What a wonderful experience! We visited on a weekday night with no prior knowledge of throwing axes, and were trained quickly and safely on throwing the axes. The owner was very knowledgeable, skilled, and very friendly. It also has a lively environment with music and friendly staff.Overall, it is very well priced, safe, and a fun experience! You can also bring your own beer! One of the best experiences so far on our trip to Sarasota and would definitely recommend!

So much fun! An hour and a half session didnt seem like we would nearly have enough time but by the end we were all tired. We had guests in town and wanted to try something new. The guy explained the safety first and how to throw and allowed us to play. He was great. Everyone had the best time from teenager to Grandma! We will visit again. One key detail-even though it tells you on the website and front door-wear closed toe shoes! Thanks for a great afternoon!

My boyfriend and I came on vacation and found a great deal on Groupon for this place and it was honestly the highlight of our trip! We had so much fun! This place has great music and we went late during the week so it was not too crowded which was perfect.Owner Vito is very patient, knowledgeable, kind, and cool to talk to! He stayed with us past our time to talk and had a drink with us! It is byob no hard liquor which is fine and wear closed toed shoes!We would definitely come back again! Do not hesitate if you are thinking of trying this place! :)

Wonderfully fun venue for a party or date night! Axe and Bull hosted my husbands 40th Birthday party. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The party was a huge success! Everyone had a great time! Highly recommend!!!

I’m a girly girl and this is not usually the type of thing I would think to do but a friend brought me along and I’m glad she did! The owner is super nice and took a lot of time with us teaching us exactly how to get the technique down. If you are curious about this place just go! Do it now! It’s a lot of fun.

Cameron is a safe, awesome and funny instructor. I struggled in the beginning but by the end of the session I was able to land a couple of Bullseye thanks to Camerons coaching regarding technique and form. The BYOB allowance definitely helped lol. Brought boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it. Fun atmosphere, other participants were all encouraging. Definitely a memorable experience. Will return.

This was a first for me and my friends. We were a party of 4 and had tons of fun. The owner gave a quick safety speech and the how to was quick, too. We all picked it up pretty fast. Definitely would do it again. If you are on the fence on whether you should try this or not... TRY IT!!!

The owner/trainer/instructor was so helpful and kind. They were running late on our reserved time so he stayed open late just to make sure our groups got their time in! We took our son here for his birthday. He really took a liking to it and was pretty by the time we left. The gentlemen there showed us how to throw safely and was very thorough making sure we understood all the safety rules.We all had a great time. It was really fun and something different and I had found this on groupon. No problems using it, showed it to the man on my phone and we were ready to throw. We will definitely be back!

This was a good time. Went on a Groupon with a small group. It was a fun time but a bit crowded. Id like to go on a less busy night considering the size of the place. Staff were friendly and showed everyone the correct technique. No complaints other than its going to be crowded/loud, so be forewarned if that isnt your scene.

Tried this for the first time. The place is very clean, very organized. The ownership is a very good instructor, very personable and goes over ALL saftey precautions. We had a lot of fun and it was a great activity! We hope they open another location in the future!

Vito is an awesome host! His instructions were helpful and he kept an eye on us. Our group of about15 hired the 2pm slot and brought food + drinks. We had fun!

My mother and I had a really great afternoon throwing axes!! The owner was super cool, and did an exceptional job teaching us the right way to throw. I saw someones review before I went saying that he did not feel safe, but the owner did a great job going over the safety rules, monitoring everyone, and making sure we all had a safe and fun experience!

Vito, Kaitlyn and Erin are so nice and welcoming! I’ve gone and here twice and have completely fallen in love with the sport of axe throwing. It is so safe and they watch each lane to make sure everyone is following safety procedures.

Awesome Date Night

Small place, but we had a great time! Great axeperts kept things interesting and safe at the same time. We will definitely be back, this is a great indoor air conditioned activity, and a blast once you get the hang of it. BYOB, or whatever you like to drink, no concessions on premise.

Loved this place!!! We went here on a double date with our friends because we wanted something different for a date night and this place didn’t disappoint at all. The employee there was so much fun and she helped us whenever we needed tips or just to show us how it’s done. Super fun environment! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Got a chance to try out Axe and Bull with a large group of 14 and we could not have had a better time. Vigo is a great instructor and really allowed everyone to have a good time with it. It was 2 for 1 night so it was $16 per person and was well worth it. Everyone from best to worst had a chance and learned very quickly it is not about strength, but technique. This is an awesome time and great for a large group!

Terrible place. They scam people that use groupon. DO NOT BUY there stuff off of that website. The paper specifically said you can print it out and show in person. When we went they said they need to see proof on your phone. We didnt pay for it (it was a gift) but they scam 80.00 dollars. Do not go here

Recently booked a 10 person birthday party for my 20-year-old nephew at Axe and Bull. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way possible . I highly recommend this activity, throwing was fun and easy for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Good experience

Incedibly sloppy and dangerous range management. It is just a matter of time before some innocent participant ends up with an axe burried in their skull with their brains spilling on the floor. People were recovering a thrown hatchet at the same time as someone throwing one in the same unprotected lane. It would be like allowing folks to check their targets while a gun range is still on live fire--very irresponsible and almost unbelievable unless Id seen it with my own eyes. The Axe and Bull had also overbooked and had standing room only with deadly weapons flying around. Watch for the impending and inevitable news bulletin from the predictable tragedy to follow! PS: to qualify my comments, I am a first responder and weapons expert!
