Schenectady County Recreational Facility

Very nice rink with excellent ice. We participated in the Try Hockey day and it was very well run and we had a blast. The arena was well lit and the staff was friendly.

Great place for adults and kids! Good for rentals, and beginners, pros and everything in between.

My grandkids take skating and hockey lessons there through the Schenectady Youth Hockey League... what a fantastic organization of volunteers and professionals!

We have visited this location multiple times for the open skate event. Ice skate rentals and cost to skate are fair. Skate rentals are in decent shape, but work well enough for my three year old who is just learning. It is a great local spot for the community for a fun winter (actually year round) activity.

The staff is nice, the ice is great, and its not too crowded.

I grew up playing hockey here and still an amazing place to be.

After 2 yrs of begging still no diaper changing areas.

Seeing trash the ice soft and toilets broken and dirty

The ice is typically in pretty rough shape. Locker rooms leave a little be desired too. It works for what it is, some updates and repairs might be worthwhile though.

We visit every Christmas. Ive taught my 3 grandchildren to ice skate there. Its our tradition to go there. Good ice and the buckets are very helpful when learning.

Bundle up. Great rink, but bring ur woolies...I think theyre into cryogentics.

Rink is dirty and not cared for. Trash on floor in locker rooms bathrooms dirty and toilets broken.Avoid this place

Nice place to take the kids but needs new skates in the worst way! Smelly and wet. BRING YOUR OWN! Great prices.

Rink itself is easy to find and very nice. Open skate is very enjoyable as it never very crowded, great experiences overall.

Reasonable rates and 2 hour free skate on weekends. It can be busy and a free for all at times.

Great place to play some hockey!

Need to repair or replace heaters only a couple working . Monitors needed so you can walk out the door with out getting hit with a puck or stick kids playing hockey near exit.
