I loved this place and now it’s closed! My boyfriend and I had our first date here a few years ago and we drove by today and noticed it was completely closed down. So disappointed. This place was great.

Was a Sunday so it wasnt busy at all. Our server consistently checked to make sure we didnt need anything during dinner. The food was amazing. Added chicken to my mac & cheese. They use a nice juicy rotisserie chicken. The rosemary seasoned fries were delicious. The nachos were also, but could use more cheese.The water taste like tap water, could use ice in the glass bottles. The male bartender on the 1st floor was operating rather slowly for it to be as empty as it was. And was nonchalant until he got back to his buddies I assume that were drinking on the other end of the bar. Towards closing, the bartender upstairs did not inform us of last call for alcohol. We were all disappointed because we wanted shots before we left for closing. Oh....and for some reason the floors on the second floor and upstairs were sticky. I would give this place another shot. Had many group activities to indulge in.

The atmosphere was upbeat and lively. We tried many dishes and all were delicious in their own way. The staff was absolutely amazing to us.

I like the menu, different options from other places. Very tasty and good service. You can play bean bags and Jenga. They have a very cozy bowling alley upstairs. Overall a really nice place to eat, hang out, and have some fun.

Some of the best fried chicken Ive had. Wicked good crispy potatoes, and a killer white gravy.

Fun place to hang if youre not quite ready to go back home or to the hotel. Had a group in for business and after dinner needed a place to socialize. Played giant wall Scrabble and Jenga and Darts. Staff was super friendly.Bar offerings were great.Have eaten here before as well and the kitchen is on top of things. Great food and atmosphere.

Foods good. Drinks are good. Always ask what the featured punch of the day is. Sometimes it gets a little crowded on popular nights like Friday and Sat and sometimes either the cellar or basement can be rented out so you might not even be able to play any games. Overall, pretty good place to get a drink and chill with friends.

I miss this place since moving! Such great food, I was disappointed when they changed their menu and the kale sandwich left but alas, cant always win. The mac and cheese, burger, drinks, fries, also amazing dishes. Its fun as well but I hardly played the games, just kept going for meals! Keep it up with the amazing food!

I work for a company with a distributed team. The Punch Bowl was the choice for an after hours gathering place where we could get to know each other better. They have a number of team games such as bocce ball, bean bag toss, and bowling, giving participants the opportunity to get to know each other. The one negative to the venue is a lack of sounds dampening, making it hard to hear and be heard. Service was good and the food was okay. I would consider them for future group outings.

Very fun place with great food and activities. Some are free and some cost. It was a good balance. There were so many different spots to hang out at. I really enjoyed it.

Celebrated our office party this passed weekend and it was so much much. Food and drinks are great. Drinks are nice and strong without over doing it which I really appreciate. Everyone had a great time. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Such a fun place to go with friends. We went there for dinner and shared a punch bowl while playing board games. The next morning some of us went to their brunch and it was lovely.

Service was sketchy..We were told as long as we had our parties wristbands we could get drinks on any level..This was not true. While waiting at the bar the bartender on the main level looked right at me, decided saying hi to his buddy was more important than taking my order.( he did take his buddies order at that time) Atmosphere was nice the basement is pretty awesome with classic arcade games and bowling and a ton of other fun games..If it wasnt for the service experience this place would probably have gotten a higher rating.

We had our regional holiday party here and the team was wonderful. Our area was set up so there was easy flow, the servers were attentive and the bartenders never lost their smile while working with our large group. The karaoke room is fabulous. The food was good & the buffet was constantly refreshed.

Retro-chic atmosphere. Great food and drinks. chicken and waffles are bomb, as are the the shakes. Great for food and fun. Highly recommended for groups.

We went there for our 1st time and it was okay. The food was decent and our server was great, but the main attraction is the upstairs and downstairs where all the cool games are, and they had the upstairs booked with a party and told us we can only go downstairs. We went downstairs and we ordered a drink to get ready to play and they told us we could not do anything because there was another party booked downstairs. We would not have come if we could not play the games om a Saturday night. Also, all 4 samples of the punch bowl tasted awful. Maybe we would try again, but would call ahead to make sure there was no parties.

The place is fantastic and roomy, the meals was delicious and the prices were very economical. rapidly, efficient service and very affable waiters. Recommended.

Good food and games! Great for after work parties. Each bar has its on tab as do the games so be mindful. Would be much better if you could open one tab and let everyone use that instead of 3 different bills.

Fun place to spend the evening although there could be a little more order to the way games are reserved and used...I.e. someone may check out the bags for corn hole then sit down to dinner leaving the game in the cellar unavailable to anyone else to enjoy while they spend an hour in the dining room

This restaurant/entertainment venue was actually really cool. Along with outstanding bars in each of the 3 floors of activities, the eclectic choice of games makes this place a standout. Just to name a few, you can play ping pong, bowling, giant scrabble, giant jenga, table shuffle board, foosball, darts and numerous classic video games and pinball. My only deal criticism of the place is the drinks were a bit short for the price. They were more along the line of mixology drinks. They were good, just short. Other than that, this is a daters paradise and a great venue for a party.

I used to come here frequently with friends. Unfortunately I can no longer come here as they rip off businesses that pay good money to host parties.Had our company party here and were informed AFTER the fact that we couldnt take our leftovers.It would be nice to inform customers before hand about this BS rule. The entirety of the party were people who worked in the restaurant industry for over 40+ years for some of us and have NEVER heard of this ruleWill be informing my friend group who often attend here for parties to no longer attend. AND anyone who asks I will not recommend.Sorry my manager got extremely cross with you but ultimately it was deserved.

This is a really great place to bring large parties for lunch. Their biscuits are really yummy. I also enjoyed my Alabama Chicken Sandwich. Fried well, and not greasy.

Ive been to Punch Bowl Social a couple of times before - the concept really stood out to me and I never had issues when I gathered for drinks with a couple of buddies in the past.This past weekend, I booked a 20-person dinner reservation for a surprise party. The table we were put at had no space to sit people across from each other that were eating. We had ONE server for 20+ people. Server did not write down our orders and then ended up mixing everything up.It was taking 20+ minutes to get one drink (we were walking up to the bar in-between ordering drinks because that was the only way to get served in a timely manner). Food portions were minimal, and several peoples food was served cold. Almost every person in our party was charged incorrectly - we spent over half an hour trying to resolve everyones checks. The server who messed everything up was far from pleasant when addressing these issues.

This place was an amazing sports and karaoke bar Ive ever been. They have dart boards, bowling what not everything. If you were there at 9pm you will have enough time to enjoy.

2nd Time I come here to eat in and absolutely love it!!! Delish food as always. My new favorite is the carnitas tacos!!!

I ate here several times and the food was very well prepared each time. The menu has a great selection of food as well as drinks. The place is huge and I never had to wait for a seat which is always a good thing when you are really hungry. There are activities upstairs that I never tried but if I came with or met up with friends this place would be easy to spend hours eating, drinking and enjoying games. My biggest complaint is they dont have one where I live!

Bowling was very affordable and fun, punch bowl drink easily was consumed by 2 people in a 4 serving bowl!

This is a great place for small and large parties. I have worked with Michele several times for small gatherings and she never disappoints. The managers, bartenders and all staff are always great! We always have an awesome time making some great memories. I highly recommend this location for a fun time and especially for an event/party location. The Karaoke rooms are awesome!

The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all solid. Cant really say the drinks were worth the price, but the food definitely was. That being said, its pretty much elevated bar food, so it may not be worth it for some.

Expensive place to play free games you can play anywhere with long bar wait times and ok food. For an overpriced group outing you can have a decent time.

Place has potential but is understaffed. This multilevel facility could be amazing but manis it tough to get a drink in here. Bar areas are closed at 9pm. Those open have bartenders who ghost for 20mins at a time... they make it way too hard to give them money here!

Went in for a lunch with my sister who is vegan and I am not, I Had the falafel salad and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had and the atmosphere was great. A little pricey but the quality reflects.

Happy hour was decent. The adult activity options are a good variety. Bowling. Arcade. Bags. Awfully hot and the DJs volume was too loud.

Food is mediocre. Had the French Dip with chips. Chips were gross. Sandwich was decent. If going on the weekend don’t count on being able to play most of the games as they are all located in the private party area. With that being the case they should not advertise those as options instead advertise them as being included in the room rentals. Very disappointed and will not be back.

Came in a couple days ago with some friends. The drink menu was interesting, and I was feeling adventurous that night but couldn’t figure out exactly what to drink. Thankfully the bartender there George was hearing in on the conversation and jumped right in to help. His energy, and concern to help us made us feel like we made the right choice to come here!George made me a jalapeño cucumber limeade that was on the non-alcoholic side on the menu, but added tequila to it. Delicious! And he made my friend a high fashion which was amazing. My friends and I will for sure come back for the service. Drinks are a bit pricey though.

We hosted a party for 100+ people and we were set up in the attic. Staff was completely out of the loop about our audio visual needs even though we had specified in advance what was needed. Unfortunately, our coordinator was off that day so one of the servers aggressively assured us that everything was set up properly just before we went on stage. As we started our presentation, it fell flat and the microphones werent working. Our server was not sure what to do so she tried to call somebody, but it took 30 minutes before they could fix the issue. In the meantime, our presentation had already started so we had to keep going without the AV. Just seems like this place is not prepared for anything beyond a small party. Stick with the dinners but avoid depending on them for anything beyond that. I know that theyre starting to close down locations including the one in Dallas but those are paying should at least get a reasonable level of service.

I had the pleasure of coming to this establishment today 10.28.17 to celebrate my friends birthday. I had never heard of the restaurant/ game room before so I didnt know what to expect.I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the set up, the customer service and the food. We had such a great experience. Nothing over the top, just a nice time with friends in a well designed restaurant. Did I mention the food was great?!Food: I had the lobster fries (minus the bacon). I would recommend this appetizer. The fries were good and the pieces of lobster were j the fries was delightful. Its a big helping as the 4 of us were able to eat on the fries.For my main dish, I had the lobster roll sandwich. Another go to meal if you like a good lobster roll. Its was on the small side but didnt like anything in taste. Such a good sandwich!During the date, I had the pleasure of tasting the Chicken and waffles: good size meal, the taste was amazing, it came with one large waffles and 2 pieces of chicken with a flavory sauce and pecans. The pairing of them all was so good! Unexpected pleasure! The pot loaf: the presentation of the plate was excellent and the meat was so tender. OMFG GF Chicken: Chicken was fried to perfection and the salad was was different.The restaurants has more to offer then the food (which was so good). The waitress stated that they have bowling, botchy ball and a host of other things to do while there. Also, they have private karaoke rooms as well.Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and also will frequent this establishment again. This place would be great for families, teens, and first dates. I will be coming back again to try something different on the menu.

I was charged for other peoples food, and even though their were not many people, it was very difficult to get the bartenders attention (they were in what seemed to be an in depth discussion on something, my guess would not be how to get bigger tips). Maybe Ill go when its a bit busy & hope that might get people workn & not chatn. I spent enough time in the service industry to know a slow floor can lead to less than stellar service.

Attended a private party in the downstairs section of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this as a venue for a party, shower, reunion or company outing. Punch Bowl offers several different food and beverage options to meet whatever your needs may be.

Extremely rude service! We visited this place for the very first time thinking it was going to be a good experience. Our server Deep not only had ZERO patience for us (again, first time guests) he kept tapping his pen, kept trying to walk away, basically had his back to us the entire time, once we finished ordering he SLAMMED his server book closed and walked away. We didn’t even get to enjoy our drinks. We left immediately after. Will never step foot here again!

A great place to hang out any day. Also if you want to have a casual party or social gathering our entertain some demanding guests then this is the best place. You dont have to arrange our go anywhere else they have it all. It is also great for corporate events or if you want to arrange any kind of mixers for youth. Price is a bit on higher side but you get full worth of your money.Ive never been for dinner or lunch there but their happy hours are also good. If they dont have a private event then I would recommend to go upstairs and enjoy.If the review was helpful then do not forget to like it. Thanks

Very nice employees, however the hiring process is less than satisfactory. Was told how perfect i was for the job and they would reach out to me with my schedule and they never did. I followed up several times where they either didnt respond or they told me that it was still being worked on. Their communication skills are lacking. If they werent interested they should have said that instead of offering me a position and stringing me along for weeks.... I could have spent that time applying elsewhere instead of being offered something and waiting around for them.Update: It absolutely was the Schauburg location and i would be happy to forward you the email chain between me and Hailey K. She was my interviewer and there are numerous emails between us. As said above, I would be happy to supply them to you.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Jacob provided excellent service and we couldnt get enough of the biscuits and jelly! Our group enjoyed some kids meals, appetizers, and full size meals including the mac n cheese, chorizo fries, chicken sandwich, and more! Highly recommend!

We had our first experience at this establishment on a Saturday afternoon and I must say that I will recommend it to family and friends.The food was great and the options of entertainment were larger than my imagination .The menu choices are quite elaborate but I would like to thank Adam our server for being a class act the whole time we were there and helping us with our choices and providing awesome customer service overall.If you go ask for Adam. Didnt have the pleasure to speak to any of the other staff but they seemed to be on top of their game too.Overall great time.

Great wings, wish they just had a traditional buffalo but the sauce I had was decent. Beer list is great and if youre feeling adventurous ask the bartender to make you their favorite cocktail. A couple of them like to experiment and make up their own which is always nice to try out something new. Definitely reccomend going during happy hour as food can get a bit pricey for what you get.

One of the more creative bar scenes Ive seen. Multiple levels, bars and activities. They have vintage arcades namely NBA Jam. Also, bowling, bags, ping pong, bacci and more.

We had our company party here and it was fabulous. The atmosphere was fun the staff was amazing. They catered to us like we were the only customers in the whole wide world. I would highly recommend coming for any event that you have and definitely just to get out have a good time

We were so excited to come here because we heard so many great things about this place. Unfortunately we walked away very disappointed. When we arrived we were greeted by our host who looks less than thrilled to be at work. It was a Saturday night but it was very slow and many tables were empty. Our server came and to be honest, she is the only reason this place gets three stars from me. She was great, friendly and funny. Food was just ok. We started with hummus and also the chicken wings. Hummus was great but the wings were... Meh. My husband got the shrimp tacos and I got the chicken tacos. We were not wowed at all. So now that we finished, it was time to pay up and play the games that this restaurant is known for. Bowling, arcade games, darts, air hockey and a whole bunch of other games, but both downstairs and upstairs were booked with private parties and we were not allowed to play any of the games.... Anywhere. So were not too sure if we are coming back for the amount of money we spent and being disappointed. Lots of places to eat in Schaumburg.

We had a group that came in at 11 on a Saturday night. The service was just plain bad. There were no servers still working, the bartender acted annoyed and bothered to serve us, and we went to the bar a couple of times and there was no bartender there at all. Just not good. At least pretend to not hate your job.

Awesome service! You can taste the punch (for free) before ordering a full serving! Free games, some are $10, theres bowling and shoe rentals, food is pretty big portions, and drinks are decently priced. Great place to have a chill time or to bring a group of friends and have a fun night. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. This place is huge!

The token credit card machine down stairs broke and we could not charge the kids cards. The manager tried to fix it for like 20min but could not. He than gave both my kids $20 game cards!!! Super cool. And the food and drinks were just as great!

I absolutely love this place! The food is very delicious and super fresh. The upstairs bar is very cool. Unlimited free board games and a fire place definitely recommend this spot!

What a great time. Brought my kids there for spring break and we had such an awesome time. We didnt realize we were there for 5 hours. And I have teens. They werent asking to leave. My husband and I were impressed with the staff. From the bartenders to the games people. All so helpful and friendly! Not at all a kiddie place. Great for team building.

I have been here 5 times and every time the food has been phenomenal! Staff is knowledgeable about the whole menu and also the drink menu. The have specialty punch that has been created every month I believe. There are three different levels you can hangout and socialize. Its a great place for whatever you feel like doing that night, socializing, drinking, and most importantly having fun with whoever you go with.

My son and I stopped by for lunch to kill a few hours bowling between soccer games at Olympic Park. He has a laundry list of allergies. When we were seated by the hostess she asked if he needed a childrens menu. I told her no he has a lot of allergies. She informed me they have gluten free options to which I thanked her and informed her they were beyond gluten.Waiter came took our drink orders, brought our drinks, took my food order and said OK when I told him we had food for my son.A couple minutes later he brought out some sort of roll to gnaw on.Then Jose the magical manager showed up at our table. He said we dont allow outside food and informed me my son couldnt eat when we prepared for him.I informed him of the allergy issues to which he shrugged off my response until I asked him why nobody informed me before they took my order. I informed him our plan was to bowl for the next 2 hours. He eventually offered to comp the bowling, but I told him I wasnt interested. I was not looking for a handout.A restaurant that has a sign stating Safe Place posted should take care to realize theres a lot of families carrying around epi-pens at all times. Not because they enjoy it, but because their childs life depends on it.Now I understand Im at fault as well. We had his food out in the open, mentioned allergies to the hostess and waiter, but didnt specifically ask if he would be allowed to eat it.As soon as Jose left, my son asked if we could leave. I got my food to go, paid, and we went bowling at the alley in the mall.Pretty bad experience, but I guess it is a reminder to ask rather than assume a restaurant cares if theres anyone with sever allergies.Thank you for making an 9 year-old cry. I know he needs to toughen up, but shouldnt be due to the way a restaurant treats their customers.Food: It was good. The best damn place I have been in years!!! Great food! Great staff! Countless activities! 10000000% recommended. Too bad we dont have one here in grand Rapids.
