Great spot to watch the sunset over the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. Nice little park great for setting up a picnic blanket. Can be crowded during peak summer hours.

Sunset Hill Park lives up to its name at night, a clear unobstructed view (barring any cloud cover) of sunsets going down over the Olympic mountain range. This park is very narrow running along side the road, doesnt have any bathrooms, and parking can be a pain sometimes since its in a smaller neighborhood. With a few benches, you may be able to find a seat, but I recommend bringing your own chairs if possible just in case.

A hidden gem. We came across this park by accident on the way to the beach to watch the sunset. The beach was overcrowded and had no parking for miles. We turned around, easily found parking, and enjoyed a beautiful view from this park instead. The park is small but it was large enough for everyone who was there to comfortably social distance.

Very beautiful spot to watch the sunset. Although I have to confess that the only time I went there, there was too many people in this place, not keeping social distancing and not wearing masks. In regular times, this wont be an issue. But now you need to be extra careful. This spot is extra busy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It has a timeless view of Puget Sound, you can see clear over to the other side. On a good day a nice breeze blows up from the beach. The area is quiet and not a lot of people around.

Today was a beautiful day to visit this park. There are paved sidewalks to walk along with great views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. Nice little spot for a little picnic despite the unleashed couple of crabby old small dogs (Shame on the owner). I saw one old dog dropping and there were a number of dog walkers, I thought that was impressive. Very picturesque park.

Great nw veiws sw veiws as well. Shilshole bay marina, the Olympic peninsula, Olympic mountain range. The brothers. Mt. jupiter,Mt. Constance are a few peaks to see from here +many more. Sunsets from Here are spectacular, thus the parks namesake. Some dude tried to off himself years ago, by driving his car over the edge. He failed. Good thing he drove off in the wrong spot and the trees stopped him. Lucky dude I dont know what makes a guy want to go out that way?the old drive over a cliff thing. Hollywood.
