Everybody is so friendly, tha priest celebrates wonderful I love to go to this church
Very relaxed small parish. Friendly folks welcoming to newcomers or folks from out of town.
We were tourists visiting santa cruz. Went to mass on Sunday. And then came back for the parish fiesta to just join in the local church fun. The priest was nice and friendly. Music was great. However, didnt feel very welcomed by the rest of the community. Apart from the priest no one came and said hello. We were the only brown folk there and clearly they knew we were new. People seemed nice when we went from booth to booth. But no one stopped and chatted or welcomed us. Some did look at us funny. Like as if theyve never seen one of us. Kids however were nice especially to my son. Small church which we thought people would be more warm and welcoming. But no such luck.
San Agustin is a modern church community, warm and friendly and with the feel that everyone who walks in the door -- parishioners and visitors alike -- is family. The music is wonderful and the Masses always feel very alive.
Nice cello music. And folks were pretty friendly. But as far as the service went - way too contemporary for me. Chairs facing each other. Children walking in front of aisle. This is a prime example of how so many churches are bending over backwards to appease everyone and stay “in touch with the times” and stray way off the path of holiness. Ritual. Revereance. Call me old fashioned. Say I’m over the hill .... just sayin.
Great celebration of the Eucharist, lovable priest!
Very caring people and always asking if you need prayer.
My parents belong to San Agustin and I am so happy for them,Father John is such a great priest, so accessible and such a great orator.
Love the San Agustin Community, friendly parish. Beautiful music and I thoroughly enjoy Father Johns homilies.
A wonderful parish for Spiritual enrichment.
