Concession stand has classics like popcorn, candies, but also a nice beer list of local brews and some wine options. This is my favorite theatre in Savannah! Surround sound is on par with your regular run of the mill theatre so your movie viewing experience is perfectly modernized in a setting rich in history.

Amazing venue. Best acoustics I have heard for college auditorium. Saw a Bluegrass band here and it was amazing. Really good sound. Safe neighborhood. Nice seating. Highly recommend.

One of the coolest places in downtown Savannah. This theater is great - there is always something awesome happening here. Whether it is the Savannah Film festival, a live play, concert, or an old movie - it is always a favorite place to go. I think it is wonderful that Savannah and the art school have preserved this wonderful building. The accoustics are great despite stepping back in time when here. I have seen South Pacific, Bye Bye Birdie, and Oklahoma here - totally awesome. Most recently there was a showing of the original Muppet movie. Plus afterwards you can go to Leopolds for ice cream afterwards!

Wonderful old vaudeville theater that has been lovingly maintained. Do yourself a favor and see a movie here.

This is SCADs personal indoctrination and brainwashing center that is fills with stuck-up celebrities once per year to feel good about itself and spends the rest of the year lying to students.

Beautiful theatre for both a show or speaking engagement. The lighting was well done and the sound was superb. Parking is the only issue, but that comes with most areas in Savannah. It is also very close to the always popular Leopolds ice cream. I recommend a visit if you have the time and dont mind a little walk.

Musical Explorer program for areas children is AMAZING, year after year!! BRAVO!

I went there to see the students summer films today and its great! Its a pretty theater, and the students are very talented people!

Great theater for the family or a place you can enjoy alone. Beautiful and clean facility with very comfortable seats. Enjoyed the theater during the Christmas holiday with unlimited Free drinks, popcorn and sweet treats.

Looks cool, but the rows are way too narrow, and the seats arent at a steep enough incline for me to be able to see over whoever is in front of me. The sound is also always way too loud. :/ Its bearable but it could definitely be better.

We enjoyed silent movies at the Trustees Theater recently. Beautiful, comfortable facility. So glad it is in our city!

Love this theater! They play great movies, the people who work there are nice and professional, and its beautiful. I only wish that they could have showings more frequently!

We watched Studio Ghiblis Grave of the Fireflies the theatre was great but the movie was tragically sad, yet beautiful and powerful.

Its for SCAD students only others have to buy a ticket if anything else is playing. nice interior.

Clean. Like a small Fox theatre. It’s downtown, so parking can be a crapshoot. Take a cab or an Uber. Right off a square.

Its always fun to go see the films that Scad has to offers. May it be classics, remade films or upcoming ones, the interior is always welcoming.

Probably ok for a movie but DO NOT Attend a concert here. Premium Price for Premium Seats only to have the whole of the theatre gather at the stage and block the view! Security too busy chasing skirt to notice. Left during third song. Tried to introduce my daughter and granddaughter to Graces Magic but it was not to be. Maybe another time, another place.

Great venue for events.

Great theater run by SCAD. The only reason it is not a 5 star rating is they updated the seats several years ago and the rows are too close together, even for short legged people. The newer seats are not as comfortable as the nearby Lucas theaters older seats.

My daughters dance showcase was held there. Loved the security and the staff at the consession stand worked quickly but didnt have a professional appearance.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Theater for An Evening with Nicholas Sparks. I enjoyed the evening and the theater is very nice, clean and well kept. It reminded me of The Florida Theater in Jacksonville, Fl.

An amazing experience!

I visited this Theater for the first time and I did not have a good experience at all. The staff at the theater was horrible and treated us like criminals. Telling us to back up and then come to the door again when it was showtime. The family and friends of the children that were performing were humiliated because we had a Scad Staff member yell and demean us. This was not the Southern experience we all were looking for. The conditions outside was horribly hot over 100 degrees and we had water to stay hydrated that we bought from home. And some things were said in reference to us not bringing water in the building. That was not kind! Climate conditionds were hot to the ectreme so we needed that water. Leopold next door gave there customers ice cold water for the people waiting in line to come in there place of business. And to my disappointment when we entered the theater we could not even purchase a drink of water. The atmosphere was cold and we all felt unwanted. I would hate to think that it was because it was because of the color of our skin. I feel so bad inside my soul that I fear I dont ever want to come back again. The event was for the kids. Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts. Sat July 30 and Sunday July 31st and on Sunday July 31st was a sad day for family and friends that showed up for this show. The show was AWESOME!!!!. The kids performance was wonderful but the Tall white(Did not get his name) male that works for scad on Sunday that came outside to yell at us needs to be fired. He should not talk to people that are helping him to get paid in that way. The people that were in line paid there hard earned money to see this performance and it was the people at the venue; scad employee that made it horrible. And your security only secured the door and people entering the door and nothing else. I know you have to make sure that everyone is safe but dam I felt I Ike I was walking through prison door. The Scad theater has definitely lost the support of my family and friends. Goodluck in making it better for all people not just one race. Oh and Scad employees scanning the kids right before they dance in the isles was disgusting and cruel and yes we saw that too. They were seconds away from performing for us and they were humiliated too. Really Children! You should be ashamed of yourself.
