My girlfriend and I attempted to eat here but ended up leaving due to our incredibly rude server, (named) Spencer. After each of us ordering a coke, she noticed they had a “Burger and Brew” special, so decided she would do that instead. When Spencer came back with our cokes, I explained she changed her mind and that I didn’t care if he left hers with me to save him a trip to the bar in the future, since he now had to go back for her beer. After staring at us for probably ten seconds without saying anything, I summarized what I had just said and confirmed that soft drink refills were free. He made a point to bring up how he would have to go to the trouble of adjusting the bill and after taking her new drink order said as well, it would be beneficial if we did a better job of giving him a heads up going forward if we change our minds again. I told him he was being rude and other than having to adjust the bill, we figured out a way to not really inconvenience him and that we weren’t going to stay if he was going to keep acting like this. As I think I caught him off guard from previously being so polite, he quickly changed his tune, and said everything was no problem. I told him if that was the truth he would have acted very differently and we wouldn’t be sticking around to find out if he would be. Upon leaving we spoke with the manager to explain what happened and that we wouldn’t be paying for the two cokes we didn’t get so far as to even have a sip of, to which she was very understanding of. She encouraged us to stay, offered a different server and to let them take care of us to which we told her maybe in the future. The situation more or less evened itself out, but honestly as it shouldn’t have happened in the first place, I’m still leaving this review. I’m not sure why Spencer got that indignant over having to do a few extra, mindless key strokes behind the counter, as it honestly wasn’t an issue at all for me to compose this entire review.

Great little hideout spot for me and the family!! We absolutely love this place. Right next to the mall, staff is friendly and there’s plenty to do. If you love Dave & Buster’s this game room, sports bar or restaurant is right in competition with the likes of a Johnny Rockets, Rainforest CAFE or Dave and Buster. Best game room near or around the north east or north west Chicago suburbs.

For the pandemic, it was pretty dead but still open and still pretty fun. You need to wear your mask at all times.

Ive been wanting to stop in here for a while. I didnt even realize they have been open for over 5 years!! The place felt very new when we walked in for the first time. Make sure you walk in from the street and not from inside the mall. Reason I say this is on the ground floor is a little history museum of sorts of Pac Man. Also a larger than life lego version of Pac Man.Inside is lots of fun for kids and adults. From retro pinball machines and every version of Pac Man ever made all in arcade style. It was awesome to play some retro pinball machines and even played Tapper!! Thats one of my favorites from the 80s. You will find Tron and Centipede and the list goes on.There is also a full size bowling alley. With about 10 lanes. We didnt participate in this but it looked fun. On the other side is a full arcade stocked with modern versions of play for ticket games. But there are some unique games there too. Like a life size claw game! Also huge screen games that bring the retro games to the 2020s!!In the middle is a full restaurant and bar area. We visited the bar for a pre anniversary drink. The bartender was nice and filled us in on some tips about the Pac Man experience. This is a great place to let your kids go wild in the arcades while you have a few drinks. We did glance at the menu for food and as expected the food prices are a bit high. But it is Woodfield Mall and we decided against eating there. Not because the prices were too high, just interested in a couple beers and taking in the sites of the highly visually stimulating surroundings.All in all, I would say this is a great family night place to visit. Get your retro gaming on, or maybe a few games of bowling and drinks! We will come back again!

It was not as fun as expected. I would have liked to see more games. I also feel like staff should be more involved in making sure people are cleaning games when they are done.

I don’t even know where to start! Our experience was above and beyond our expectations. This was our first time back since Covid and we were a little worried but to my surprise they were handling everything very well!We sat at the bar towards the bowling lanes and my fiancé and I enjoyed multiple drinks which were amazingly delicious. Our food was amazing! My fries came out super hard and burnt and they did not hesitate to bring me some new fresh ones. Not to mention the manager Benji, was so amazing! He seriously went above and beyond for us. We were bummed to find out that our Pac-Man card from the Yorktown location wouldn’t work there. We still had a credit on that one so we wanted to use it, Benji called the Yorktown location to figure out the balance and gave us a card from their location to use with the remaining balance from the previous location. The fact that he took his time to do this for us was just so amazing and kind and spoke volumes on how much he wants his customers to enjoy their time there. My fiancé was so impressed and kept saying good things about him. When we would pass by him, he would ask if everything is going OK every time. This was probably one of my best experiences in such a big facility that has so much going on. The fact that the manager kept asking if we were OK and making sure we were happy with our visit meant a lot to us because most managers these days don’t care. He really enjoys his job from what it looks like. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, drinks and a lot of entertainment!.Thank you Benji for the amazing date night experience for my fiancé and I on Saturday night! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, the drinks are great (happy hour is the best around, AND goes to 7pm most weekdays!!), and I can play the games for hours on end. I especially love the cheaper retro games on the left side of the restaurant! I’ve always had amazing service and the manager Katie is really nice and usually stops by my table to say hi to my group. Sometimes she gives me a free 30 minute game card!!! Excellent management and an overall professional team!

Meh.. pretty expensive but I did know that going there. I just dont like when places run very black n white while the staff has no authority to help or adjust. For example, the more credits you put on the game card the more bonus credits you receive. I wanted to buy $100 worth but they would not honor the full additional bonus credits... this is because I wanted to split this $100 into five different cards. The girl was helpless and couldnt do anything but blame the system. They also turned the bowling alley off on us mid game without asking if wed like to continue. Will I go back? Well try some other place.

A nice alternative to Dave and Busters with a Pac-Man theme. Has classic Pac-Man games and pinball machines as well as a small area dedicated to the history of Pac-Man with a giant Lego statue of the character. Food was pretty decent and drinks were good too.

Great food, great games, great fun! Takes a little bit for food, but totally worth the wait. Oh and dont forget to get the host when a yellow head pin pops up when bowling!!!

Came here on Monday, 08/31 with some friends to pass time, lucky that I still had my original card with some balance in it that I had purchased all the way back before the shutdown started, first impressions upon entering was that they moved the machines to purchase cards near the bar, (they used to be near the door entrance of the cafeteria from the mall) but it’s all good, staff definitely took it serious with health guidelines in terms of social distancing and wearing masks, the majority of the games were working, I barely saw any that weren’t, better than Gameworks in my opinion since I didn’t have a good experience there in the past.. but overall this place is pretty optimal! As well as they also have a bowling alley! and a bar as mentioned earlier. I also like how each day they have special deals! when I came on Monday, every game I played was half off! 100% sure I’ll be coming back even though it’s a bit far from where I live, it’s worth the drive!If you want to have a great experience with your family, friends or even just by yourself not only in a arcade packed with fun games but with bowling alleys and a bar, then this place comes highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere right off the bat. There was live music which by the way was fantastic and I dont think they do it regularly. The food is surprisingly great! The server was a bit inexperienced, but made up for his effort for finding out information. The arcade was pricey and $20 wont take long to use up. The bowling alley was very new and a perfect addition to the location. The arcade was a blast that I could spend a ton of time in. I will most definitely take the family and friends here again!

What a unique place. Good food, awesome games, good music and good drinks. We took a group of middle school kids and the kids and the parents all equally had fun. Love it.

Went here with my husband for our first anniversary. After coming from a dissapointing experience at the round 1 in the Stratford Mall, we decided to go somewhere we both love. Weve been here before and have loved it everytime. Our main priority was to win a bunch of the stuffed prizes and was not dissapointed! Not too bad of a price point to buy credits for the games. The gentleman helping with all of the games was absolutely phenomenal. The service is always good when we go. Absolutely recommend for source of entertainment.

Had a blast playing arcade games. No charge for the game money card that you use and refill to play games, NICE.There was three car driving games, one motor cycle game, about five FPS games, and a few classics like Pacman or space Invaders.I also saw a few basket ball games for tickets.I cant remember if they have skeeball.Most of the fancy graphics games cost $1.50 and I only ran across one game that cost $2.00 so on average I would say the games cost a buck to play.

Wish I could give 10 ten stars. Holy moly. Something for everyone here. Dang good food. Great drink prices. Awesome games from the classics to VR. Everyone should come here. Its a bit of a drive for us, but we will be back!

We found it on a whim.. just wanted to find a spot to sit for a minute and saw it in the back corner of the food court. Pretty cool set up for a kids birthday party. Most games are $2 but there is an old school area.

Had a blast! Enjoyed playing some of my favorite arcade games. The atmosphere made you feel comfortable with retro and modern aspects. Cant say I will be back in the area anytime soon, but I would definitely recommend.

I went here for the food and I stayed for the games! The place looks amazing and the atmosphere was just plain FUN! The food was delicious, the service was spectacular, a must visit if youre in the area.

This was a good mainline arcade. Its smaller than Dave & Busters and Gameworks, yet I managed to have just as much fun. For dinner I had pizza which was a fair price and tasted delicious. There is a good variety of modern arcade games. Retro arcade games focus heavily on the early 80s so you wont find any later 16 bit games. Theres a number of pinball games. A few were not working but I was pleased to see a technician actively working to fix one when I was there. Ticket redemption is a little lacking. A lot less choices, especially at the lower ticket counts. Cant just grab a few candies. I didnt do bowling so I cant comment on that.

We were having a great time and enjoying our experience until the employees began harassing us and being rude. They ruined our experience, which had been great. They were very mean to my kids and were rude to us. We spent a LOT of money here on food, drinks and entertainment and were planning to come back but after this experience, we will spend our money elsewhere. We will not be back.They say they are worried about health and requiring masks, yet no one cleaned a single piece of equipment in the 4 hours we were there. You cant wear a mask and drink your beverage. The harassment was ridiculous by the staff and ruined an otherwise good experience for me and my children, who cried on the way home due to the way the staff treated them.

Needs more recent games. Not a wide selection. Some games were expensive even with happy hour.

My wife and I came to Chicago for a show and parked at the mall. We happened to just see this place as we were walking in and decided to check it out. Boy, am I glad we did. We had fun bowling, playing old school pinball, and even trying out virtual reality. The only thing that lost them a star was that it took quite a while for anyone to serve us a drink as we seemed to go unnoticed at the bar for a while, but to their credit it was the middle of a week day with it being pretty dead. Would definitely recommend coming here.

We stumbled upon Level 257 on a visit to Woodfield Mall in early August 2018. Im told an entrance to the mall was being installed the next day, but we only found it by chance, driving past its impressive outside entrance. The arcade, bowling alley, and restaurant are phenomenal! Great fun for grown-ups and kids alike!

Excellent service on what was a very busy night (Valentines Day)! We went for an early dinner and were able to be seated right away. Appetizer was served quickly and food followed shortly after! Kids loved being able to watch the bowling and thoroughly enjoyed the games after we ate!

This place is better then ANY OTHER arcade/bar for your family or with your date ive ever been to! There menu is on point also there drinks. They also have alot of ol school games as well and new joints as well so definitely do not sleep on this place there great seriously!

Had a great time. Food was great during the lunch hour. Wasnt sure if the mini burgers were enough but they were great. Pizza great definitely enough for one or two people. Our waiter was extremely attentive. Never went without a drink. Highly recommended.

Went for breakfast and bowling. My friend ordered the eggs Benedict and I wouldnt recommend it. Another member of our party tried a burger and loved the meat/flavor, but had to send back for missing toppings. The bowling was pretty disappointing, our balls werent returning and other issues, but staff was helpful this time. Ive been here several times (work parties, friends gathering, took kids bowling) and this one of of my better experiences, usually you cant find any help. Its improved over the years, but none of our group will be back. The quality, price, and service dont match.

Our family loves this place! Great food, drinks, games are so much fun! Perfect place for a date night or a fun night with the whole family of all ages. My dad loves the retro games and theyre very affordable so you can get more gaming for your money. Their ghost cocktails are delicious!!

We had the boneless wings with bourbon sauce and bruschetta at the bar when we came in. They were both absolutely amazing. We traveled 40 minutes to get there and it was well worth it. Bowling was fun. Only 10 something per person to bowl for 1 hour which is a better deal than most bowling alleys. We will definitely be back with the kids next time. Lots of games to play and great service.

I went here tonight with a group of people. There usually isnt a wait and theres ample seating around the entire bar area, restaurant, and gaming area.The food was good - its your basic American Bar Fare. I enjoyed the Cuban. The pac platter was nice but it really is your standard American food place with sushi thrown in.The sushi itself was very good and the sticky rice was cooked to perfection. I would honestly choose the sushi over the other food options.The games are fun and pretty much priced at what youd expect. They are about $1-2 each give or take with a few games being .50 and some being 2.50.They do have a good amount of drink selections including drafts and their happy hour seemed like a good deal.

New General Manager. He has turned this place around, or at least did something to motivate everyone there. It was at a point where it just felt like noone cared. But the recent service was spot on, the place is really clean and the selections is worth a few hours there.

Yesterday I had my daughters 10th birthday party here and they did AMAZING!!! Her party last year was cut short by Main Event, because they decided to rent out for another party and just the lights off on my guest...anyways the point is, I was very impressed with our server. She was on point with everything and very attentive to all of my guest. I will also that the cake they offer for $25 extra is WORTH it!!! It definitely takes that extra stress off. And not to mention it was delicious!! So great job PAC MAN entertainment!!!

It took about 10 mins for our server to cone to get our drink order. We were there on lunch. I saw a server hanging out leaning on a high top chatting - I said to my friend that I hope that not our server. It was. Then when it came time to get our food - he was chatting with someone else then he went and got our order. The place was not crowded at all. Terrible host terrible serve - good was pretty good.

I must say this place is nice and big enough to enjoy yourself with your friends or even family, how ever the service here is beyond terrible!! I have been sitting here at the bar for about 40 minutes now and the bartender has not even act knowledge my friend and I.. Im very disappointed coming here after I heard so many good things.. to top it off my friends placed a order of food about an hour ago and they forgot to place it. To Victor the bartender tonight.. truly disappointed in you... Im a bartender myself and know how to service people. Not even a hold on guys Ill be right with you.. (not that the bar was even packed) your services could have been beyond better.. Im a patient person I had to ask someone who had already ordered to order me a drink. First and last time I come here. Highly suggest Victor to get more help in customer service.

We like this place. Good for kids and adults. Good food and drinks are great. My husband and I enjoy drinks while the kids have fun. it can get busy but is still good.

We came to eat and got 4, 30 min cards but they never told us that they wouldnt give us the points and they didnt work on claw machines so we won nothing when we were working on getting points not really trying to play fun games we got nothing and nobody told us anything we drove 1 hour and 30 mins for nothing

A really neat establishment. The food was not what I expected (I envisioned mini-tacos & mozzarella sticks) with a gaming environment and a little pricey. Nonetheless, a fun place to spend time with friends & family.

Love the style of the place. Fun spot to grab a drink or just hangout with friends and eat. I spent most the time at the bowling side and the software is very simple and easy to use, same goes for the balls themselves as they are labeled with their sizes. I will say the lane didnt feel well oiled at all, so Im not sure how often they are maintained. I had to bowl straight the entire time but it was still a good time with good service.

This is in response/addition to Adriana’s review and in response to the owner not taking responsibility of an issue or an experience at your establishment. We were informed when booking the event that the store closed anywhere between 10-12 depending on business. We booked a party from 8-10. If drinks and bowling were going to be stopped before hand I would have greatly appreciated knowing that and I would have booked the event from 7-9. To pay for 2 hours of bowling to have it shut off before the two hour allotment and as indicted on the timer on the bowling kiosk itself, is absurd. Also to have the lights in the entire establishment shut off for 20 seconds before your stated 15 minute grace period is obnoxious. I would love to discuss further with you. Thank you.

Nice place for family fun

I read a lot of reviews saying that Level257 is way too expensive... well Level257 is located in a very high end mall and Level257 is a high end entertainment place and not your typical D&B or Round1, I will start my review with:1. location/building itself which is very modern, rustic and elegant, as the rest of the mall the location screams elegance and quality.2. My food experience was incredible the ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the wine reduction sauce was perfect seriously God bless the chef.3. Service was courteous and very professional, the manager was running around making sure everything was perfect and still got the time to stop by and ask if everything was okay.4. Entertainment, I counted like 3 down games but everything else was working perfectly, they got me with the wall full of pinball machines and the Wangan Max Tune 5.5. Pricing, the games are average $1.00 and up to $2.00, the restaurant yes is expensive but for the quality of the food they gave me I pay it with a smile on my face.Suggestions for the place, the ticket redemption area is hidden and difficult to find, the bowling area need some sitting for people that just want see a good bowling game and not invading the space for the actual players, the new mall entrance at the food court is beautiful but hidden.

Absolutely love this place! Best selection of games on a date, or to just take the kids and relax. We try to make it during the week between 4-7, when you can grab a $4 glass of wine or get a few appetizers for $5 a piece. Highly recommend it!

I mean I knew better, but come here for the games. Dont come here for the food. Waiter hasnt asked if we want refills. Brought out the meals. No ketchup, no asking if we want ketchup. Food was presentable. Egg was undercooked, and so was the bacon. Not the waiters fault but the appetizer comes out with this little cup of marinara and lots of calamari. Just a heads up if for some reason you expected anything worthwhile

They have made a lot of changes since the last time we were here. Very cool place. They still have 8 lanes for bowling, but replaced one section of lanes for video games.

We experienced incredibly slow service here on a Thursday night. Signed up for a bowling party of 5 and the young waitress threw out the waiting list and never called us. She brought all the wrong shoe sizes for the whole group. I think the Pac-Man concept is unique but the service can really make or break a place and it definitely SUCKS. The bar was also slow for no one being there. I just don’t get why the workers do not care about providing a good service to their patrons. We really were an inconvenience to them. We won’t be coming back.

Went once, had a great time. Went back, miserable experience. This place is so poorly run. 1 bar. 1 bartender. 2 servers. Bathroom is disgusting. The management is to blame for understaffing on a holiday and forcing their employees to work under such poor conditions. Their response shows that they are an oh well type of company, as opposed to lets make it better.

I decided to go to LEVEL 257 for my 21st birthday. Its connected with a mall. Also you can book A RSVP if its 8 or more guests you are charged a 20% gratuity fee. Also when its your birthday they may offer you a free 30 min game pass but you cannot gain tickets from it.

This place is an experience everyone should have. From all the Pac-Man history, excellent ballroom for events, friendly and polite staff, expansive arcade with prizes youll actually want to win, Level 257 was an all-around incredible time. Also attached to the largest mall in Illinios, youll have plenty more to look at afterwords if youre so inclined to do so.

Lobster mac and cheese and pulled pork nachos were awesome! Monday-Friday 4-7 its happy hour and the nachos are only $5!

They have a cool giant lego Pac-manin the lobby from the movie Pixels. They also have a timeline of pac-man with pictures on the wall while you wait in line. I went at an off time, there was no wait and only a couple people in the arcade a few more people were in the restaurant. I didnt eat so I cant speak about the food. The video game part reminded me of Gameworks or Dave & Busters but much smaller. Games ranged from $1 to $3 to play. They have skee ball, racing games,shooting games, air hockey, basketball, and other typical arcade games. They dont have as much as their competitors and at least 25% of the games said out of order. The ticket redemption area has some cool pac-man collectibles that are worth checking out.

While it was expensive, the food was excellent and enough for 2 meals making it way more reasonable. We didnt actually play any of the games but they had so many. Bowling, old school arcade games from the 70s and 80s, new arcade games, and virtual reality. It was excellent
