Beautiful park to visit. Unfortunately, was a rainy day when we arrived. Still enjoyed seeming some deer, turtles and a alligator. Hoping our second trip has better weather to enjoy much more of the hiking trails.
This entrance is only open on Sat and Sun and national holidays. The main entrance is on SR 72. This park is amazing. Beautiful natural scenery and an abundance of wildlife will be found here. Hiking trails for a nice walk or a hike out into natural Florida. There is a restaurant and gift shop and pontoon boat tours of the lake. Canoe and bike rentals are also available. You cant beat all there is here for such a small entrance fee.
Nice place to hike, bike ride and take a kayak, boat or trolley tour.
Hate is only open on weekends but you can park and walk through.
This entrance could use more parking spaces. There is only room for a few vehicles. We parked here but several other vehicles had to find somewhere else to go. There is plenty of room to expand the lot.
Beautiful park, went there while working in the park, now I really want to go back to enjoy the park.
Always an awesome experience. One of the best parks in Florida with too many different things to see.
Ive always loved the park as a kid and now I can enjoy it with my kids. Love fishing clay gully. And they have done a lot since I was a kid to make the park better without destroying what it was. You can really get a good sense of what old Florida was like out there.
This entrance is only open on the weekends. ️
Love this place! Take the educational tram tour. Evey is the BEST guide in the business!
Check before you go. Big changes on entering the north gate.
Cant use the North gate during the week and South gate is another 33 miles
Great place to take a walk in nature. You see a lot of wildlife. Love the canopy walk.
Its not open or accessible like it use to be
True Western Florida, many trails, primitive camping, wildlife - fishing, airboats.
