place to walk, run and play.
Lovely place with lots of space and different places to play for every member of your family! I love the diversity in the dog park and, though its fairly easy to get a little lost looking for WHICH parking lot leads to certain areas, also easy to navigate once in. I absolutely love the nature of the dog park and that its entirely fenced in with a free range loop to walk as well as leashed trails in the woods. My pooch loves it and I hope to share it with my child once hes old enough to run around a park.
Clean, friendly, safe. Great space for walking and doggie fun.
Beautiful views and lots of space for everyone. The park is clean and safe with plenty of parking. There are about 3 large play units plus 2 slides and 2 zip lines. It’s never crowded so no waiting for the zip line. There’s an area for dogs plus a section for walking trails. I like how there’s also picnic tables. We bring our scooters because the paths make it easy and fun. The bathrooms could be better maintained but overall it has running water and working toilets. Although pack toilet paper just in case!
Nice park with off leash area for dogs, community pea patch and super cool play area for kids with zip lines. Has a great view of downtown Seattle at one platform. I use the walking trail which is concrete so that is also good for bikes and strollers. Also has some wooded trails which I have not explored.
Need a park for the kids? CheckNeed a playground? Check.Need wide open spaces? Check.Need a paved path for bikes? Check.Need a community garden? CheckNeed a multi acre off leash dog park? Check.Need a few miles of easy hiking trailed in a wooded area? Check.Need clean bathrooms open year round? Check. If you need more than that, good luck. This place fantastic for all ages with 2 legs and 4 legs. See you there soon!!
When the sun shines this park shines! And this visit the sun had been about enough to really dry out to park and make it a comfortable place for dogs and their humans to enjoy the day.
Great park with sweeping vistas, a large playground, a p-patch, off-leash dog areas, and wooded trails. It seems like its still under development, too. For now, there is plenty of wide open space.
Great for dogs
Very refreshing and green
Huge off leash area with plenty of dogs when we went. It wasnt crowded but still plenty of other dogs for our dog to socialize with. There is also a smaller area doe small/shy dogs as well.
One of the main gates was left open and our dogs, as well as a few others got out. There are several homeless camps in the woods behind the dog park and 2 of my dogs needed up shot with a pellet gun. Thankfully, the park came in and made sure their gates are now secured. But due to the problems, I wont be back.
I really want to like this park, but some of the people that go here seem to encourage their dogs to be aggressive. I suggest walking the loop if you go, its usually more relaxed back there.
Solid dog park usually highly visited so great for pets interacting. I had not been in years and was excited to see the expansion of the kids play area which looks like tons of fun. The small trails around the park are a nice and maintained.
