What to say about the Jepson Center for the Arts? Its a breath of fresh air, literally, in the hot Savannah summers. The facade is so modern, yet so respectful of the colonial architecture that it makes you want to stay in forever. Admission includes the other 2 Telflair Museums. The gift shop and restaurants are right up front making you want to stay in the lobby but dont, keep going in and be amazed!Jepsen has more contemporary art.Great job!

Beautiful museum! We also had lunch there with an informative and funny waiter! He really made the experience great ! Also get access to multiple other museums when you buy one ticket. You get access to these other museums for one week after initial visit. They require masks inside. Senior and student discount a plus! Worth the money!

The exhibits are fun and interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed it. There were lots of interactive areas which was a surprisingly refreshing break from the more information heavy things to see and do. Everyone we met in Savannah was so nice and welcoming except the woman who works the front desk at the Jepson Center- she was rude and obviously did not want to do anything that might be construed as helpful. Otherwise, its a great place to visit.

We visited to see the Impressionism exhibition called Monet to Matisse they are hosting in 2019. While not a giant collection, the pieces on display were wonderful. There were probably 25 paintings in the exhibition, and the name sakes are not the only ones to see.The rest of the Jepson Center is fun, but not that exciting. They had one exhibit that was live video from the Savannah River Site nuclear facility. It was some kind of living art display. For such a massive place I feel like they could get more exhibits in there. Its my second time there, and Im sure Ill go back in the future, but it will be based on what special exhibit they have.

I like this museum, it’s small but nice. The windows are amazing and I love the shape and the lighting in here, it really showcases the artwork. The auditorium is well lit and has a fairly good amount of seating. The interactive exhibits were fun but unfortunately, a few of them were down and I feel like some of the interactive exhibits which featured nudity should have had a disclaimer. The children’s space is lovely and I love the recycled materials but it could be kept up better. I recommend anyone to check Jepson Center out.

I didnt catch her name, but the gal running the drop-in kids art studio is an incredible human being. She was so patient and kind and encouraging and fun with my kids. I wish we lived here in town so we could go every day to make art with her! The ladies in the giftshop and the front desk were exactly the opposite, but I guess you cant win em all. The exhibits here are interesting, extremely varied, but rather small. The play space upstairs is phenomenal. We could have stayed there for hours. Beautiful, light-filled building.

***Do not eat there if you have any food allergies.***The Jepson center was the last stop on our tour of all three telfair museums, its collection is small but uniquely local. However we ate at the cafe, and even after asking three times if a meal could be prepared gluten free, watching our server go ask the chef, and asking as they put the meal down in front of my wife, it was definitely not gluten free and my wife was severely sick in about two hours. Awful way to spend your vacation

A small, simple museum perfect for the small amount of time we had. The main attraction were the impressionist pieces which were stunning!I’d say the 20$ price is most definitely worth it if you have time to visit the two other sites, Owens Thomas House and Slave Quarters and the Telfair Academy, then you will definitely have a day out of it!The museum itself could take you a couple hours.

Great open space with a lot of great art. You can get in along with the other Telfair Museums for $20, and I believe the pass lasts a week. The interactive art with VR and electronics were really cool, and by far our favorite section. This was our first trip to the Jepson Center. It was wonderful. My sister and brother-in-law celebrated their 20th-year vowel renewal at this location this past weekend. The staff was very accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to make this occasion a success. We didnt have a lot of extra time so we are planning another trip so that we can see the exhibition Monet to Matisse: Masterworks of French Impressionism from the Dixon Gallery and Gardens. The information I was given says this is available until February 10, 2019. So if nineteenth-century French painting interests you at all - Go check this out at the Jepson Center before it is too late!!!

I visit the Jepson several times a year, and I always enjoy my time spent there. Their exhibits rotate every several months, so there is always something new to view. In addition, the Jepson also hosts movie screenings and festivals throughout the year, which I find are always well attended and informative. There is also a dedicated interactive section for children that keeps them entertained and educated. This is a great place to spend a few hours on any given day. I really appreciate that the museum commonly shows how art and technology intersect, with the results greatly benefiting humanity. In my opinion, this is a highly recommended stop for tourists and locals.

The Impressionism show has some key works you will love! At least a dozen artists are featured - and the works bridge the timeline that escapes realism and moves toward cubism and other modern genres. A work by Cezanne showed ingredients of cubism, even though it was an impressionistic piece. Enjoy.
