Balletto Vineyards is amazing! The hospitality was great, and their outdoor patio is beautiful. Big selection of wines, and the cheese platter was awesome! I proposed to my boyfriend here, and our waitress (Caitlin) saw it through the window. They brought out champagne and a confetti popper for us! It was very unexpected, and made our experience so special. Also, this place is dog friendly, and takes Covid regulations seriously. Great establishment. I highly recommend!
The BEST Pinot Noir ever. Great staff and family. KUDOS to the Winemaker!
This WAS a 5 star experience. Now they continue to charge me for member benefits they dont offer during covid... stop charging me recurring fees or bottles, until you are actually open for tastings and the live music, and food experience i signed up for.
Ballettos Pinot Noir is magnificent! The staff is very friendly and Jacqueline, who took my phone order, did so with panache.
Feel a part of the Balletto Family when you stop by here. Larger parties may be accommodated, Corn Toss games, picturesque settings and an easy access to the Laguna Trail. The Pinots are a favorite for the masses, but Im also enjoying the Chardonnay.
Our group came in for our first visit of the day. Heather helped us through our tasting. She made great suggestions and was super hospitable. She gave us blankets and crackers as well as water for when we sat outside on their gorgeous patio. We will definitely come back!
The best tasting we did in the Sebastopol area. $10 tasting fee. The guy was great and extremely knowledgeable, Vince. Fun place. We will be back soon and join the club.
Great spot for outdoor drinks and dog friendly! We had a great time, very relaxed and loved the wine too!
We are lucky to have such a compassionate vineyard as part of our community. Thank you Balletto Vineyards for your compassion and support. I choose to support you in return.
I I had the opportunity to travel to Napa Sonoma this weekend with my wife and a couple of friends. Our first stop when we got off the plane was at Balleto. We did not have an appointment and they were busy but a young girl named Vanessa gladly took care of us and actually gave us an impromptu tour of the production facility. Her hospitality was greatly appreciated. this doesn’t happen every day at Sonoma and Napa wineries. If you don’t have an appointment a lot of times they don’t give you the time of daythank you Vanessa

Great place. Amazing and affordable wines. All I tasted were so good and well balanced. Yummy yummy! We brought a picnic with us and they pored our wines on the patio. Great staff!! We will be back.
Lovely wines and lovely people.
Great experience tasting wines here during our trip, very friendly owners and the wines were delicious! Recommended!
We had an excellent tasting even in the rain! The pinots and zin were our favorite but everything was delectable. The outdoor space looks charming so we’ll need to come back in the warm weather. Big thank you to our sweet server, Charmaine! She was so attentive, generous and informative.
Debbie was so amazing and knowledgable! Great wines here, and very affordable! Must stop in Sonoma Valley!
First wine country visit.
The winery was beautiful and the wine is incredible. Debbie was an absolute pleasure and I hope to be back soon.
Jacqueline, the owners daughter, helped us out during the wine tasting. She was very friendly, helpful, and made this a pleasant experience.
While staying in Jenner for the Thanksgiving weekend 6 of us went on a lovely wine tasting tour. Our favorite stop was the Balletto Vineyard - every wine pour for our tasting was excellent and our pourer, Emily was charming, knowledgeable and made our visit very special. After tasting we sat outside and ate our lunch from Moms Apple Pie. All good!
Great place for a group. Nice outdoor patio. Dog friendly both indoors and outdoors. Specifically loved the rosè of pinot noir. I would come here again :)
Great wine starts in the vineyard. It should be no surprize, therefore, that Balletto wines are outstanding. John Balletto is a local guy, born and raised in Sebastopol, who, when his dad died while John was in high school, started growing vegetables with his mom. He grew everything from lettuce, to zucchini, to basil. He began growing grapes, not as a boutique grower with money from the dot com industry, but as a farmer. Then, when you take wine grapes grown by a real farmer, in a region ideally suited to the pinot noir varieties he grows, and turn them over to a gifted and talented and perfectionist team of winemakers headed by Anthony Beckman, the result is some of the finest wines in the world. Dont take my word for it. Go to the tasting room and taste for yourself, and look up the number of awards won every year at the Sonoma County Harvest fair competition. It may be entirely separate from the quality of Balletto wines, but John and Teri Balletto also are deeply involved in our local community and they support many civic organizations and the arts community. For me, that gives Balletto wines an extra richness and depth that transcend fermented grape juice.
Whats not to like about Balletto. Cool tasting room. I enjoyed listening to the blues while tasting the very fine pinots and a dry gewurtztraminer. The patio is nice too. Very friendly, here, none of that pretentious wine snob stuff. Tip: if you show them your Visa signature card, your tasting will be free.
Absolutely fantastic. Great wine, and very friendly staff.
Great wine club party! Thank you Balletto for the fun event!
Visited in 2014 and became a fan of their Pinots at first taste. Would encourage anyone interested in great small vineyard Pinots to join their wine club!
We visit Sonoma every July 4th and always make a point to stop at Balletto. Its always pleasant to visit and their suggestions on local wine and food are always great. Here at home, we just corked their 2015 Sexton Hill pinot noir to go with homemade meatloaf. Wow. Its a nice, silky pinot with a more subtle hint of cedar at the end than we would find in Santa Ynez. Thumbs up!
Keith and Heather in the tasting room were fantastic! The wines are delicious and the prices are very fair.....great quality/value quotient.
Great hosts. Excellent wines
Family run, great service, amazing wines, especially the Syrah!!!
Debbie is a doll!
