We went to the Christmas show and it was absolutely fantastic! The singers were phenomenal and the band was great! Kudos to a theatre that has been opened for 202 years and still going strong with great performances! Glad to say that I am from Savannah!

Excellent time watching Elf. Intimate theatre that is 200 years old. So much history in this building. The actors are too notch. Prices are reasonable as well. TIP for the kids... Refills are 50 cents.

The Savannah Theater puts on the best shows. So much talent had performed on that stage. Always an enjoyable experience!

Love this place, beautiful intimate theater. We’re happy it’s slowly re-opening after the pandemic, we saw Mamma Mia front row pre-pandemic and just enjoyed Savannah Cabaret post pandemic...support local theater and artists! Oh and give yourself ample time for parking when attending!

Every time we have been here it has been very entertaining, fun and we always look forward to coming back! I just wish the seats were a little more comfortable, but seats aside, lol, we will ne back and Thank You for a Great show!

Our group couldnt get enough of the cool architecture of this old building. It truly is beautiful and for any photography fans, you definitely have to come and see this place.They also host some fun shows ans if you go to there site, you can purchase tickets !

Just a wonderful time at this historic theater. The Savannah. has afeel about it that makes you drift to the days of live shows and entertainment. The performances by the cast were superb. I have frequented the Gershwin Theater in Manhattan and other top venues and the Savannah ranks right up there with them. If you want some Savannah charm...this is a place to spend twe hours on one of your nights! Totally delightful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love seeing every show here! All the owners/performers are fabulous! All are just as good if not better than singers doing shows on Broadway! They also have a fabulous holiday show that I look forward to every year:)

Awesome talent, very cool retro theater

Have been to numerous shows at this theater...excellent shows with great cast members. HOWEVER...just walked out of the trailer park show after 45 minutes ... it was totally lame, not at all funny and we were actually embarrassed for the cast ... they are talented and deserve better. Dont waste your time or money on this particular show. We were extremely disappointed.

This place is great. The interior feels like history. For its age the building is very well maintained. Also, the shows at this place are top notch, and the staff and cast are terrific. Very fun place to catch a show.

Savannah Theater is so cool! I saw W. Bruce Cameron and he did a great job speaking about his books. The Theater is really cool and lovely inside. I encourage anyone to go.

I cant recommend Savannah Theater enough. They put on fantastic shows - everything from a 70s variety show to Elf to Grease. They have an incredible cast that includes wonderful singers, dancers, and musicians. Each and every show I see is beautifully done. My favorite, perhaps, is the Christmas show they put on every year. This one is special because they get the audience involved throughout the show. It isnt Christmas in Savannah if you havent seen this show. I highly suggest getting tickets to every show you can. You wont regret it.

Amazing shows and just a beautiful place. Especially from the outside .

Love ALL the shows and stop in Savannah just to see one. You get to meet the cast after the show. I laughed a lot and the music is fantastic. Its my happy place. They support military people to see the shows too. I enjoy it as much as Broadway and Broward Center shows. It is small and personal and love it when people cheer and interact. They usually pick people from the show to come up on stage and make them feel great and get laughs from the audience. It is a gem.

The performance was beautiful and very diverse in the styles of music. Lots of audience interaction and personal connection, wonderful Savannah Live production and overall theater.

My family and I love the Savannah Theatre. We go every Christmas without fail to The Christmas Tradition. We also attend about 3 other various shows thoughout the year. Southern Nights, and Beat Goes On were awesome. The recent Mama Mia was lights out.The kids love it tooIf you are looking for a great place with family friendly entertainment in Savannah, this is it.

Wow!! What a show. A holiday musical and well worth the ticket. Very professional job with lots and lots of energy. Cannot believe Savannah has such talent. A must see. We will definitely be back with our family.

Gorgeous from outside haha

Cosmetically needs some upkeep, but great concerts and cool events are booked here. Friendly, accommodating personnel. If you are early free parking is available and Liberty Street Parking Garage is just across the street. If you arrive later, as I did, let off your guests and park the car two blocks away towards a neighborhood square and there seems to be plenty of available parking on the street. Really glad I got to see the Doobie Brothers here.

Went to see The Great American Trailer Park musical. It was hilarious! Great performance!

One of the greatest entertainment venues in savannah. Its classic look will let you fit just right in. Also tip, tee chairs in the theatre decline a bit, so you can make yourself really comfy.

Saw a Christmas Tradition and it was very good. Talented performers. Great spot to avoid the cold rain

This is a perfect community theatre for a city the size of Savannah. It is charming. The programming is a great balance between the “locals” and the tourists. The local cast is extremely talented and it is a delight to attend events here.

Wow, really high quality singing and acting. Ive been to many Bway shows and Elf definitely rivaled anything Ive seen up there. Thanks for the great performance and hope the cast and crew has a great holiday.

Been traveling around the U.S. for 45 days in an RV. Seeing this show was one of the best decisions Ive made so far on this trip. If you are in the area you must see any one of their shows. AMAZING

Very quaint. A superb piece of American theater history. I got to see an actual movie. It was perfect. Comfortable seats. We were in the balcony. I just think of all the things that have gone on within those walls.I hear the live shows are very good.The space itself is worthy of the experience.

Amazing theater celebrating 200 years. Holiday show exceptional. Theater is old but charming. The acoustics were pretty good. The feeling was festive & happy. I would definetly go for another show. Talent in show superb.

Went to see Mama Mia and had a great view from the balcony. Seating was a little tight but comfortable as they reclined slightly once you sit back. Bathrooms upstairs and downstairs made it easy to access and were both very clean. The lobby area is a bit small and beverages are hard to come by, especially adult drinks if they aren’t also serving food. Love the location with great access to other entertainment in downtown.

Great show, too hot! All of the performances replied to the audience of how hot it was....

Awesome illusion show!

Attended several Finals for the American Traditions Vocal Competition here. Beautiful stage with good sound. The city hosts the competition every year around February. World-class, multi-genre singers.

We had a great experience at the Hee Haw show May 2, 2019. We had so much fun. The show was fantastic. The performers were so friendly and took pictures with us and signed autographs. Thank you Jana, Lulu, Misty and Buck. I sincerely hope the theater will book more shows like this.

Our second time seeing Mama Mia. We saw it last year and we loved it then but loved it even more this year. Maybe because we were on the 2nd row. Loved seeing all the original Savannah Theatre cast in acting roles also. They seemed to be having a blast. Outstanding show.

We were looking forward to a delightful afternoons entertainment. We had been here before and thoroughly enjoyed it then. This theater has taken 9 to 5 and sleezed it up beyond belief. The sound system was the stuff of nightmares. It was so deafening, that we had to plug our ears with our fingers. Upon asking the management to lower the decibels, we were offered earplugs. We were assured that the sound was like it always was. We lasted an hour. Save your money and your hearing and miss this one.

Really enjoyed the Piano Men show. Very high energy, fun to sing along with every song. Love the history of the theater. It was exciting to see a show in one of Americas oldest theaters!

Fabulous venue and such a fun cast. Great show! Weve been to the Piano men, the Christmas Spectacular, Mamma Mia, and Savannah live. All of them were fabulous. If you have guests in town this is a perfect place to take them.

Disappointing...unless you are among the profoundly deaf. Decibel level is absolutely painful. Could not even concentrate on the show. Management has a ready stash of earplugs, if that tells you anything. Insists that all shows have the same volume level. Great business generator for local audiologists. Save your money and your hearing.

This theater is a gem in Historic Savannah. Through out the year they produce a variety of shows. A highlight is the annual Christmas show. It is a beautifully produced and well performed Christmas event not to be missed.

All of the shows are fantastic. Excellent local talent. I have attended several big city performances and the Savannah cast compares to the big boys.

Love going to the Savanah Theatre. The cast is awesome, music, skits and performances are absolutely worth the time and cost, which is reasonable. Have been a lot of times and will go back.

The Piano Men is a phenomenal show. They played many of my favorites and I sang along. The theater itself has drawbacks. The bathrooms are tiny and there was a distinct smell of mold where I was sitting.

Beatles by Request was fabulous!!! Check it out while you can!

Savannah theater never disappoints! Reasonable seat prices and the variety show is very entertaining. The shows are always punctual and you are on your way home by 10!

Savannah Live was a fun show. My wife and kids were dancing during the performance. Wife was moved to tears by a singer named Huxsie Scott. We’ve seen many Vegas variety shows, but somehow we enjoyed this one more. Maybe it was because of the very intimate setting, and audience participation. The musicians and performers, while they may not be more talented than the Vegas performers, nevertheless gave a more heartfelt performance.
